This bio is outdated. For the current version, go here: mrsaturn123.proboards.com/thread/7586/evan-anders-rogue-hope
Full Name: Evan Thaddeus Anders
Nickname(s): Ev, the Keymaster, Locksmith
Age: 18
Height: 5' 10"-ish
Weight: Mid-hundred lbs.
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: Summer Snow Valley, USA
Franchise: Unusual Tales from Summer Snow Valley (Original Story)
Physical Description
Evan has a sort of this-is-the-only-outfit-I-have look. He wears a sleeveless grey hoodie, ripped stone-wash jeans and green converses, all of which usually have dirt somewhere on them. He is tall and somewhat lanky; he might seem thin, but he's stronger than he looks. His hair is black and messy, and his eyes are a deep brown.
Weapons
His primary tool of trade is the Paramount Key, which allows him to lock or unlock virtually anything; doors, gates, hearts, potential, answers... whether it be natural or ethereal, you name it, this key will fit it. Outside of that, he typically fights with his fists or any blunt/sharp object lying around.
Abilities/Powers
As the rightful heir to the Paramount Key, he has automatic knowledge of how to control its uses, and if it's in a close enough range, he can summon it into his hand. He can also talk to and understand his dog (though not any other animals).
Skills
As stated before, Evan is pretty strong despite his appearance. He's rather decent in a fist fight, can think on his feet and come up with strategies moments before he executes them. He also has intense concentration and is a hardcore gamer.
Personality
Evan's the kind of guy who requires some prodding before he gets motivated. At first glance, he's a lazy yet good-natured ragamuffin. Once he gets going, though, his fierce determination makes it nearly impossible for him to give up, no matter how broken or frustrated he is. All in all, Evan usually has his head in the right place and a strong moral compass; he's kind, well-spoken, and happy to help his friends.
History
Evan grew up in Marietta, Ohio, in a household on the brink of poverty; his father was always switching and/or losing jobs, his stay-at-home mother had Osteogenesis imperfecta, and Evan, being friendless and detached from his parents, had to learn how to fight in order to defend himself from bullies. When he was fifteen, he went on a road trip with his older sister, Jen, resulting in them crashing in an isolated part of the mountains. There they were attacked by rodents of unusual size before being rescued by a few denizens of Summer Snow Valley, a small, uncharted town on the border of Ohio and West Virginia. They let the duo stay in the town while their car was fixed, but over time, they both grew to enjoy the town's exciting nature and decided to stay.
During his stay, Evan met Carter the Bernese Mountain Dog, discovering that they could communicate with each other. Their connection signified Evan as the next heir to the Paramount Key, which Carter had been guarding at the time. Since then, Evan's ownership of the key has plunged him into countless conflicts and misadventures, particularly with the Præt'nos, a race of inter-dimensional shadow demons. But with the help of his friends and fellow Summer Snow citizens, Evan hasn't lost to them yet.
His most recent encounter with the Præt'nos, however, has left him separated from his friends and lost in a strange new world...
Other
Unbeknownst to Evan, he is a "Duplicate"; this means that there exists another version of him in another universe. Evan is also arachnophobic and against cursing.
For the record, ANYONE can use the Paramount Key; it's just that Evan is the only one who knows how to do it right.
