Full Name: Orochi
Nickname(s): N/A
Age: 28
Height: Somewhat short
Weight: Not for public viewing.
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Heroic
Home: Castle Shirasagi, Hoshido
Franchise: Fire Emblem (Fates)
Physical Description
Orochi’s outfit is… very difficult to describe. She has light purple eyes and greyish-purple hair which she keeps neat via a large golden hairpiece and white ribbon.
It’s far easier to simply see a picture to understand how she typically dresses, so see the picture below.
Weapons and Accessories
Orochi has two weapons with her upon arrival; one is a Tiger Spirit, a scroll from Hoshido that uses an attack that is fairly strong, and raises the user’s speed very slightly, though reducing their ability to double-attack.
Her other weapon is a Moonlight tome from Nohr. While it isn’t as powerful, the spell, after Orochi initiates an attack with it, heals her somewhat.
Abilities/Powers
Orochi, while having several battle-specific skills, is also a very capable Diviner, utilizing cards to tell fortunes; her fortunes are quite accurate.
Weaknesses
Orochi is not durable. While she can handle magical attacks decently well, her physical defense is paltry and she needs to rely on Moonlight to be able to handle a sustained battle on her own.
Skills
Orochi’s Personal Skill is Capture. She can choose to, when attacking an enemy, hold back enough to prevent killing them and then coerce them to come with, locking them in the castle’s prison where they can be recruited as a proper member of the army. It does not work on Vallites, but can on most other opponents.
Magic +2 is fairly self-explanatory, giving Orochi a boost to her magical power.
Future Sight is Orochi using her Diviner abilities to glean more information from her battles, giving her a Lck% chance to double the experience she gains from defeated enemies.
Finally, while she doesn’t remember learning it, Orochi also has Potent Potion, which uses apothecarial techniques to give a 1.5x boost in effectiveness to healing items like Vulneraries and stat-boosting items like Tonics.
Personality
Orochi, despite her antiquated style of speaking, is a fun-loving and playful individual, often teasing folks she speaks with. While she does so all in good fun, she has a bad habit of not knowing when to stop, often making folks she speaks with incredibly uncomfortable.
She also is a fairly competitive person by nature, and loves a challenge. She is a sentimental person who cherishes her friendships greatly.
History
Orochi comes from a noble house in Hoshido, her family working in the castle as imperial Diviners. Her parents were not well-respected due to the nature of the fortunes they told; they were unpredictable and would predict bad fortune as often as good.
As such, it was a controversial event when Queen Mikoto chose Orochi to be one of her retainers. Years later, Orochi had received a grim vision of Mikoto’s death, though the details weren’t clear. Unfortunately, her warning was not enough to prevent the queen from dying, and war broke out between Hoshido and Nohr.
When the Yato blade stayed in Hoshido, Orochi, alongside Saizo, brought dire news from the frontline to Corrin, that Ryoma and Takumi had both gone missing. Afterwards, she joined the growing force, ultimately putting down Garon and ending the war.
However…
When the blade left for Nohr, Orochi joined up with Takumi, helping with an uprising in Cheve. Corrinne’s forces quelled the uprising, and in the end, Orochi was executed along with most of her allies.
That isn’t what happened, however.
When the twins attempted to get aid from Hoshido at Fort Jinya, Orochi was part of the group that attacked the traitor-branded twins. When they were defeated, Orochi, out of grief, refused to aid them, and she saw Kaze and Sakura stop Saizo from blowing himself up to take Corrin and Corrinne out. Later on, Orochi aided Saizo and Reina on a rescue mission in Mokushu to find Kagero.
When the twins and their force came to find Saizo and lent their aid in Kagero’s rescue, Saizo joined, and Orochi and Reina did as well. Afterwards, Orochi found herself diving into the Bottomless Canyon, winding up somewhere far different...
