Just as the attack hit the house, the possessed teen flew out of the way, with the attack just barely singing his wings. It was a good thing he was so fast, otherwise he would have been toast. He looked back. [shadow=purple,left,300]"Fine then. I'll deal with all of you later. I have business to attend to."[/shadow]
Hoping to escape Hades and Hermia, Kid flew off into the sky, leaving only a few feathers.

Spyro, who had gotten clear set Yui on the ground, after the beam hit, spyro was worried for his friend, till Moon popped out of a shadow looking scared. "Too close."

Hades saw the house was about to collapse. It was likely a good thing much of the demonic realm was covered in fire. Although it had been many millenia since he'd set foot there. He shot out of the building just as the walls collapsed in on themselves. He hovered in the air and turned to Chris, "Chris, make sure she doesn't do anything stupid!" before flapping his wings again and taking after Kid. An aerial battle would serve him better. If he could damage the shoes, Kid would fall to his death.
Chris jumped back as the house collapsed, but nodded towards Hades. He was thinking more along the lines of "easier said then done" - Hermia was still conscious and it was only her exhaustion that prevented her ability to take full dominance. Chris sighed and looked around, spotting a bit of red fabric in a nearby tree. He walked over and jumped up and yanked it down, it was a red zipper hoodie. He began putting it on when he realized some of the people still there were staring at him.
"What?" It was meant to imply what exactly. The group probably had questions about the situation. For the millionth time in the past six months he mentally kicked himself for agreeing to that dare...

When Misty saw Ultima's beam coming, their was little she could do but gape at it. "He DIDN'T..!!!"
However she was proved wrong when the beam collided with the house, ripping a huge hole into the cieling. The whole island shook ever so slightly, hardly anyone would notice this small shake, but those at the site of where it happened would feel it the worst. After a few seconds...
Their was a loud BOOM.
Strangely enough, the beam didn't affect the house at all, the explosion merely stretched out a few feet around it, before it returned to it's point of origin and suddenly disappeared... ... ...
The force of the energy however, had been enough for the house to finally collapse in on itself, the walls falling down with a loud thud, before the fire continued raging.
From where he sat on the ground, catching his breath, Gantz looked at the house a moment, he barely registered Hades giving chase to Kid, and barely registered the fire that was warming this cold night.
His attention was turned on Yui, whom he was examining closely. "He's alright... He's gonna be alright..." He said, relieved. Despite how much he had lost today; his lab equiptment, personal possessions, everything in between... No-one had died. Misty was sitting next to him, examining Yui just as closely.
"Well... Now what?" She asked, looking at the boy closely. "You're house is in shambles."
"Not necessarily."
This answer came as a surprise to Misty and some of the others. "Before this house, I lived in an old mansion near the edge of the Church district. It's old, decrepit, close to falling apart; but with my help and fixing up, it holds strong now." He smiled at Misty before slipping on his sunglasses once more. "We can go there to rest after this whole fiasco."

"Kid? Oh, right. Going nuts as far as I can tell. If he's not careful Hades'll behead him..." Chris muttered, "As for Chaos, it's kind of hard to describe. I guess the simplest would be a manifestation of all the world's evils. You're Spyro, correct? Good lord I've been running into a lot of video game characters lately..."
Chris zipped up his hoodie and turned towards the group, extending his hand towards the group in general, not really expecting anyone to shake it, "My name's Chris and I'm stuck in this situation cause I followed the dare of some idiots back home."

"Ah! A fellow video game enthusiast!" Gantz's hand found Chris' and he shook it heartily. "Nice to meet you, Chris! The name's Gantz." After seperating their hands, the boy put his hands behind his head, in a laid back postition. "I'm the guy that owned that... uh... Piece of Real Estate before it burned down." He pointed to the still burning remains of the house. "Kind of a bummer, but I can move on."
Shaking his head, he turned his attention back on Yui, trying to figure out a way to fix him up. Misty sighed a little before turning to Chris. "Please excuse him, this doll became one of his good friends, he's just concerned about him."

Chris was surprised at Gantz shake, and quickly shook his head, "Not that much, actually. I only played the first Spyro game," he looked towards Moon, "You must have shown up later on then. I heard the games got kind of overpopulated at some point. Something about restarting the franchise at some point too."
Chris glanced towards Yui. He'd seen crazier things, but it looked like a doll, "I wish I could help. I'm pre-med for humans, not... um, dolls?" He wasn't really sure what Yui was. Somehow he thought referring to it as a Pinocchio wannabe would be an insult, but that is what went through his head first.

If Gantz knew that a Pinocchio crack was what Chris was going to make before changing his mind, he would've been thankful that he didn't throw it out. "It's no problem." Gantz rubbed his chin a little bit as he looked around Yui's form. "He must've run out of energy or something..." A wince came to everyone's eyes, as Gantz seemed to shake a little. "D-don't worry, summoning Espers usually takes a lot of magic... I just need to rest for a while, and I'll be okay."
"That stunt you pulled back there is to blame in otherwords." Misty gave the boy a stern glare. "Why didn't you try something more energy efficient? You know you tire out summoning espers!"
A stern glare was what she got back, "Just be thankful I didn't summon Zodiark, his power would've not only took care of Chaos in that guy's body, but also anyone else in range of the battle field." Sighing, he turned to Yui. What could he do?.. ... ... ... ...
It was right then that he finally saw and remembered Yui's wind-up key. "Misty." The girl gave him a curious look. "Hold Yui up. Let's see if we can get a response when I turn his wind up key."
And thus started the process of turning the key, round and round and round it went... Would it work? Only time would tell.

After a couple of turns, the wind-up key shuddered, and began to slowly turn back in the other direction again. The movement was so slow that it would be hard to notice. Most importantly, Yui seemed to be awake again, though he didn't look like he could move still.
"...Did we win?" Yui asked innocently. He squinted at Gantz's face, trying to make it out. "...Creator?"

Chris looked really confused. Something told him some of the student's at his college would have far more a clue what was going on. Probably be having more of a blast in this world, too.
As it was, there wasn't much more he could do here. But he didn't feel comfortable letting Hermia out. Although if he fought it much more they'd split.
"Oh, it looks like he's okay," he commented about Yui. However, he had a more pressing issue come to mind, "Uh, Gantz you said? What was that energy you were putting off earlier? You merged with a high ranking angel or something? You two codependent?"
Chris made the error or applying the rules of his world to Gantz. And it was likely he'd get an off question as well. In his world, codependant with a force such as an angel meant both the human and angel involved had to be merged with an angel and human respectively to even be alive. Breaking apart without someone to jump to meant death...

At first, Gantz was a little put off at the fact that Yui had mistakened him for this 'creator' guy... "Uhhh... No Yui. It's me, Gantz. Remember?" He thought long and hard about this for a moment before his attention caught back on to the broken glass eye...
"Oh, of course!" He slapped a fist into his open hand, before bringing said hand back up to rub his chin. "You're half blind... That explains why that security program or whatever that was earlier mistakened me for your creator... Hmmm... We're REALLY gonna need to replace that eye of yours sometime in the near future then... No telling when you'll start mistaking someone dangerous, like Eriol for example, for a friend."
BUUUUUUUT, pushing that 'Doctor Gantz' moment out of the way...
He turned back to Chris when that question was dropped, smiling smugly to himself. "Weeeell... It's something like that yes."
"And when did you plan on telling us?" Misty's cold remark pierced through the cold night air, but Gantz remained unaffected... Well, he looked it anyways.
"Aaaah, sooner or later. Heck, let's go ahead an make it sooner... Namely now." Gantz said, continuing his calm facade. He held up his index finger to Chris. "Just give me one second." That was the last thing said before he closed his eyes, and some of the more magical based characters on scene could feel him focusing his energy...
A bright flash emanated from the 'Mark of the Oath' on Gantz's right wrist, bluish green in color like a crystal, all holy in origin. Then Gantz opened his eyes... Revealing them to be glowing the same color and at the same brightness as the mark. "What is it now Gantz?" Came the impatient tone of Soul, whom seemed rather annoyed, possibly surprising Chris that the female voice echoed out of the body as the mouth moved in unison to the words. "And here I thought you just developed a sudden habit of ignoring everything I suggest."
"Well excuse me, for thinking I could save my house and everyone inside it." With that said, everyone then felt Gantz's energy right beside Soul's inside the body, as if it was a shell for two distinct figures. Both of them seemed to have equal control over it. "Moving on... Guys, this girl I'm cooped up with, you'll possibly remember her as the 'Miracle sword' known to inhabit nearly all myths of Medieval culture. Her name is Soul Calibur."
The spirit of the Miracle Sword lightly bowed, just to be polite. "Charmed, I suppose."

Yui waved weakly to Gantz/Soul Calibur, not wanting to damage his joints any further. This was actually not the worst he'd damaged himself before, but at the moment, he didnt' know he could fix it... Before, he'd at least had all of his clockwork still attached to his body.
