"For your information, I SAVED her." Yuusuke noted, nose held high. This entire situation surfaced a thought in his mind...
"God, it's like Kuwabara's FOLLOWING me." The youth thought to himself, scowling.
"And hey, you're one to talk. What did YOU do to Drunken Elfman over there?" Yuusuke noted, pointing to the currently silent Rax'aar...
...silent because he was testing out how deep a grave could be dug.
In a different situation, that would be pretty lulzy.

(OOC: Oh the timing of Rah-boy's idiocy is made of win! *evil grin* Guess who's been approved?
Lavatory is kind of a complicated word when you compare it to bathroom. Removing the possibility of lulz due to the language barrier, there are probably people who don't know what it means. And Yuusuke isn't exactly "book smart". XD)
"For your information, he's an alien who did that to himself. I wouldn't mentioned the word 'lavatory' around him," Aby shook her head, shifitng expressions to a more pissed one, "But that's beside the point! Why'd you attack Vlad!"
Aby was glaring like you wouldn't believe. She was a girl, so it wasn't as ugly... but it was no wonder poor Yuusuke couldn't get Kuwabara off his mind. Aby had one hand over Vlad's Pokeball, and if Yuusuke was observant enough, he might see Vlad looking rather pissed from inside.
Before much in the way of a reaction could be had, however, a bolt of lightning at leas six feet high shot up from the grave Rah-boy had dug about halfway down. A thin stream of fire swirled around it, leaving a stream of smoke after it left. Something was down there. The surge of yokai energy was a testament to this.

"The Yokai-thing was attacking the... alien." Yuusuke took a moment's pause. Now would have been a horrible time to laugh.
Though, the lengthy response he had planned out was cut short when a bolt of lightning shot... up? What? Did the place just HATE the laws of physics? Then again... Yuu COULD shoot a bolt of energy from his finger... and that HAIR, I mean, the physics there must be HORRIFYING.
The thin stream of fire, no matter HOW physics-abiding, was still being a total prick to Yuusuke's already horrified mind. It's not that he didn't think he couldn't take whatever was about to come out, oh no. He probably COULD HAVE... if he wasn't so horridly injured from the fight with Hi'ar. Perhaps now would be a good time to look in more peaceful ways to address the energy-surge-causer.
"...MOTHER-" Yuusuke began furiously.
"OH HEY. THE ENERGY SPIKE SEEMED TO BREAK MY GOGGLES." Said a, slightly singed, Rax'aar.
He apparently wasn't lucky enough to roll a 20 for his 'dodge lightning' move.

The combination of lightning and fire had burnt away the remaining layer of dirt in the ground. What could be seen now was a box with all sorts of occult symbols carved into it. Another burst of energy occured, this time it was pure fire. And larger. If Rah-boy was standing over the grave still, the smell of burnt hair would be wafting through the area.
Aby had lost her own composure due to the first burst of energy. Now she had shifted her focus away from Yuusuke and had her fists up defensively. Ghost type. It had to be. Then again, this world wasn't one of Pokemon. What if it was something else? She had pulled Vlad's pokeball off her belt. Whatever it was could use fire, she couldn't risk Ivy.
Ginger's hackles were raised and she was trying her best to look threatening. Her ears had picked up the sounds of movement. Something was in the bottom of that grave and was alive or at least animated... and since the normal human could sense it, there was more to it than simply a spirit...

There was only ONE thing Yuusuke could do at this point. Hold his finger out threateningly. Not like he had many more Rei Guns left in him, but... holding his fists up was out of the question after Aby did. The comparisons to be made there would only anger him... not that that's much of a surprise.
Rax'aar, on the other hand, having had enough forethought to get out of the fire-y grave of death, held up a bottle cap he found on the ground.
"AWAY, VILE BEAST. OR I SHALL BE FORCED TO USE THIS CIRCULAR OBJECT TO... GIVE YOU A BAD HEAD-ACHE, OR... SOMETHING... RAWR."
Yuusuke facepalmed. Nice one, alien. Nice.

With one fist up in defense and one aroudn Vlad's pokeball in a way to threaten his release, Aby looked ready for... well, no. She looked scared out of her mind. Or at least really worried. Probably a good thing she missed Yuusuke's reluctance to put up his fists. She wouldn't have taken it well.
The last burst of fire had revealed the "contents" of the box, but as no one was looking, it wasn't important. Besides, it wasn't long before what looked to be a short-ish sixteen year old boy with an odd taste in clothes quite literally lept into the air and flipped before landing in a rather aggressive stance.
As for his appearance... it was awfully similar to someone Yuusuke had fought before. The look was a little less cruel, but the stance was similar. The mostly orange-haired teen was glaring, but it seemed more from an expected attack than at anyone in particular. But it was likely too similar for comfort. And the fact that his hands were crossed in a martial arts like stance with the fore and middle fingers pointed up didn't help. Especially since lightning seemed to be dancing between them.
The sword was behind Ginger and not in immediate sight, but anyone that had spirit sense and wasn't horribly distracted by the teen would see the sword and he had similar energy patterns.

Yuusuke stared, horrified, for a moment longer. It was too similar. Too similar for comfort. He had differences, but... that didn't change who Yuusuke THOUGHT he was.
"GAAAAAH! DIDN'T I KILL YOU ALREADY?!" Yuusuke made an act of pointing his finger rapidly, a near-horrified look on his face. Suzaku was really the last strong enemy he fought before Toguro. Yeah, I'm ignoring all those other guys at the Dark Tournament. Including Jin. And that one guy with the bottle. And... I'm not even going to list all of them.
"...okay so yeah. Do ALL of you humans have awesome hair that defies physics? Because if so, I might have to start using a copious amount of hair gel to fit in..." Rax'aar noted, still holding his... bottle cap threateningly at Suzu.

The teen raised his eyebrow as he glared at Yuusuke, "I don't know who you think I am, but no human has ever come close to killing me," he paused and looked around before his eyes settled on a location past Ginger. The gaze shifted so he was looking the Ninetales in the eye, "Do I have you to thank for undoing my seal?"
"What the hell are you!?" Aby shouted. She clutched Vlad's pokeball tightly. If this teenager was anything like Yuusuke... actually no. He seemed a lot calmer.
The teen had begun to walk towards Ginger. She knew she wouldn't be able to avoid him, so she tried to look more threatening. He didn't seem phased.

And this was ALSO too familiar. Suzaku had nearly killed both Botan AND Keiko last time he was alive. Yuusuke couldn't let that happen AGAIN... though he was more saving Keiko than Botan last time...
In any case, he walked between the orange-haired teen and Ginger, entering 'protect friends' mode. He was about to make a grave mistake, though. One he would regret later.
"I don't know how the hell you were revived, Suzaku, but I'm not letting you hurt any of my friends this time." Yuusuke stated threateningly.
No. He didn't expect to be able to survive if the teen would have attacked. But he ALSO didn't expect calling the seemingly young man Suzaku to be such a bad idea.
And Rax'aar... threw his bottle cap. Yeah.
The irony of the situation wasn't lost, however. Here the alien and the girl had been ready to beat the crap out of Yuusuke. But now... this.
Humorous turn of events is humorous.

The teen stopped and twitched. This black haired human had not just called him Suzaku...
He raised his hand and let a bolt of lightning fire at Yuusuke. He didn't expect the human to survive, but on the odd chance he did he made sure to make a point, "That demon is a rottent thief with no sense of honor! How dare you call me by that name!" he shouted.
Ginger winced as she felt the energy surge and saw the lightning head towards Yuusuke. Aby jumped back herself, dropping Vlad's pokeball in the process. The button hit the ground and the Umbreon popped out. He took a defensive "I will eat you if you come closer" stance. With the lightning fired towards Yuusuke, it didn't seem like he would have the chance to take revenge.
The teen jerked his head towards Rah-boy as the bottle cap bounced off the back of his head, allowing the lightning to dance between his open palms in a pose that was more than a little reminscent of a black haired protagonist from another world. However, a strip of flame had begun whirling around his wrists, threatening to combine with the lightning.

Ouch. That was one of the many thoughts that ran through Yuusuke's mind as he was hit by a bolt of lightning. Along with 'OH MY GOSH IT BUUUUURNS. IT SHOULDN'T BECAUSE IT'S LIGHTNING BUT STILL. GAH. IS THIS WHY THE STUPID SWORD ZAPPED ME? WAIT, NO, HE CAME FROM THE GRAVE, NOT THE SWORD, BUT STILL, OWWW.'
For all purposes, I shall refer to Suzu's lightning blasts as 'HOLYCRAPOW' from now on. For the soul fact that... holy crap. Ow.
"You know I didn't mean to hit you with the bottle cap, right? I was... er... aiming for the dark haired youth that dragged your name through the ground. Right. Haaaa..." Rax'aar noted, sweatdropping. This was bad. Very, very bad.
...and then Yuusuke was up again. Which, considering the situation, was both good AND bad.
"Ow... son of a biiiitch..." He noted, craning his neck a bit. His clothing was EXTREMELY singed at this point.
"I'd ask what you have against your own name, Suzaku, but I honestly don't care at this point. Just... ow." Yuusuke grumbled, getting back to his feet.
Now. He COULD have taken the cuffs off. But as long as he was still able to walk and/or use the Rei Gun, it wasn't the right time. Not... yet.
"Don't panic, focus... wait... DAMMIT HAG, GET OUTTA MY HEAD." Yuusuke thought to himself.
Yeah. Haunted by Genkai even on the island. Poor kid.

The teen growled at Rax'aar, but he heard Yuusuke getting up. The pointy-eared creature was obviously not worth the attention. As for Yuusuke, he was impressed at the teen's resiliance... and then the black haired human chose to insult him again.
"My name is Suzu! Suzaku is nothing but a low grade demon that tried to use me as a stepping stone!"
Suzu threw his hand to the side and a bolt of lightning laced with fire shot around Yuusuke. It wrapped itself around the blade and drew it towards Suzu's waiting hand like some high powered magnet. The stance he then took was similar to some of Hiei's own stances. It was indicative that he knew how to use that sword...
Ginger stared wide-eyed. That hadn't been any normal "summon". That sword had responded to Suzu...
"I'm sure its just a misunderstanding!" shouted Ginger.
"You be quiet, kyuubi!"
If Suzu had known for sure that Ginger was the one that had released him, he probably would have acted differently. But as it was, he was very pissed at Yuusuke. The lightning danced up around the sword, setting it alight with electricity similar to Suzaku's Dark Lightning Punch. A spiral of flame swirled around it as well.
"I will use the Firestorm on you," he growled at Yuusuke.
Vlad was more than a little intimidated by this point. As was Aby. She was slowly working her way towards Rah-boy. If his idea of fighting was throwing bottle caps at the... mage, he needed to be protected. Vlad was following a similar path to Aby, neither of them tasking their eyes off Suzu. He was aware of their position on the battlefield but didn't seem to care. The black jackal-like creature had no spirit powers and the kyuubi was obviously too injured to put up a fight.
And Ginger hadn't had time to rest, so what little spirit powers she had regained were extremely weak.

Yuusuke stared forward, an almost bored look on his face. It was a facade, mind you. At a time like THIS, he couldn't lose his cool. Even if he was extremely close to wetting himself, he could NOT lose his cool...
...and then he lost his cool.
"Hey, bastard! I don't care who you are, at this point. You just admitted to, at one point, being associated with Suzaku. If anything, you're nothing more than a clone of his." Yuusuke stated. Yeah. He was going with the 'imperfect clone' idea to explain Suzu. Not even listening to his statement about Suzaku using him as a stepping stone... mostly because he didn't understand the meaning of the phrase...
Perhaps it was because he'd already defeated Suzaku. Perhaps because he'd defeated Toguro. But his fear began to, slowly, ebb away. If anything, he wasn't prepared to run. Not like he could, anyway. And if push came to shove, well... he still had his cuffs on, that Genkai had forced him to, yet again, wear. His training truly was never-ending.
...but then again. If THAT didn't work... Kuwabara wasn't here to pretend to be dead.

Suzu wasn't sure at this point of the human was that dumb or if he was trying to get a rise out of him. He also didn't particularly care. He wasn't going to waste time with an explanation. He charged at Yuusuke, his sword at ready. While not as fast as Hiei, he was faster than a normal human. Not that it ever really mattered for Yuusuke.
Ginger, on the other hand, was under the misconception that Yuusuke was at the end of his rope. His clothes were charred and he looked to be having trouble standing up. She couldn't do much in this form, she was too short. So she hop-ran forward, using her limited energy to change into human form...
It was time for Yuusuke to be reminded of his friends, AGAIN. Because Ginko got in Suzu's way in time to have the sword run through her. She didn't fare as well as Kurama had, however, passing clean out from the impact. She was bleeding heavily... it was possible she had differed herself even more by getting something important punctured.
"Tsk," growled Suzu, using his foot to pull the blade out. The lightning and fire were gone from the blade as the blood ran down it. Ginko was breathing, but beyond that it was unclear if she would make it.
Aby just stared. The talking Ninetales had changed into a human right before getting impaled. She had no idea what to do now. She could hold her own in a fight, but not against a person with a weapon and magic powers. Vlad didn't take the smart route and began running towards Suzu.
"Vlad!" shouted Aby. It was possible he'd get zapped by Suzu's powers. He was summoning more lightning, no remorse present on his face.

Yuusuke could only stare. There she was AGAIN throwing her life on the line for his. All because he wouldn't take off his stupid cuffs. He still wasn't ready to take them off, even. Although, it wasn't so much that he didn't WANT to... but rather that he couldn't BRING HIMSELF to. However, at this point, he was beginning to care less and less about what Genkai had said and more about hurting Suzu.
"You... you..." Yuusuke was almost at a loss for words, now. He was aware of the other Yokai moving, he was aware of Suzu doing... something, but... the world was all but dead to him at this point.
"...why?" Oh yes. Even Yuusuke has to return to old cliche's at some time or another.
And then everything went into overdrive. He forgot the Rei Gun, forgot moving Ginger away from the deranged demon, forgot the other Yokai, forgot Aby, forgot the alien, forgot EVERYTHING except his blind rage. He found himself throwing punch after punch at Suzu. He wasn't even aware if they were connecting at this point, just that he was putting all his anger, all of his sadness, ALL OF IT, into each punch he tossed.
Even Rax'aar was at a loss for words at this point. This was the SECOND TIME he'd seen a creature badly injured. It was unsettling. Greatly unsettling.
