"Oh, uh, sure! You guys go handle that. Probably best to get out of this web of insanity while you're still ahead..." Will looked up at the brothers, nodding. "I'm not sure what you guys are thinking, but I'm really hoping my theory is wrong- I'll explain later!" Anything to get the red out of his face. As the brothers left, he sighed and looked down at Leanne. "... Do you know, Leanne?" No response.
"Flint, allow me to handle this. And stop whining." The exiting of the Sellers brothers didn't seem to phase Val. She shrugged at the time stuff. "I'm not sure if I believe in time travel, but space travel's another story. Seeker usually informs us when they go off on their own... starting to wonder if they kidnapped Seeker, now that you said something about the angels..." She paused, thinking... "To my knowledge, Lark has no connection to angels, and neither does Seeker..."

"Reckless isn't exactly my style," Paul chuckled awkwardly. "Thanks guys. Sorry again about the spontaneity. We should probably try to catch up later to hear what everyone's learned."
"The cemetery," Scott cut in, nodding firmly to the others. "Meet us in the cemetery."
"Um... Yeah, that works. So, uh, we'll see you guys later." With that, Paul waved to Will and Ranuen before following his brother out, the nervous grin he had put on quickly fading the moment he was out of his friends' line of sight. The brief encounter with Val and Flint quickly became all but a distant memory. What mattered most to Paul now was finding Kelsey and Percy.
Scott took a deep breath, his narrow eyes trained on Paul. "You think she knows?"
"Sad to say... but I think there are a lot of things she knows and isn't telling me."

Ranuen looked away as Paul departed. He was certainly nervous for the guy, but trusted him to have a good head on his shoulders, and Scott to keep him safe. Now he had to focus on his own role. "I don't think we can count on Leanne to give regular tips right now Will." He mentioned. Val, meanwhile, seemed to be onto something. "You say that. That Seeker has no connection. But it looks like it's tipped you off as to something. What is it?" Ranuen asked, curiously, before looking at the museum, and shaking his head. "Well. If it's okay with everyone else, we can talk as we go. I prefer action to talking anyways." He suggested as he approached the museum and attempted to open the doors.

"I'm not sure if it was angels. There's a lot of shady motherfuckers on this island. Myself and the band of thugs I associate with included." As Raunen opened the door, the lights themselves were not on, rather something else was lighting the place. "Magic. Battery. Don't know, don't care." The power source was clearly unimportant to Val. She began her walk down the hall to whatever it was that was generating attention. "Follow me. And get ready to avert your eyes, this could be a visual hazard..."
"W-Whoa! Val, slow down!" Will power-walked behind Val, cautious of the unconscious Leanne in his arms. "I can't run like that! I've got a passed-out sister in my arms! Gah! Slow down, what's the rush for?!"
"... Yeah, that guy needs protection." Once he was sure his sister and her new posse were safely in the museum, and that the dragon man and the skid were out of earshot, Flint ducked to the side of the building, coiling in on himself. A puff of smoke later, a purple wyvern stood where Flint was, and took to the skies.

"Eh, at least you're honest about it." Ranuen noted as he took in the room. This was weird. "Errr.... is it.... normal for this place to be lit up like this?" He asked, before Val started walking off. No-nonsense type, huh? Ranuen glanced back at Will briefly before following after Val. "A visual hazard? What kind of visual hazard? Like a blinding flash or something?" He asked, before he overheard Will's added banter.
"Will, if you're having trouble keeping up, you can give her to me. Won't be a problem." Ranuen stated. Long as it doesn't take too long anyways.

"... So, that's what it is."
After glancing at the display before her, Val looked down. Let's not find out if this was an actual visual hazard or just something unpleasant to look at, shall we? She heard footsteps behind her- Will with comatose sister, and the talking thing from the cemetery at a regular size.
"So, that's what it is... That's a weird way to- gah!" Once he was next to Val, she pulled his head down to look at the floor. "Gah?! What gives, Val?"
"I don't know if this is a visual hazard or not, but let's not take the risk. That goes for your companion too."
"I, uh, sure! Raunen, avert your eyes from whatever it may be! Listen to the attractive and intelligent shady lady!" Whoops, that was out loud, Will. At least looking at the floor was a good way to avoid your now-red face from being public.
A red eye opened.
"... Big brother?"

Ranuen frowned at the command, but did as he was instructed, lowering his head and bringing his left arm up across his forehead to further obstruct his peripheral vision. "You know of this?" He inquired, as he walked behind Val, keeping pace easily enough. "I feel a little left outta the loop here, honestly." He added with a small grumble, but Will's slip of the tongue caused him to grin a little bit. He knew his ability to detect magical power in his near proximity would probably be pretty useless here. Only especially powerful magic types would register in a place like this, with so much ambient magic about.
He heard Leanne's voice though. "Leanne, I don't know if you can actually hear us right now, but if you start waking up, watch your eyes. Apparently. Something something visual hazard of an undefined nature." He advised, as he focused his eyes on Val's boots to keep track of where she was moving, walking as well as he could to keep pace.

"... Leanne? Did you just... say something? Something completely lucid?" Will turned around and began to exit this little exhibit. No need for her to be exposed to that. "Hang on, I'm gonna get us outta this room. Hold tight for a moment." Tap tap tap went his boots.
"I have no need of anything else in here. Just needed a look. ... You got that image stored in your brain's darkest corner? Good." And now Val was leaving, finding Will sitting down on a bench with Leanne.
"Leanne... you okay? Please..." A hand clad in a purple, bandaged glove rose up, flicking Will on the nose. "Gah! ... Hang on, Leanne? Leanne! You... You..."
"Mhm..." A pair of red eyes slowly opened, a pink-topped head looking around. "Are we... at the museum?" Her voice wasn't clouded with sleep. "Will? Will, are you-" Leanne felt a pair of arms embrace her, their owner crying into her shoulder.
"L-Leanne... you're awake... I... I... We w-w-were all s-s-so scared that you wouldn't wake up..." In response, Leanne reached a hand over, patting Will's back.
"Sssh, it's okay big bro. Don't cry."

Ranuen heard Will move away again, and then apparently Val too. Ranuen went with her, finally lowering his arm and looking back up. "What was... What was it back there?" He asked, then heard Leanne's voice. "She's awake!?" He exclaimed, picking up the pace to look over at Will with a sigh of relief and a smile. "Well. That's one good thing that came out of all of this, huh?" He noted, but that was all. He stepped back a little to give Will and Leanne some space. They deserved that much. Family reunion and all that. There might be some personal stuff to clear out of the way, and Ranuen was fine with giving them at least the illusion of privacy for that. His attention turned to Val again.
"Anything you mind telling me? It seems like you've figured at least something out. Something about Seeker? Or what the heck is going on lately?" He asked her. "You seem like you're in the know right now, and the rest of us are all not sure what the hell is going on. About all we've got is the ability to strike at the obvious." He stated. "Anything you can tell us would be kind of helpful."

"Don't get excited." Val took a few steps back, giving this sudden family reunion some space. "It's only guesswork at this point. If I could interrogate an angel, then maybe I'd get somewhere..." She shook her head and pulled out a very heavy-looking book from... the inside of her cape, apparently. "There's an apocalypse-desiring cult out there. That is their symbol. The book says that that symbol may have deleterious effects on those who view it for long." She glanced the the two siblings, more specifically Leanne. "How long has she been out? I'm not going to rule out extreme coincidence, but it's strange that she woke up in the presence of that symbol..."
"Oh, uh, sorry about that..." Will looked up bashfully, eyes still puffy through his glasses. "Family reunion and all that jazz. ... What'd we miss?" As Will spoke, Leanne stood up and stared in the direction they had just come from. Her back turned to the others, she briefly glared in the direction of the symbol.
Rise, my witch...

Ranuen listened closely to Val, trying to take in each word. "Interrogate an Angel huh? Well, hang around and they might come back. A few members of our group seem to have gotten on their bad side, and we're pretty sure they'll be coming after them. You... seem like someone that can look after themselves. So you know. I'm sure you'll think of something. Just figured I'd pass that along for you to use or drop as you need to." He suggested. The talk of the cult.... "Huh. Apocalypse desiring cult?" Ranuen grinned a little. "Sound like a buncha morons, but that's fine. Finally. Something I can be good at." If the group needed some cultists to get chopped into sushi, Ranuen was the guy for the job. Of that he had no doubt.
"Their symbol huh..." Ranuen chanced a look back, but didn't let his gaze linger for long, heeding Val's warning. Hey. A quick glance wouldn't hurt, right? "Any idea of where they hole up? I can bring them their personal apocalypse early~" He suggested cheerfully, allowing his mood to shift slightly though, as Val asked about Leanne. "Not 100% sure but... awhile for sure." He acknowledged, looking over at Leanne stood up. "You doing alright Will?" Ranuen asked, missing Leanne's glare. "You want to handle the introductions then? Don't think we've been done the proper meet-and-greet with her awake for it." He commented.

The darkness will fall upon them soon enough. Now you must heed your friends.
"Who're you... Uhh, that's who are you, not whore..." Leanne turned around, seeing Will... Val (how long as she out?), and... someone she didn't recognize. "Oh, uh... hehehe... sorry 'bout that..." She looked at the three before her, nodding. "Uh, howdy! I'm Leanne Lowe, nice to meet ya!"
Hang on, something's not right. ... Or she's still getting used to being conscious again. Will gestured to Raunen. "This is Raunen. I'm sure you kinda know who Val is-"
"Your girlfriend?"
"No." "She is NOT my girlfriend!"
"Suuuuuuuuuuure." After side-eyeing those two, Leanne looked around. "So... what'd I miss when I was sleeping?"
"Well..."

”Nice to finally meet you, Leanne.” Ranuen replied. ”I hope that was a long restful nap for you. Will’s actually been acting responsible for once.” He added as a small jest at the guy. He let Will do the introductions, chuckling quietly at his flustered reaction to Val.
”Will you need more confidence~ Keep your chin up your chance will come around if you keep trying.” He added, just to mess with Will a little more, before addressing Leanne.
”Well, basically, I went to a graveyard with Percy, we befriended a huge Beast... also we’ve pissed off a group of angels who are gunning for our heads. And now Val here has started talking about an Apocalypse cult.”

"I, uh... Don't follow much. On any of that. Okay, that's a lie. I, uh... kinda know 'bout the beastie."
Do not let them know of me until I tell you, my witch...
"Just that... I saw it x amount of nights ago and fainted. I guess that just means I know it exists? Ehehehe...?" Well, at least Leanne as good at hiding the voice in her head? Or at least enough to keep everyone from asking too many questions. "Hey, Ramen, yeah? What'd it look like? The beast?" Strangely, the talk of angels didn't seem to phase her.
"Why does it always come to the stupid beast, what's so special about it?"

Ranuen twitched. "R-Ramen?" He exclaimed. It wasn't the worst he'd been called and he wasn't even upset, it just threw him for a loop. "But anyways I uhh... I gathered that after what we heard about you passing out, but... ahem." Ranuen tried to regather himself a bit. "How did Proto look huh?" He asked, pondering. "Well uhh... He kinda resembled a dragon. Sort of. Big long neck, and a huge starry mane. Both scales and fur, and huge big feathery wings." He explained. "Whole buncha colors though. I don't think he means us any harm though. He's mostly just unhappy with the angels." He commented, then glanced at Will.
"Proto is definitely powerful. He may... have abilities even he's not aware of though. Or maybe he is. It's hard to tell for sure."
