Clive shot another look at the doppelganger before walking out of the alley and back into the sunlight. "Yeah, I guess. Great. Bloody hell. All of the other good bounties are taken already too, and this Dopple lady sounds like she's going to be a pain to take down."
He looked at Prue. "Thanks for recalling that bloody Doberman of yours. I don't think I could carry one of those around all day if I was one of those trainer things. Thats why I'm a fisherman."

"I got him in a trade. It was before I knew what the translation of his name meant. He listened better to his old trainer. And he got worse when he evolved... If you wonder why I keep him around, its for Skeletor." said Prue.
She glanced back into the alleyway. She felt really nervous about leaving the not-quite-woman there.

"Skeletor? Like that old cartoon? What was it... oh, He-Man! Man, I used to love that show..." Clive sighed and put his hat back on his head. He looked at Prue. "If that's all you've got to protect you, though, then it looks like you need a better bodyguard."

Prue's first thought was to take offense. What Clive had just suggested was an insult to the skill of her Pokemon. But then she realized Zelda was exhausted, Akuma was grouchy, and if the world was filled with creatures like the woman they had just left...
"I can't pay you... Actually, I've only got a few hundred PokeDollars on me and its for supplies... I mean, if this world even takes that currency," said Prue.
(OOC: Gawd I hate typing it that way, but that's what I've seen in called in the American version. Keep in mind that PokeDollars are worth about as much as yen since they ddin't change the numbers in the American version fo the game. *wants to call it PokeYen soooo bad. >_>)

"You don't have to pay me," Clive said, looking away. "You look like you're pretty helpless, this place is a hellhole, and as a fighter for justice, I can't let you sit around here by yourself and wait for Cthulhu to come along and eat you. I mean, bloody hell, Yog-Sothoth is the effin' mayor! Nah, as long as you pay me back in the long run, I don't care."
((I don't mind if you use PokeYen. c:))

"Cuthu-what? And I'm not helpless..."
Prue had never heard the tongue twisting name Clive mentioned. Her world wasn't exactly exposed to Lovecraft or Aztec and Mayan myths.
(OOC: If I'm gonna use some dub terms, I have to use them all. *sigh* Its a rule of mine. XD)

Clive facepalmed. "It's gonna take too long to explain that kinda stuff to you, so whatever... and trust me, around here, if you don't have a reliable way to protect yourself, you're screwed. Nah, you're best hanging around me for a while."

"Not all my Pokemon are as wild as Akuma!"
Prue was normally a pretty calm girl. However, she considered insulting her Pokemon WAY over the line.
Although she had to admit, her most reliable Pokemon weren't the strongest. Zelda was pretty strong, but also worn out at the moment.
"Uh, does this world have Pokemon Centers?"
Talk about a mood swing...

"'Pokemon Centers?'" Clive repeated. "No, I don't think so... there was a Hospital nearby here, but it blew up a while back, and the only other hospital's all the way in Bonsai Village..."
He sighed. "It's gonna be a long hike if you need to go all the way there."

"I wonder how I"m supposed to heal my Pokemon then..."
Her entire life, the machines at the Pokemon Centers had been there to heal her Pokemon. She had some healing supplies, but nothing that could heal PP, which is what Zelda was lowest on at the moment. She wished she hadn't used her last few Full Restores on the way up Mt. Coronet.
She was back to wondering if she should rearrange her team to include a large flying type. Although if the world had no Pokemon Centers, she highly doubted Bebe's box system could interact wtih this world.

Clive shrugged. "Tea?" He suggested jokingly. Of course, he had no idea that tea could really be used to heal Pokemon...

(OOC: Actually, it can't. Well, not in game canon. The only time tea is ever used is to get past the guards in Red/Blue/Yellow and Fire Red/Leaf Green. Lemonade, Soda, and Fresh Water, on the other hand, do work. But not for PP. XD)
"I guess if I gave them a good night's rest... but is there anyplace that'll let me stay for free?"
Prue found herself missing the perks of being a trainer in her own world.

((I must have mixed it up for the lemonade. Whoops. ^^; ))
"Not for free, I don't think. There is a hotel nearby, but it's a bit wacko," Clive said. He was suddenly wondering why he was being so kind to this random girl he met on the street.

(OOC: Cause Prue has this ability to make people lke her without trying! I dunno, I seem to have it, so why wouldn't a self-insert?)
Prue sighed, "Well, seeing as how this money probably won't be usable for supplies... Do they take other world money on the island?"
I am SO screwed if they don't. Seems silly to camp out in a city...

"Yeah, thank god," Clive said. "There's people from every universe you can think of on here, and each one uses different kinds of money. Like, all I've got on me right now is some euros, some pence, the such."
