Their blasts hit, but BM's was stronger. Gonard rolled out of the ring and fired a few blasts at BM, followed by throwing the laser itself BM. Gonard then started running. Lloyd stood in between Gonard and BM with his swords ready to fight.

Black Mage dodged and lunged at Gonard with his foot drawn forward. "GOBLIN PUNCH!" He was aiming for Gonards, ahem, "private" area.

Lloyd grabbed BM's other foot from behind him. Gonard still ran.

It hit Lloyd's hand and he let go, but it stopped the momentum of BM. Gonard was already far enough to escape.

Badness fired his hand-laser at Gonard. "Get back here right now, you Blueman-Group reject!" He ordered.

"What," Lloyd asked as he threw a sword, blocking the way of the laser.

"You won't get away that easily," said Black Mage as he raised his hands into the air. "METEO!"
Meteors started raining down on the city. Several people died due to blunt trauma.

"Ooooooh!" A few meteors struck Ed, but due to his Super Healing, he didn't even notice them as he watched the battle. "Cooool..."

"Oh my god!" screamed a bystander "Save the children! screamed another. "Mommy!" Meteors continued to pour from the sky.

"Wow, you are really stupid," Lloyd said as he avoided the meteors with his swords.
Unfortunately, one of them hit the swords and broke them.
"Oh my god, you killed me swords, you bastard," Lloyd said.
Gonard was long gone.
