Physical Description
Hercules is a dark purple quadruped creature with a feline-like head, ear-like horns, and thick limbs. His body has several bright green stripes, and a long red mane runs across his body, turning into a tail in the back. As a demon, he possesses the general two-hooved toe structure. Hercules has four eyes with black sclera and light brown irises, the higher set acting as eyebrows.
Weapons and Accessories
Hercules has minimal need for a weapon due to his great physical strength, preferring to fight with his teeth and claws. Upon arrival, he has a crude communicator used for contacting his fellow demons.
Abilities/Powers
As a demon, Hercules has their standard abilities: The ability to travel through shadows as one himself, night vision, the ability to tear souls out of dying or recently-deceased individuals, the ability to consume souls to increase his own strength or heal, the ability to use demonic magic, and offering Fell Contracts. As an Ira-class demon, he can throw himself into a berserker rage, converting any damage he takes into further power. Hercules can also use both wind and non-elemental magic, dim or intensify his stripes, and possesses immense physical strength and stamina. His personal spell, Caution to the Wind, allows him to bestow a lesser form of his berserker power onto an ally for a short time.
Weaknesses
If Hercules's core, a chunk of sugilite, is removed, he will instantly die with no hope of revival. As a wind elemental, he's also vulnerable to fire attacks, and generally has a low resistance for non-wind/water magic. While in a berserker state, he becomes incapable of distinguishing friend from foe, and will ignore wounds that would lead to permanent damage unless snapped out of it.
Skills
Hercules is a regular workhorse, capable of displays of staggering stamina. He has trained himself to require very little sleep, and under the leadership of Salsu, he has been whipped into an elite soldier, whether by himself or with a unit. Strangely enough, and despite his lack of thumbs (or even hands), he's good at embroidery, oil painting, and sculpting.
Personality
Hercules is blunt and to-the-point, and will not hesitate to make his opinion known to even his superiors. If you annoy him, he will let you know you done fucked up. Conversely, if you impress him, he will tell you. He doesn't like most angels, and while he will not attack humans, his opinion on Homo sapiens isn't exactly much higher. Hercules enjoys a good fight, and despite his loyalty to his people, can get bored when his opponents are weak.
History
Hercules was the middle of three surviving siblings in a brood, and hatched several thousand years before the Undoing. Under the encouragement of his older brother, Imago, he became a soldier. . When the Undoing broke out, Hercules went out to fight for his king, but the family was split.
The youngest brother, Phausis, would side with the angels, which lead to a falling-out between Imago and Phausis. After the war, before the demons were to be sealed away, Imago got into a physical fight with Phausis, leaving his youngest brother with a nasty wound. However, Hercules followed Imago and the new queen, Malebolge, into the Inferno. Over the millennia, even as Hercules retired from active duty due to old age, he remained close with his brother.
But soon, he'd get his chance...
