"Welp."
Tri stared out the open window, casting a comically blank expression at the middle distance, into which Percy was currently flying away. Poor kid had no idea what he was getting himself into. Sure, it must have felt nice to soar around on those majestic wings without an emaciated torso accompanying it, but there was still so much more to discover. So many twist and turns to unravel. So many mental scars to be etched.
"This could end badly," Tri stated nonchalantly as he sat down on the window sill. "It probably WILL end badly. But... the good kind of bad. Like The Room kind of bad. I mean, why not? The kid kinda looks like Tommy Wiseau." He smiled and shrugged to himself. "Probably should figure out why the hell this happened, but I guess there is some fun to be had in the meantime. Heheh... But seriously, I should probably let the nerd brigade know what's going on."
---------------------------
"Please. Before this day gets any weirder," Kelsey grumbled, stomping back out into the hallway upon reaching the right floor. She had nothing more to say until she reached Percy's hotel room and proceeded to pound her fist against the door. "Percy! Open up so I can stop you from doing something stupid!"

Dead silence. That's what was behind that door.
Will whistled as he walked up the stairs, weighed down by several bags. "Gah... hah... stupid staircase...If only there was... a faster way up..." Sighing, he placed the bags down, rubbing his shoulder. "Son of a whore." Oh well, at least he was on the right floor.
Hang on, who was that in front of their door? It's usually hard to tell from behind. "Uh... hello? Can I help you with something?"

"Alright, f*ck it! How strong am I now? Enough to kick this-?"
Before Kelsey could further contemplate causing grievous harm to the innocent door, the room's second resident appeared with a load of groceries. Though her nerves were no less rattled, she at least toned down the aggression in the taller blond's presence. "Oh. Will. Thank God. Is Percy around? I think we're both in serious trouble."

"Is Percy around? Uh, he might have left without telling me, but he either sleeps in until well past midday or wakes up before dawn." Will shrugged. Hang on, something's not right... "Er... what's with the red eyes? And the markings? Is... is there something I missed?"
Taking out his room key, Will unlocked the door, allowing Kelsey to enter. "Ladies first," he said. Once she was in, he followed behind her, setting the groceries down on a counter. "So, uh..." Let's get the eggs put away, we don't need to break them again. "... What's up? I'm listening, I just need to put groceries away..."

"It's kind of a weird story. I still don't have all the pieces of it myself," Kelsey sighed as Will opened the door, grabbing a few bags and carrying them in for courtesy's sake. "I'll catch you up on it once I know-"
It took ever shred of Kelsey's willpower not to drop the grocery bags on the floor the moment she stepped into the room. Immediately, she noticed the living room window hanging wide open, and beneath it, a series of shadows stretching across the floor, intricately, masterfully twisted to spell out a short, simple phrase:
SORRY. SUCKS TO SUCK.
A soon as she had read this in full, the shadows snapped back to their proper place and a cold wind swept through the room and out the window.
"TRI!!!" Once the bags were out of her hands, Kelsey bolted to the open window and stuck her head outside, her red eyes alight with fury. "TRI! PERCY! GET BACK HERE, YOU MORONS! I HOPE YOU LAND ON A LEGO BRICK!!!"

...
Oh.
Oh.
Thud. There went the heavy plastic jug of oil. "Ow," Will muttered, before looking up at Kelsey. "H-Hang on... you and Percy... switched demons?" He began walking over to where she stood, noting the open window. "... Is there something else I should be aware of, aside from a volatile mixture of personalities?"
And phenomenal eldritch power being in the hands of an illiterate moron.

"Rrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh..." Kelsey dropped to her knees and slumped atop the window sill, glaring out at the city with an expression less furious than it was simply aggravated. The day had only begun and she was already sick and tired of this crap.
At least Will seemed to understand the basic situation without her having to explain it. "Yes. I have no idea how or why, and neither does Imago."
She turned so she was facing Will, sitting down and leaning against the wall. "What else should you know? Well, besides being a potential danger to society under Tri's command, Percy is almost certainly at risk of being fatally poisoned by his archdemon aura. So yeah. Probably should stop him before he does something harmful to himself. Avoiding anything that would disturb the peace is probably impossible."

".... Blaurgh..."
Will pushed up his glasses and put his face in his palm to cushion the inevitable headache. Yep, there it is. Typical, he leaves for half and hour to get groceries and this happens. "... Okay. We need to find an unpredictable and secretly dying loon under the command of a bad influence. That's gonna suck." He shot Kelsey an apologetic look as he walked over to an old phone, spinning in a number.
"I... I'm gonna have to call Lark for this. I am so sorry about this. ... Okay, five, two... .... Hello? Hello? ... Shut up." Will blushed at something said on the other side. "Hang on, she's right here, she can explain! ... yes, it's Kelsey. How the hell did you know that?"
Groaning, Will handed the phone to Kelsey.

"This wild goose chase sucking is the least of my worries," Kelsey grumbled, picking herself up just so she could plop back down in a couch. Go figure. This day started out too well. Rarely did respite come to Kelsey without a crushing dose of cruel reality to follow. As if Tri wasn't a big enough handful on his own.
She idly watched Will as he called up Lark, opting not to protest if it meant they could save Percy from himself sooner. Nonetheless, Kelsey had to grimace a little as the phone was handed off to her. "Hello."

"Hel-lo there, sweetheart."
Will shot Kelsey an apologetic look, before going back to the kitchen to put away groceries. He figured Kelsey was going to have enough on her plate without him eavesdropping. Might as well give her some privacy, right?
"So, what did you call me up for? I am known to make light of serious matters, after all. Such as the one you are currently in. Insert complete lack of surprise from both of us here."

"Don't call me sweetheart," Kelsey grumbled. That was all she had to say regarding Lark's saccharine greeting.
Glaring at the wall, resting an elbow on the arm of the couch, Kelsey promptly got to the point. "We need help finding Percy. Somehow, he and I switched demons. Now he's run off and we need to get him under control before he kills himself with archdemon energy."

"Very well then, Kelsey. Or should I call you Mistress Page, Empress of the Nine Realms and Fifty Hells, or is that still not formal enough?"
Someone's having a bit too much fun, it seemed. "Okay, that sounds messy, and not in the type of messy I like. Hang on. I'll be there in a jiffy." And then, silence on the other end.
The space above the seat next to Kelsey shimmered for a moment, as Lark seemed to materialize from the shimmer. A notepad and pen were in his hands, and for some reason, he had what seemed to be a stocking tied around the top of his head. And yet, he acted as though this was normal. "So," Lark started. "How urgent is this, and would the negative effects wear off instantly if I put your demons back in the right body?"

"I don't even know what relevance any of those titles have," Kelsey bluntly responded.
She blankly stared at the phone once Lark went quiet, only to turn around and cast an equally vacant expression at the portal that briefly opened next to her, regarding the phenomenon with the same amount of shock and awe with which one watched a fly smack against a window. After hanging up and leaning back into the couch, Kelsey raised an eyebrow at the newly arrived Lark. A quote came to mind, but since Tri wasn't there to irritate her with pop culture references, she figured she may as well say it herself. "Son, you got a panty on your head."
After that, she took a deep breath, put on a serious look, and got back to business. "I don't know how long Percy will be able to withstand Tri's power, so yeah, I would say we need to find him asap. As for how soon the toxic effects will wear off, it usually takes an ordinary person about a week to recover from even brief exposure to an archdemon. Again, not sure how different it will be for Perce."

"Oh, this again. I should probably return this to Judy."
And now, back to business. "Well, keeping that idiot under wraps when we get him back is Will's problem. Now, we gotta focus on finding him. Fortunately, I know a thing about tracking spells. Now, if I were a hybrid of things that should not mix, where would I...?" Lark stood up, making his way to Percy's room...
"Bletch. Does this room ever get cleaned? And how often does this get used?"
With a crinkled nose, Lark exited the room, carrying a black tank top. "Okay. I can use this to find Percy. Okay, ancient gods of fire... tell me where I can find this moron."
Around Lark, a series of runes materialized, forming into a circle, glowing a pale green. In his free hand, a matching fireball formed, the white-haired man staring into it. "Hmm... uh... I see... uh... what the hell, it's usually a lot clearer, lines must be jammed today or-"
Okay that's not how this normally works and Lark should probably put out that fireball.

"Uh..." Kelsey warily raised a finger, unable to find a less awkward point at which to butt in. "Lark, one of Tri's powers is immunity to scrying and psychic interference. I don't think-"
FWOOM
"AH GEEZ...!"
A face-full of soot, charred carpet, a pounding headache, and a stocking on fire. That was what Lark received for his efforts.
