"Right," Masahiro said, then left with Sasha from Raz's mind.
"Eh... you made it," Felix said.
"Yes... and Raz will be fine. It really was Rip Van Winkle. She used Raz's soulname to control him and took his voice along with Schrodinger's using her weapon," Masahiro said.
"Don't remember that," Trevor said.
"Hey... so you now know Raz's soulname?" Shinichi asked.
"Ummm... yeah," Masahiro asked.
"Have anything breakable on you?" Shinichi asked.
"Why?"
"Curious."
Masahiro pulled out Schrodinger's voice vial. "This is it. Schrodinger's voice." He opened it and it went back to Schrodinger.
"... Damned Rip Van..."
"He's fine! Thank our lo..."
Masahiro didn't get to finish. Shinichi slammed on the head with the blunt end of his sword. "Sorry brother, but you're not that close to Raz, so I can't let you remember his soulname," he said to the now unconscious Masahiro.
"... He really is passionate about soulnames," Felix said, hiding behind Double D if he was there, Trevor if not.

"I can't blame him," Double D commented, kneeling down beside a fallen Raz as he began to awaken.
"....unh...."
"...Raz? Are you alright?"
".......y...yeah..." he croaked, voice still startchy.
"...good," he smiled. "Try not to move too much, Perceval is working on your wound."
So the youth was. Most of it was done, so Raz looked around to make sure everyone was okay. He spotted Skywise, who was cleaning his bloodied blade idly. The two made eye contact, and the elf paused.
"....er... sorry about that," he shrugged. "Nothing personal..."
"You did what you had to do," Raz assured. "...thanks."

Masahiro woke up. "Nnnnnn... what happened? My head feels like it's been split open," he said.
"Well I had to smash you on the head so you could forget Raz's soulname," Shinichi said.
"... But I don't even know it," Masahiro said.
"Of course you don't know," Shinichi said.
Masahiro sighed. "D-Does anyone have some... aspirin?"

"Right here," Fletcher handed some over. "How are you feeling, Razputin?"
"...like crap..."
"That's to be expected."
After Perceval finished up with his wound, Raz slowly stood, with the help of Ed and Fleetfoot helping him to his feet. Slowly, he dragged his gaze up to meet the couple's gazes... and his eyes began to well up, much to their surprise.
"....aw god..." he stammered. "....Felix... Double D... M-Marion... I..."

"Thanks," Masahiro said as he took the aspirin softly and took a couple of pills.
Felix saw Raz's eyes welling and he immediately knew what was coming. He placed his hand softly on Raz's head and smiled. "'Twas not your fault. She had an unfair advantage and a manipulative one at that, but she will not be bothering anyone else. You could not help yourself, so do not feel bad. Just calm down and get some rest..."
Then Felix gave Raz a soft kiss on the forehead.
"... Felix..."
"Yes Shinichi?"
"What the hell was that?!"
"... Masahiro."
"Yes?"
"... You forgot to fix Raz's defenses. Since I could not repair the damages with magic from my hands, I had to find a substitute."
"... I see... Forgive me for being careless upon leaving."
Shinichi sighed and shook his head. Clever bastard... He can get away with anything, can't he? he thought about Felix. "And are the defenses fixed?"
"Yes. If what Sasha says about them being the best are true, no one will be able to enter Raz's mind again now," Felix responded. "So please cut me some slack. It was just to the forehead and for business... The true stuff is reserved for Edward-chan only."
"Ok, we get it," Shinichi said, sweatdropping softly. I'm just worried about Marion will think, though she does consider Raz an uncle, which technically would mean she considers Raz Felix's brother.

Surprised, Raz looked at Felix oddly before rubbing his temple. His brain finally felt normal again.
"....ehe..." Raz grinned sheepishly, sniffling and rubbing his nose. "...thanks..."
Slowly, he turned away to return to his room, when...
"..R....Ras!"
He stopped short at his name, turning back to find Marion's in Double D's arms, moaning and reaching out for him.
Double D smiled. "...Would you mind a little company while you rest?"
"......no."
It was revertantly quiet as Double D placed his child in Raz's arms, to which she cried out happily and snuggled close to his warmth.

Felix smiled at the happiness before him. The fight was over, thankfully, and he would be hoping it could remain peaceful, just like this.
Masahiro looked at Felix, wondering if he earned his trust back from the angel he had hurt so long ago. He knew he had done wrong and he knew the road was going to be long and hard, but he planned on doing whatever it took to be liked again.
Shinichi... well... Let's just say things will never change sometimes. "Well... good thing we're doing fine again. I hope that bi... idiotic wench stays away from Raz for good," he said.

"So do I," Sasha agreed. "Please contact me again when something happens."
"Of course."
"Go on, Raz," Double D ushered them into their room. "Get your rest. Please."
"....kay."
Calmly, Raz took Marion into the room with him. He placed her on the bed, and she watched him get ready for bed as he started talking to her.
"...well.... I'm glad THAT'S over..."
Marion chirped up in agreement.
"Hmm?" Double D and Felix heard them behind the door.

Masahiro did not feel anything bad was going to happen, but after all that had happened today, and with Marion being his charge, Masahiro remained on guard.
Shinichi was also on high alert.
Felix was calm. He knew that Masahiro and Shinichi being on guard was part of their Guardian Angel instincts and he respected them for that, but he knew that everything would be ok... until he heard screaming, in which case he'd run in with a fire, air, water, earth, ice, lightning, and darkness dragon head sprouting from his back.

"Felix..." Double D wagged a finger to summon him closer to the door. "Listen, they're talking."
Tiredly, Raz flopped onto the bed, Marion cuddling close to him. He chuckled and held her close.
"Hehe..." His smile fell. "...y'know, Marion... I know it's not true, but... nowadays I feel like you're the only one who really, I dunno... notices me anymore."
Marion cocked her head cutely.
"I mean, everyone seems occupied with other stuff... Double D and Felix with you, Eddy with Nazz, Ed with Flee... sometimes I feel like... well, like I don't fit in." He sighed. "It gets lonely, y'know."
Almost sympathetically, Marion cuddled closer to him.
"...I miss Lili... a lot," he continued, his gaze a million miles away. "But she DID tell me we have an open relationship now, so we can date other people, so..." He sighed again. "...I wonder if I'll ever find anybody."
"...oh dear..." Double D glanced Felix's way. "...I never knew he felt that way."

"I... I feel horrible," Felix said, his face falling.
"Well sacrifices are usually made for such relationships. If you feel so bad, maybe you should just walk in and appologize," Shinichi said.
"Why don't you go be his friend, Shinichi? You're single," Masahiro said.
"I'm afraid of him getting the wrong idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a homophobe or anything, but I don't want the first words out of somebody in this atmosphere trying to be friends with them as I'm-not-gay-so-no or something like that," Shinichi said, sweatdropping.
"But that sounded very homophobic and Raz isn't like that," Masahiro said, sweatdropping.
"I'll go be friends with him if you admit to Per..."
"Shinichi, even remade, my purity has a certain limit to it." A cynical smile was on Masahiro's face at this. "Please don't push it."

"I'm not one to be hooked up to just anybody," Shinichi said, sweatdropping. "And it's not like anyone hooked up Masahiro and Per..."
"Shinichi," Masahiro said, dangling a weight over his head with a rope.
"Where did that come from?!" Felix squeaked.
"The author's tools to add humor to this situation, I guess," Shinichi said, twitching.

"There has to be something we can do to help him..." Double D sighed. "...I've been where he is right now, emotionally. Even if they don't hook up, as you say, he just needs a good friend."

"Funny. Shinichi seems like the type of guy who could handle being alone better then we ever could," Felix said. "He's the guy who commands authority, being a Centaurion after all, though he probably lost that rank after dying."
