As if that was why he was sleeping in a boiler room... don't make being homeless sound so riteous...

"Boiler rooms have nothing on Hell... I'm afraid to say that, unless you make it to the absolute lowest pit ever, you're going to be very, very hot," Masahiro said. "And if you make it to the lowest... it's actual the coldest place in existance, believe it or not."
"Because Hell's not on Earth. It's a seperate dimension, like Heaven, which is not above the stars," Felix muttered.

"Ohhhh, THAT'S how it worked!" Ed cried. "I always thought space was above, like, heaven, or whatever."
"Different dimension... makes sense to me," Raz nodded, looking around. "Oh... guess Double D went in his room."
Indeed, he did. Though he was too anxious to rest like he said before. He busied himself by staring at himself in the mirror, examining his odd, terrifying features. Experimentally, he brought his wings out, and strangely, they were unchanged. He internally hoped they stayed that way.

"Well, being the Angel of Light won't be a walk in the park," Fleetfoot noted. "I mean, sure, we'll have a potent weapon against the forces of darkness..."
"...which will make him quite the target," Skywise finished. "From those who will either want him dead and out of the way, or those who will want his power." A pause. "...sorry for being so blunt about it."

"Probably not off the back, but he'll learn in due time. He's still quite young though, and he is a mortal angel. Once he becomes a true angel, eternity is open to him. Despite our appearences, I am somewhat old... and Felix is even older. He was around when Lucifer was still in angel in God's servitude.. Except for murder and the destruction of the spirit, we are eternal," Masahiro said.

"Ooh, yeah..." Raz nodded in agreement. "I heard how tough that is, for immortals, watching everybody age around them, having all their friends die before them... heavy stuff."
"......" Neither Ed nor Eddy said anything. It was an unnerving thought. Thank goodness Double D wasn't in the room to hear it; one less thing for him to worry about for the moment.

"Angels can move on to where there friends are. Let's not forget... we're already denizens of Heaven," Masahiro said. "When the time comes that you all die and we've no more reason to be on Earth, we can rejoin you as regular angels... denizens of Heaven once more."
