Raz, however, subtly heard all of it. Though Rip's singing was getting on his nerves, he was glad for it.
All he had to do was let her take control...

To the rest of them, the voice was coming out of Raz's mouth, though it wasn't his own. His eyes weren't his own either. Both features were recognized by those who knew her.
"....is that...?" Double D gasped.

...but he never saw the small wood elf coming from underneath. He gaped as Skywise's sword went through his gut.
"EEEK! RAZ!" Several people gasped.
"NOW!"

Sasha was right behind him. They stumbled into the circus of Raz's mental world, encountering Rip with Raz helplessly at her feet.
"...release him," Sasha firmly demanded. "NOW."
