The beautiful Koi River, a lovely river that flowed through an emerald green forest. A blow of the wind later, Felix appeared along with Double D.
"Here we are... The Koi River," Felix said.
No one knew how the river was formed. Some said there was, and still is, a magical lake up north, but the actual road to it was trecherous and dangerous, filled with monsters and the such. (Ideas, ideas, ideas with me XD) Some said it was the work of a God. Others were scientific about it, but no one knew how it had been flowing for many years considering how rare water was in the Dimensional Void.

"Ah..." Double D was taken in by the lovely sight. "It... it's beautiful," he sighed raptly, taking Felix's hand.

"Hmmmmm, it is, isn't it?" Felix said, smiling softly, that mysterious warmth that only Double D could give him filling him up when he took the Fallen's hand.
(We're not about to have Masahiro cut in just yet... Gotta give them some time to enjoy themselves before everything is cut to an end.)

(of course! ^^ at some point I want to others to come in so they find out about them and they'll all help Felix heal Double D when he's hurt... unless you want to make this a close call and have him actually hurt Double D in a later thread)
Gently, Double D sat at the river's edge with Felix, gazing at all the fish with interest. "Wow... I've never seen so many fish in one place."

(Double D will be injured and Shinichi will jump in to save Double D at the last minute, when Masahiro is about to go for the kill. Shinichi will probably tell them in order to get them to help unless Raz does that.)
"People claim there's a magical lake from which it flows... Nobody logical could ever prove them wrong or right. The path against where the river flows is filled with terrible monsters and frightening nightmares... I planned to attempt it with... I planned to attempt it, but I never got the chance," Felix said.

Double D mused on this, when a playfully devious grin crossed his face. "Feeling daring to try it with me?"

Double D's grin faded. "...uh..." He blushed; he was not all so devious. It was just the way Felix made him feel... playful. "...o-only if you want to, no pressure, I just...!"

Double D took a moment to register his thoughts. Then a grin slowly waxed on his faced. "...ahhhh, you did! Haha, nice one, you had me going for a second there."

"Still... are you sure you're ready to try?" Felix asked. Now he was serious. He was a little worried about Double D's safety. Something didn't feel right.

The two hiked up the river for some distance. The trees and foliage grew thicker and darker the farther they went up.

"Things are getting scary now," Felix said. He looked to the side and a flashback of just recently with Masahiro hit his eyes. "Uggggh... The nightmares are beginning to start now."
