Zelda and Prue blipped into the area, and Zelda collapsed against a wall. Prue thanked the Gardevoir, who was obviously exhausted, and pulled out her pokeball. Akuma skidded to a stop next to Clive and sniffed the air. He was not planning on attacking the woman until he figured out what exactly she was.
Of course this was a delay in any attack he might do, giving the woman an opportunity. It wasn't very characteristic for Akuma... but he had never run into anything he was this unsure about.
Prue ran over to the alley after drawing in Zelda, but made sure to keep herself behind Clive. She wanted to tell Akuma to be careful, but she didn't want to distract him.
(OOC: Akuma just performed Odor Sleuth. He'll be able to get a general idea of what the woman is. The original attack "identifies" ghost-types, allowing normally useless normal and fighting types to hit them. In case of actual use, I argue it can also identify WHAT the target is. Although since Akuma's never met a doppelganger, it might not work as well. Since she's your character I suggest you decide what he learns. :3)

The Odor Sleuth attack revealed a vaguely human creature, but it was constantly shifting. There was something vaguely unknown, something monstrous behind that form, and most importantly, something very, very evil. This was no Ghost-type. This was a pure monster.
"Ms. Dopple, you're coming with me. As a defender of justice, I can't let a murder like you walk free," Clive said. He stepped forward and pointed his fishing pole at her.
"Oh really? And what would you do if I told you I wasn't the real Ms. Dopple?" the blond haired woman asked.

Prue was still huddling behind Clive. She had met maniacs before, such as the leader of Team Galactic. Once. And this woman scared here more than Cyrus ever had.
Akuma began growling. Not a ghost type, not human, not natural. He didn't care about the creature's comments. Something like that shouldn't be allowed to exist. He opened his mouth and sent a Flamethrower her way. If Clive wasn't going to go all out and attack her, Akuma would.
Prue caught Akuma's attack beginning but there wasn't enough time for her to shout any warnings.

The blond haired woman willingly let the Flamethrower hit her. The burns from taking the attack head on quickly healed and her singed hair quickly regrew. There was something clearly unnatural about this woman
"Sorry, but unless you can somehow slice my body into many pieces, there's no way you can defeat me. And I repeat: 'What if I wasn't the real Ms. Dopple?'" the blond haired woman asked.
"Well, you're obviously her," Clive said. "I mean, you look like the bloody wanted poster!"
"Oh really?" the blond haired woman asked. She chuckled. And then her features began to shift. Her hair suddenly put itself up into a bun, she "grew" glasses and a labcoat, and her eyes turned green.

The first thing that came to Prue's mind was, "psychotic Ditto". But she quickly passed that off, Dittos couldn't speak. And a Flamethrower would have done more permanant
Akuma took a step back. Time for more drastic measures. If one single attack couldn't work... he leapt at the woman and all five of Prue's pokeballs glowed.
(OOC: Akuma is peforming "Beat Up". Basically it'll mean she gets hit six times with each of Prue's Pokemon. Sora/the Pachi's attack would be weak, Akuma's would be strong, Skeletor/the Cubone's attack would be normal, Zelda's attack would be weak (cause she's tired), Marina/the Marill's attack would be normal, and Chao/the Mismagius' attack would be strong. Its not gonna cut her up but it'll do more damage than Flamethrower. Akuma's too stubborn for his own good.
She could feasibly swat Akuma away before all the attacks were done (the speed would probably allow at least two), and its not Prue's Pokemon actually attacking. Its just Akuma gets a single attack for each member of the team and the strength is based on each member's power. I had to figure out how to fudge it to work outside of Pokemon. XD
If you want to cut off the attack prematurely, they would attack in this order: Akuma, Skeletor, Chao, Zelda, Marina, Sora - following the order from Akuma's Pokeball to Sora's)

Ms. Mirror found herself being hit by six different attacks, being unable to defend herself this time. While she was stunned, Clive moved in for the kill and cut her legs out from under her using the blade-hook. The woman fell to the ground.
"I need to stop giving my enemies hints..." Ms. Mirror commented. Clive kicked her legs away, sensing that she might be able to regenerate them if they're close enough.
"Alright, talk! Who the bloody hell are you!?" Clive yelled. Ms. Mirror began to chuckle.
"I'm a doppelganger: a shapeshifting monster. That's what I am..." Ms. Mirror said.

Prue grabbed the side of the alleyway. She felt dizzy. People weren't supposed to get their legs cut off and act as if nothing happened. Akuma seemed to take Clive's meaning and jumped in front of the legs. He glared at the creature in a way that all but dared her to try and crawl towards them.
"W... uh... wuh-wha... I mean..." Prue couldn't from words. She wanted to ask what the woman meant.
"Doom.... Houndoom. Hou Hound Doom." Akuma said, fully aware that the woman couldn't understand him. ("Doppelganger... Don't pull that crap on me, I've fought shapeshifting creatures. You are a lot more than that.")

Miraculously, Ms. Mirror seemed to be able to understand Akuma.
"Oh, but it's the truth, Houndoom. We are a race of superior beings. We impersonate other people as a means to an end. I honestly don't see why you're so surprised, though," Ms. Mirror said. Clive pointed the fishing pole right at her head.
"Don't give me that crap. Just tell me where Ms. Dopple is!" he yelled.
"My sister? Ah, yes, she wanted me to pretend to be her while she ran off somewhere," Ms. Mirror said.
"Don't give me that crap! Where the bloody hell is she!?" Clive yelled even louder. Ms. Mirror broke out into a horrible laugh.
"As if I'd tell you!"

Being truly surprised was rare for Akuma, who probably had more situational awareness than the rest of Prue's team. The only members that came close were Chao and Zelda. But this managed it.
Prue was still too confused to make coherent thoughts. Every time she tried to look at the woman, she'd see the legs and feel like throwing up. No wonder Akuma hated her.
"Hound....? Doom!" growled Akuma, having recovered enough to speak again. ("Superior...? Just cocky!")
Prue didn't want to see the woman killed. Not that she was sure it was even possible with the way she lay in two pieces. Her mind cleared up as a thought occured to her.
"Have you been bothering Palkia?" That, after all, could explain why it had so randomly sent her to another dimension.

"Palkia? Oh yes, that's one of the gods of your dimension, isn't it? You're from the same dimension I was stationed in earlier, aren't you?" She chuckled. "Yes, I suppose I had been bothering him. Or rather, I wasn't, but my 'boss' was. It had been rather easy to manipulate that zombie man into wanting to destroy the universe."
She tried sitting up, but Clive forced her to the ground again by pointing his fishing pole at her head too.
"Of course, I had to disguise myself as his lead scientist to do so, but it wasn't hard... unlike other doppelgangers, I actually care about learning about human things." Ms. Mirror finally finished.

Prue's mind wasn't up to realizing Mirror meant she had diguised herself as Charon to trick Cyrus. Even if it had been, she wouldn't have accepted it. She had heard about the occurance on Spear Pillar, but some people had taken care of it. That's why it had struck her as odd things had begun to occur again. Cyrus had vanished as far as anyone knew and was presumed dead.
"That means you're the reason I'm here...?" Prue wasn't always the quickest to pick up on things.
Akuma was getting annoyed, and he let everyone know it with a low growl in his throat.
"Can't you just take her like she is? Its not like she can... y'know... walk..." Prue wasn't looking at the two pieces of body as she said this. She wanted to get out of this situation but didn't see Akuma as being all that willing.

Clive sighed. "As much as I want to take this wench in, she's unfortunately committed no real crimes besides impersonating a wanted person. And pissing off a god, but that won't get you more than a fine here if you even get prosecuted."
"The fisherman is right. Now, please, let me go. I have to go to my job, and I'm very late," Ms. Mirror said. She was still rather unbothered by the fact she was missing her legs.

"Oh... right... but isn't aiding a criminal a crime?" Prue had to admit, the only knowledge she had of crime was from years ago in Kanto, when she wasn't travelling and training. But it seemed to her that disguising oneself to help the criminal would fall under that. And Mirror had already admitted to doing so.
Akuma sat down. He was not going until he had to.

"That it is, Mr. Allium." Ms. Mirror teased. Clive glared at her, not even going to ask how she knew his name. Instead, he turned back to Prue.
"I'm a bounty hunter. My job was to hunt down Ms. Dopple, not her deranged sister. If we want her to get jail time, then we call the police instead," Clive said. He still shoved Ms. Mirror's legs further away from her body anyways. "Bloody hell. I was hoping I could catch a bloody murderer too, but all I got was some accomplice."

"Oh....Akuma?"
Akuma muttered something along the lines of technicalities, but he complied. He shot a glare to Mirror as he walked off, "Doom doom hound." ("Doesn't mean I'll put up with it if you mess with us again.")
Prue was a little flabbergasted that Akuma listened, but held out his Great Ball and withdrew the Pokemon.
"Uh... sorry for the inconvenience?"
Why am I being so polite!?
"I guess we go?"
