"C'mon...! C'mon c'mon c'mooooon...! OH COME ON!!!"
Mickey's irate scream, followed by the sounds of his fists slamming the keyboard and his headset clattering to the floor, echoed throughout the spacious, opulent living room of the camper van. He scowled lividly at his monitor, blood red eyes alight and jagged teeth gritted as if the vampire raccoon was fully prepared to sink his fangs into the infernal machine.
"SEE?! YA SEE, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" Mickey shouted, turning his glare on his co-player seated at the computer next to him. "That's exactly what happens in this game when you have all damage and no support! I told ya! You should've picked Mercy!"

"Oh, will you shove it already?!" Cat groaned, flopping back in her chair and shooting Mickey an agitated frown. "If you like Mercy so much, why don't you just marry her?!"
She faced her monitor again, her expression still angry but her temper surprisingly cool as she started preparing for another session. "It's my first time playing this stupid game, dude. Can you maybe stop lecturing me and just let me enjoy it? Besides, am I a support player in real life? No! I'm stickin' with what I know! I'm not playing as your stupid angel waifu!"

Ugh... Really? They were still arguing about that game?
With a long, drawn-out groan, Rio stood up off the couch and turned off the TV. "Okay, that's it. I can't listen to you two scream at each other about who's gonna play Tracer anymore. I'm going for a walk."
The mage walked over to the door with a heavy trudge, stepping out of the camper van and onto the grassy field their mobile home was parked in. On any other day, he might've questioned (as he was often wont to do) how they hadn't been towed out of Portal Park yet, but that was honestly the least of his worries now. This shouting contest between Cat and Mickey had been going on ever since they booted up that dumb Underwatch game or whatever it was called. He needed some semblance of peace and quiet to keep himself from losing his mind, and it spoke wonders that he was more likely to find it out here on the island than he was inside.
He breathed in the cool, late afternoon air through his nose. He stretched his back until he heard a satisfying pop. Then Rio put on a tranquil smile and began a leisurely stroll away from the camper van. A walk in the park might've been just what he needed.

Well. At least you didn't wake me up to deal with your problems.
When Percy came to after Imago released him, his eyes met a park of some sorts. A park with portals that he was not very eager to try out lest he get warped inside a solid (that hurt), but there were plenty of worse places to wake up. "Gah... I'm hungry..." Reaching into his coat, the brunette pulled out one of the pizza boxes from the mall, and removed a slice of cold, but still tasty pineapple pizza. "Breakfast of champions," he said aloud.
Kid, it's afternoon. This isn't even what I'd call brunch.
"Shut up, Imago," Percy said in-between bites of pizza, apparently to the air. "So... how'd your search go? I'm gonna guess not well, otherwise you wouldn't have let me go." He felt the demon's scowl.
I know who it is. She just gave me the slip.
"So, you know whatever was stalking us?" Having finished his first slice, he wiped his hands on his coat and pulled out a second slice. "Old flame?"
The demon growled. More like, I want to feed her to the flames of hell. I'd explain more, but you look like a damn idiot talking to yourself...
"What're you-" Percy looked around, before noticing another human. "Oh, uh, hi! Didn't see you there!"

"Oh..." Rio had been standing a few feet away from Percy, having been strolling down the walking path when he found the young man talking to himself. There was a tiny amount of confusion in the mage's expression, as was to be expected, but overall, he didn't seem particularly bothered. He simply offered Percy a meek smile and a shrug. "Oh, no worries, mate. I'm just passing through. Don't mind me."

"Oh good, you're not too concerned about the demon in my head. It's a long story," Percy replied. "Pizza?" He offered, pulling out another box. "I dunno what kind this is, I just stuffed all the boxes in my coat without looking. I kinda do that a lot..."
Offering Rio a seat on a bench, he began to think of what to say. "So, uh... my name's Percy Worcester-Isaac, and I just found myself here after said demon took over me to look for a creature that was stalking me and my friends. Have you seen anything strange? Or for that matter, a tall guy with messy blonde hair and/or a plain-looking guy with short brown hair that doesn't look like a rat's next?"

"Demon, huh?" Rio tilted his head with a sort of morbid smirk. "I suppose that's not the weirdest thing I've ever come across." Oh, the life of a magically unstable mage on a quest to prevent the apocalypse...
"Oh, uh..." He raised his hand slightly when the young man offered him pizza. "No thank you. I just ate a little while ago." He did at least take a seat when prompted. A little conversation couldn't hurt. At least this one wasn't about Widowmaker. "Riordan von Felden. Um... You can call me Rio if you want. Most people do. I'm kinda used to it by now."
Rio took on a worried expression as Percy explained his situation, soaking all of it in with genuine concern. "Oh... No, I can't say I've seen anything. I only stepped outside for the first time today a few minutes ago. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to try helping you out, though." He awkwardly scratched behind his ear. "This creature stalking you, though... What kind of creature, exactly? Any clue why it's after you fellows?"

"Uh... Hey, Imago," Percy said, eyes looking upward. "What did that creature look like and why is is stalking us?"
It's a pussy with purple fur, puke green eyes, and a shit-eating grin. Hell if I know why it's stalking us
"... A cat with purple fur, green eyes, and a giant grin," the brunette relayed. "No idea why it's stalking us, if it even has a reason." Percy thought. "Okay, so you haven't seen Will and Ryan, but have you seen that creature?"

"Hmm... With that description, no, not for a long while." Granted, the last time Rio had seen a Chess Mire Cat was back home. Somehow he doubted that was what Percy and his demon were referring to.
He shrugged slightly and continued, "I might not have any information for you on this creature, but if nothing else, I do know a divination spell that could help you track down your friends. If you want that sort of help, anyway."

"Oh, uh, dee-vine-ation?" Percy mispronounced the word, though he seemed curious about the spell. "I've heard of it, but I don't know what that means." He rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "So... what is that, and how can it help me find my friends?"
It's a way of seeing into the future, and quite frankly, I don't put much stock in most divination.
"Please be nice to Rio, Imago. I know it's hard for you to be nice, but at least pretend to be."

Rio chuckled somewhat at Percy's comment to his demon. Then he reached into one of his robes pockets and pulled out a small, crystalline sphere, continuing all the while, "Well, I can use a scrying spell to find one of your friends' location. Best case scenario, the rest of them wouldn't be too far behind, right? It's a little harder to track people with only secondhand knowledge of them, but if you have, say, a picture of them, a piece of their clothes, anything like that, it'd be tremendous help."

"Oh, uh... awkward..."
Percy made a nervous-sounding chuckle. "I uh, have nothing of any of them. No pictures, no clothes, no nothing... So, uh, I dunno how I'm gonna supply you with anything..." He looked around. "Well, I may still have some of the pineapple Will ripped off his pizza, does that count?"

"Eh, I guess I can't fault you for that. Not like there's some universal law demanding you carry a memento from a friend everywhere you go," Rio murmured with another shrug and a simple grin.
The pineapple idea, though... Rio had to mull that one over with slight discomfort. "Well, I, uh... I guess there's a distinct possibility his skin cells were left behind. I could... maybe work with that. Better than nothing."

"Great!" Percy was oblivious to Rio's discomfort. "Hang on, lemme grab those." There was a series of interesting shuffling noises as the brunette rummaged through his coat. "Hairball... rusty coathanger that I used to get in a building... miniature replica of the solar system... plot device, huh I was wondering where I put that..."
After a few minutes of rummaging, Percy produced several pineapple triangles. "Here they are! So, what's next?"

"Well... Hmm..." Rio awkwardly picked up a piece of pineapple, trying his darnedest to hold back a look of disgust as he let it rest in his palm. "Now I just need a description of... you said his name was Will, right? Just want to be sure I'm know who I'm looking at if this spell successfully connects."
