Yin clearly looked conflicted with such a notion. "But... Brother..." She turned to Yang, looking more then concerned. "Why would anyone want to steal from us? Especially something of such importance?"
"Most likely didn't know it's full worth..." His frown deepened into a scowl, that chilled the sanctuary. "And what punishment awaited him for stealing it..."
Otto shook his head pitifully. "Moron. Should've known better." He turned to Double D, "Go ahead; Setting him straight will mean one less thief in the world."
Yin frowned at this. "Well it is not enough for me!" The chill Yang brought along had disappeared, replaced by the room becoming much warmer and brighter then ever before. "I want to know his reasonings! This boy clearly has no idea that he has stolen from the Seraph's of Light and Darkness... And if he did, I want to know what would inspire him to do something so incredibly stupid!"
This caused a collective shiver to run down the spines of everyone present. "Wow..." Wally shivered. "I forgot how scary Yin gets when she's angry..."

"No kidding," Eddy quielty replied. Courage trembled slightly in Wally's arms.
"...alright, sounds fair." Double D nodded to Ed. "Put him down, Ed."
"You got it, Double D!" Ed released the zpe cloud, letting Waclay drop to the floor hard. Ed and Eddy quickly grabbed him by the arms as he got up, so he wouldn't get away. Double D crossed his arms firmly.
"Well? Explain yourself."

Waclay shook his head to regain the feeling in his head. He looked at the group, and as much as he hated to admit, he was outclassed by these people.
'Grrr.... I can't believe I'm-a gonna go through with-a this...' Waclay thought as he got ready to tell his story.
"Ok, I'll-a tell you! Me and my-a brothers are treasure hunters. Before-a these creepy bugs destroyed-a the castle we built-a to store our treasure, we-a were the greatest heroes around!" Waclay boasted in an effort to get the people to believe him.
When Waclay saw they didn't buy the idea of him being a hero, he growled and said, "Ok ok, me-a and my brothers just love money! We'll do-a anything to get it!"
Everyone glared at Waclay due to his confession. Waclay then said, "But-a we lost-a everything to these damned bugs-a which devoured our castle and our gold! My brothers are-a back on the island. I left them-a to see if I could-a find something to rebuiled-a our lost treasure hoard, and-a with it our castle! And THAT'S the truth!"

Otto took this in. "Sounds to me, he's nothing more then a greedy bag of hot air."
"No... He's nothing but dirt." Yang corrected. "Thinking he can just steal something of great value and then sell it to the highest bidder." He leaned down and flashed the Holy Grail in front of Waclay's face. "Listen here punk, do you know WHY I protect this grail? Well allow me to enlighten you." He gives him an icy glare which sends shivers up and down Waclay's spine.
In Yang's eyes, Waclay could almost see reflections of the most horrible things imaginable; Torture beyond human comprehension, wars of unimaginable loss, the Genacide of people he had never seen and, quite possibly, could never see again... It was like Yang had seen it all, and was giving him a small preview of just what he could do, every last horrible bit of it. "Because this object is priceless, not in worth, but in moral." His frown narrowed, as did his eyes. "When this treasure was unguarded it was almost destroyed by mortal hands. This; a priceless treasure of unimaginable worth! They, and YOU, could never understand it's truest worth, the only reason you want this is monetary gain."
Yin appeared uncomfortable at Yang's rising voice. "If I had let you go with this goblet what would you have done. You would've sent it off to it's doom." His eyes narrowed more, everything past the sockets turning blood red mixed with shadows. [shadow=red,left,300]"WHICH IS WHY I WILL NEVER ALLOW IT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT."[/shadow]
He snarled and pulled the goblet away. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must wash this in the Fountain room, to rid it of it's mortal stench. The stench he has left on this is more foul then any other I have smelled." And with that, he was gone; disappeared with a quick blaze of black fire.

"...yeesh." Eddy concluded. Courage sighed in relief after he left, curled up fearfully in Wally's arms.
"He certainly knows how to leave a lasting impression," Double D noted offhandedly to Yin.

Yin chuckled a little. "He has a flair for doing as such..."
Having said that, she turned to Waclay, taking him in. Her face was flat and emotionless. "What do you think we should do with him, kupo?" Marco wondered, rubbing his chin.

"Back off-a fuzzball! I just-a want to get back what-a belongs to my brothers and I!" Waclay snarled at the Moogle when Marco finished his statement.
"This whole mess is-a lot worse than-a that black jewel! When I get my hands-a on those damned insects, they're-a gonna wish they never spawned!!!!!!!"

"Would you please calm down?" Double D tried to approach him calmly, hands on his hips. "I can understand your loss, but that gives you no right to steal from others. And you should be grateful you and your brothers managed to escape in time with your lives. Maybe this is a sign to give up your greedy ways."

Marco flinched at the yell, before considering this. "Kupo, you can't possibly get back what you lost, if you rob from the wrong people." He gave the boy a straight face as he pulled out his hand cannon 'Rocket Punch' from his jacket. "Where I come from, if you robbed someplace you'd have to deal with people who carried very tough weapons like this. Not only that, but they know how to use it, and some people are even keen on using them as much as possible."
Waclay's glare only made it clear he wasn't afraid. After a moment, Marco set down the Rocket Punch and thought a moment. "Still what to do..."
"Oh I know!"
Everyone turned to Yin quickly. "There's no reason to punish this child, he merely wishes to regain his riches... So... How about he becomes a bounty hunter?"

"What kind of bounty hunter would this guy make, though?" Eddy asked skeptically.

Waclay stroked his gotee in thought. He'd much rather loot abandoned palaces of their treasure personally.
"Wall...my brothers and I-a will do anything for money. We-a even have our own-a video game company where we came-a from! Wario founded it-a with some of our money made-a from years of raiding pirate fortresses and-a anceitn temples. Boy-a, Wario was certainly-a pissed when he lost-a Wario Ware."
Waclay then remembered these people were actually going to help him and decided to get to the point. "Anyway, my brothers are-a back on-a the island. We work-a better as a team. If you want-a to have me do a good deed-a first bring my brothers-a here then, name a good price for our-a services."

(well crap XD Saturn controls Wario and he hardly comes on anymore. XD I'll get in contact with him and see what'll happen on that front. At least Waluigi is up for grabs)
"Well, alright, makes sense," Double D continued to muse. "..although we have no targets in mind, really..."
"Oh, yes we do."
Double D frowned inwardly at Eddy. "We're not sending them after Lucifer, Eddy. Only the angels at home have a chance at besting him."

Marco looked at the Ed's as if they were crazy. "Lucifer you say?"
Otto and Wally looked at them no differently... However, Wally shrugged, "Might as well forget it." He turned to Otto, still holding Courage in his arms. "Well mate, what should we do then?" He scratched the back of his head, "I don't think we should return to that old Inn we were staying at, don't you think?"
Otto nodded, "You're right in assuming that." He looked to the Eds, "Listen; I'm sure you're no doubt aware of the reputation the Industrial District has; Until today, we've lived peacefully in the district. But when word gets out about how me and Wally assisted in Mojo's defeat, I have no doubt villains will try to hunt us down should we stay." A smirk crossed his features, "Course I have no fear of these morons; I just figure a safer home wouldn't be too much to ask." He crossed his arms, "Care to give us a hand?"

Waclay looked as if he could care less about Otto and Wally's situation. He then said, "I'll-a need a ride out of here-a myself. But Wario and Waluigi will-a be a bit peeved when-a I come back-a without gold. Do you know of any-a treasure in the area?"

"Ooh! You could get an apartment in Void City!" Ed spoke up cheerfully. "We live in a big apartment complex there! I bet there's room!"
Double D nodded in agreement. "It's an ideal location to stay. And Void City is in the center of the island, so you'll have easier access to the other areas if you need it." Hearing Waclay speak up, he sighed. After hearing his tale, he couldn't help but have a little sympathy for the guy. "Let's see..." Remembering something, he chuckled ironically. "Actually, now that I think of it, I remember at the beginning of this entire sequence how we were discussing the discovery of ancient caves out West. There HAVE been rumors of treasure... if you're willing to brave the cave's dangers, of course."
