The appearing and vanishing of portals continued as always in the Interdimensional Travel Station. People were deposited, most seemingly against their well, and there were quite a few jumping into the portals presumably to appear elsewhere.
A portal appeared about a foot off the ground and a young woman was rudely spit out. She flailed all the way down as if she had been falling and impacted a bit painfully on the ground. She rubbed her tailbone a few times.
She was actually one of the more normal arrivals the Island was known to get. Her most distinguishing feature were the hot pink bangs that cupped her face, and they were just faded enough to reveal that they weren't her natural hair color.
A belt at her waist had six oddly shaped balls which would quite obviously be pokeballs or monster balls depending on what country the person knew the Pocket Monsters franchise from. Three looked like traditional fishing lures with a red top half and a white bottom half, two looked like modifications with a blue top half and a white bottom half, and one seemed pretty uniform in color, just two different shades of green. The tops of all of them were semi-transparent and a really close look could reveal something was inside of them.
Prue stood up, making sure to adjust the large tote bag on her shoulder. This place wasn't Spear Pillar by any definition of the word. The crowd alone revealed that. She remembered seeing an aggravated Palkia and it didn't take her long to put two and two together. It was pretty obvious Palkia had kicked her to some other dimension. It was rumored to have power of space after all.
"But how exactly am I supposed to get back...?" The woman looked around. She couldn't see anyone that screamed trainer to her and everyone seemed pretty involved in what they were doing.
She began walking forward, trying to find some kind of posted area map. There were all sorts of "people" here, many of which looked more like monster than human. Monsters she'd never seen nor heard of. Well, the rumors about activity on Spear Pillar had been true, in any case.

About that time, a very disgruntled looking fisherman walked past, mumbling something about "bloody wankers", which could be anything. Finally, he walked up to someone he just saw pop out of a portal. "Hey, did you see this woman go past here?" he asked, holding up a wanted poster of a blond haired woman wearing a pearl necklace. "And if she did, did she go through any portals?"

Prue jumped and had to grab ahold of a pole to not fall down. She turned to the man. He looked like he had been on the wrong end of a fight with a fishing pole. She looked at the picture and realized what had been asked.
"Uh.. no? Portals? Does that mean Palkia's causing problems here too? And where is here?"
She felt like a royal idiot. She didn't even know if the guy was friendly and she had just admitted to being clueless to just about anything. She smiled to try and show she was harmless. Which she really was, especially with none of her team out. The smile was also geniune, even with the ulterior motives.

He firmly placed his hand to his face in a move more commonly known as the facepalm. "Obviously not. Bloody wankers." Clive finally said. "Well, since you obviously have no idea where the bloody hell you are, welcome to this hellhole known as the Dimensional Island. Basically, it's an island floating in the middle of dimensions that can be travelled to through portals in various dimensions. And it looks like you just somehow made it over here. How lovely."

Prue scratched the back of her head, "Yeah, Palkia was on a bit of a rampage and sucked me in here. I think something was bothering it... Oh, right!"
Prue stuck her hand in one of her pants pockets and pulled out what looked like an overly complicated PDA type thing. She flipped it open and used her finger to rotate a button on the side. It had the same design as the red and white things at her waist.
"Oh good! It says I've seen it!"
The woman appeared to have gone into her own little world.

Clive sighed a sigh of relief. "Oh, good, then that means that wanker's still on the island. Wait..." He looked between Prue and the Pokedex several times. "Oi. Can that thing track people too?" He asked.

Prue looked up, "Uh, no. Doesn't really track Pokemon either, just gives their native habitats. And I doubt that'd be useful since we aren't in Sinnoh."
Prue closed the Pokedex and stuck it in her pocket, "What'd she do that's got a PI tracking her? She with Team Galactic? Wait, that doesn't make sense if this isn't Sinnoh..."
Prue trailed off, she was feeling very lost at the moment. A thought occured to her and it was written all over her face despite her attempts to hide it. She had a Pokemon that could track quite well... when he listened to her.

"No. She's a dangerous monster that can take the form of a human and recently aided in the slaughter of countless innocents," Clive said, his face practically seething with anger. In fact, the thought had made him so angry he was oblivious to the look on Prue's face.

Prue's skin lost several shades of color. Maniacs like that were extremely rare where she came from. Even the worst nutcases seemed to operate more on mind than actual killing. Monster, he had said? What Pokemon in their right mind would go on a killing spree. Sure, some of them might send people comatose... but killing?
"Ah... g-good luck?" words weren't coming out clearly amd Prue suddenly wanted to be somewhere else. What kind of place was this "Dimension Island"?

"Yeah, I'm gonna need it--" He glanced down to the Pokeballs at her waist. "Say, what kinda Pokemon you got?"

The man had said that this was a seperate reality, but when she heard that he knew what Pokemon were she beamed.
"My main team! Her, her, and her are Sora my Pachi, Zelda my Gardevoir, and Marina my Marill," she pointed to the three pokeballs on her waist. They were all on the left side.
"This is my Chao, my Mismagius," she indicated a Dusk Ball closest to the belt buckle on her right side, "And these two are my Cubone, Skeletor and my Houndoom, Akuma." she indicated two Great Balls past the Dusk Ball.
"Does that mean you're from somewhere in my world? Oh wait, I guess it would make sense that other worlds have Pokemon too, huh?"

Clive facepalmed again. "No. Television. Watch it some time." Thinking about the Pokemon Prue mentioned, he thought over those.
"Houndoom's some sort of Dog Pokemon, right?" Clive asked. "Can it follow scents?"

Prue paused. Television? She wasn't sure how that worked, why would a world that didn't have Pokemon show them on the television?
She heard the man mention Houndoom and paled a bit. It was a wonder she hadn't passed out from lack of blood flow, "Yeah... well... he isn't exactly obedient..."

Clive shifted his fishing pole. "If he doesn't listen, then I'll make him listen. This here's a battle-pole, girl. I use it for the slaying of demons, monsters, and crazy bats alike. And I can use it to put that Pokemon of yours under control."

(OOC: Despite the magic of the island, Prue's Pokemon talk "normally". So unless Clive can talk to animals he won't be able to understand Akuma. I placed the translation there just in case.)
"Uh... okay... just don't hurt him, alright?" Prue's tone of voice was not encouraging.
She grabbed the Great Ball closest to her back on her right side and pressed the button. In a flash of light an annoyed looking Houndoom appeared. It whirled around to face Prue but stopped halfway there. It looked at Clive for a few moments and seemed to calm down. Prue stared at Akuma, her jaw literally gaping.
"Doom..." muttered Akuma ("He's obviously stronger than you are..." muttered Akuma, at least to those who could understand Pokemon.)
