Yuusuke's reaction caught Suzu off guard, and he received several punches to the gut before he had a chance to holds out his sword in defense. Even with the lightning and fire swirling around the sword and halfway up his arms, the human continued to punch. His fists were bloody, but the fire seemed to be serving the purpose of caterizing just so he could make them bloody again.
He was beginning to see how he had killed Suzaku. If Suzaku had toyed with the human's friends in an attempt to play with his emotions, the kind of act the Suzaku he had known was famous for... and the dying kyuubi had been considered a friend...
He wanted to get out of the way, but Yuusuke was hitting him with such intensity that he didn't really have time to do anything but defend himself. He wasn't aware that the human was slowly pushing him towards one of the many masoleums in the area. With a wall to his back, he would have options. But without the knowledge of where he was being forced to, he couldn't plan ahead.
Vlad had stopped when Aby shouted his name. A little odd for Vlad, but something Aby was greatful for. She grabbed Rah-boy's wrist and pulled him towards Ginko's still body as she ran. She fell to her knees and pulled out some berries from her pocket.
"You, if you have anything that works on humans, pull it out. I'm going to see what I can do with the berries. We could use some strips of cloth too," Aby sounded dead serious.
Vlad took up a protective stance past Ginko's head, making sure to stare at Suzu. The human had gone beserk on the orange-haired teen. He was beginning to realize that it was a good thing he hadn't had a chance to fight again.

His blind rage was GROWING in intensity, actually. The more he punched, the angrier he seemed to grow. He began to GLOW, even. Though, this was caused by him charging a Rei Gan mid-punch. Though, to effectively finish the charge, he DID have to pause his punches for a moment. Probably gave Suzaku-clone time to escape, but he STILL wasn't entirely sure. He fired the Rei Gan, which Jin had once described as a 'hell of a punch'.
Rax'aar was slightly queasy for a moment. He wasn't a fan of blood. He couldn't even handle a PAPER CUT for gosh sakes.
"Er... yeah, yeah I've got this." Rax'aar responded, fiddling around in his pockets. It had once been described as having the ability to cure a 'truckload of stuff, man'.
"It SHOULD help. I can't promise she won't be in pain when she wakes up, but... at the very least, it should heal her more SERIOUS wounds." Rax'aar noted, holding up the blue-ish capsule.
Time, as they say, was of the essence.

As some non-dominant corner of Yuusuke's mind had expected, the charge up did allow Suzu a chance to get out of the way. If it didn't require a surge of spirit energy, it may not have, but Suzu felt it beginning, even before Yuusuke pulled back to fire it.
He leapt into the air, again with his aerial gymnastics, landing on a tombstone to the side. Yuu's attack managed to impact the side of the masoleum he had been pushing Suzu towards. The demon took the opportunity to fire a bolt of lightning surrounded by a stream of fire at the human. It was headed for Yuu's back, and if it hit would likely burn a whole through his clothes, if not badly burn his skin.
Aby held out her left hand, applying a salve she had made from berries with her right one, "Give it to me and tell me how to apply it."
Vlad had taken a subconscious step back as the firey lightning bolt shot from Suzu's sword. Things didn't look well for the human, and he almost felt sorry for him. Almost, not quite. Karma can be a real bastard sometimes.

This was ALMOST completely horrible. Almost. But from the sounds he heard around him, from the energy he felt blasting towards him, he KNEW it was time to Rei Gun. The most he could hope for at this point, however, was slowing the blast of electricity down. And there was a SMALL chance even that would work. It was NEARLY time to rip the spirit cuffs off his wrists. If he didn't DIE first.
He turned as quickly as he could, firing off the strongest Rei Gun he could muster. If he'd aimed it differently, it may have had a SMALL chance of connecting with Suzu... but he wasn't lucky enough to aim correctly at this point.
"Just break it over the creatures wounds, any one, and it SHOULD go to work. At leas, that's what my tests show." Rax'aar responded.

Aby grabbed a rock off the ground. Ginko had two major wounds. Well, technically one but there was an entrance and an exit. She was worried about the results of Rah-boy's cure, but doing nothing and a bad reaction were nearly the same at this point. The blue haired woman would die without it. At least with it she had a chance.
Suzu didn't even have to try hard to dodge the Rei Gun. He even went so far as to casually jump off to the side of the tombstone as it rocketed past him. The human had interesting powers, but he was fading. Hell, he'd been weak when they met. He held out his sword threatingly, allowing more fire and lightning to dance around it.
"Before I kill you, I want you to know. Suzaku copied me. He wanted the Zhu-Que no Ken to accept him as master instead of me. Think about that as you die." He thrust the sword forward, sending a bolt of lightning and flame at Yuusuke. In the teen's condition, it wouldn't bode well if it impacted.
The liquid worked just as well as Rah-boy had said it would. Better even. The wound was slowly sealing and Ginko twitched. She wasn't awake, but her body was responding...
(OOC: As you know, Zhu-Que no Ken = Blade of Zhu-Que.)

It was nearly over. He'd be DEAD of he was hit by this attack, he KNEW that. But... did he even have TIME to take off the cuffs at this point? To release all of his spiritual energy? Or would it work as a makeshift shield and give him time to dodge? Well... he was out of time for speculation. He used the password Genkai had given him, breaking the cuffs open. It worked rather well, actually. Gave him enough time to leap to the side. Barely, but enough nonetheless.
"So, Suzu was it? Ready for round 2?"
Rax'aar let out a sigh of relief. It would appear that the capsule was working up to snuff. Which was good... because if it HADN'T... wow. Just wow.
"Okay. I think we saved her. I THINK, mind you."

Suzu felt the surge of energy, but he didn't recognize the technology the human had used. He'd been sealed many years before Genkai had been born, so there was no way he would have known of the tools she helped develop. But the boy had enough energy to fight for several more hours. Suzu had no such luck. But he wasn't smart enough to back down. He took a defensive stance with the sword and nodded, "If you think you can take me," he growled.
Ginko opened her eyes. She was facing away from Rah-boy and Aby, so it wasn't obvious she was awake until she groaned and tried to push herself up. Before collapsing because she had forgotten her arm was hurt. The break was mostly healed due to her accelerated healing, but it still couldn't support any weight.
"Hey, you awake?"
Ginko managed to get into a sitting position. The two wounds were still there, but they weren't very deep. She looked at Aby for a moment before jerking her head towards where Yuusuke and Suzu were fighting. It was a bad idea, as she had a bit of a headspin. Aby held out her arms to catch the woman, but it proved to be an unnecessary measure. Ginko pushed herself to her feet with her good arm... one or both of them were going to get killed.
"Urameshi-kun, be careful!" she shouted.
Aby looked a little upset, "Hello! People who saved your life over here?"
Vlad was pacing back and forth. He had some long distance attacks but he really didn't know who he wanted to attack more. The human teen was a jerk, but the not quite human one was... dark. Smelled wrong. Kind of like the blue-haired woman behind him, but she wasn't trying to kill anyone.

That sound... was it... yes. Yes it was. Yuusuke turned his head from his attacker for a brief moment. Yeah. Ginger was, for the most part, still alive. This was good. Things were starting to slightly turn in their favor. He had his energy surge, Ginger wasn't yet ready to enter the grave she'd pulled the sword from... but now wasn't a time to focus on that.
"Heh. Even Kuwabara could take you. And this is BEFORE he trained with Kurama." Yuusuke smirked. It wasn't that he was being... COMPLETELY over-confident. No. He wanted to get a rise out of this fellow. It was almost the same as what Toguro had done to Yuusuke.
Only, the two had different reasons. Toguro just wanted to get the crap beat out of him. Yuusuke was trying to AVOID that.

Suzu paused, his stance softening a barely discernable amount. He hadn't attacked as he had been waiting for Yuusuke to charge him. But had this human just said he knew Kurama? He went back into his stance but it seemed as if he was suddenly not into it. That youko had been one of the few demons he'd met that could stand up to his flames, even with his plant based skills.
"Kurama, as in the silver-haired youko? You know that Kurama? And you're alive?" He would be ready to fend off or dodge an attack if Yuusuke went at him, but his curiosity had been peaked.
Ginger turned towards Aby. She had shifted from concern to annoyance, "My apologies. Thank you for helping me. But neither of you seem to have the spirit energy this fight would require. Please stand back."
"Hey, your arm's hurt! Don't go telling us we aren't fit to fight!" growled Aby.
Vlad turned towards Ginko. He'd help Aby hold the human-looking creature back if he had to. He stared hard and took a stance to indicate this to the woman.

"Well, yeah. Although his hair is only silver in his Youko form. He's a red-head in his human form, last I checked. Goes by the name Shui-HEY, WAIT, THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Yuusuke suddenly snapped out of friendly-rant mode. Right. Now was NOT the time to tell Suzu about any of his friends back home. Even IF he was also trapped in this strange dimension.
"Though, if you're looking for someone to attack, I know a blue-haired spirit guide named Botan..." Yuusuke noted. This was a rather... shocking turn of events.
He almost didn't feel like using the Rei Gun. In fact, he DIDN'T. The situation had changed too much to attack, at this moment.
"...I think she has a point, Aby. We SHOULD just hang back, we can't fight that... thing."

"What? Human?"
Suzu had seen Yuusuke pull back on his aggression. He did the same. The Kurama he knew had no human form. A full fox and youko form, yes, but no human form. The only possible way he would have a human form is if... but no. No way. No one could have injured the demon fox that badly.
"What do you mean human? The Kurama I know has no human form, by any name. And he wouldn't willingly ally himself with a human." He had lowered his sword to his side now, but his speed earlier had indicated he could at least dodge any sudden attack Yuusuke could use.
Ginko was about to answer Aby and Rax'aar, but she hear the shift in tones of voice. The fight had stopped? Had Urameshi actually managed to difuse a situation? That seemed unlikely.
"Stay here," she said as she carefully began walking towards the two people. Aby scowled. She wanted to follow after the woman but had a funny feeling she would know. Vlad watched the woman's tail swish back and forth. Aby glanced down, wondering what the Umbreon saw that she didn't.

"According to anime law, every character has to have a backstory. So I'll explain. Kurama was a full Youko, yes. Then he was badly injured and took the form of Shuuichi Minamori. And here we are, trying to kill each other." Yuusuke noted. This down-time in the fight was... unsettling.
"Can I get back to kicking your ass, now?" Yuusuke questioned, trying to get his scowl back. The situation was just... what?
"Right, well, we'll just stay here and such!" Rax'aar called out.

"What law? And who badly injured him? Kurama is no pushover... you better not be lying," Suzu paused. The human had far more energy now than he did, "And I was merely fighting to defend my honor. Suzaku is scum, even for how you humans interpert us yokai. He used me, and I do not appreciate the comparison."
Aby seemed more confident about the situation. She cupped her hands and shouted towards the two males, "You two done being macho yet?"
Ginger winced. Was the human woman trying to get killed? Or was she just that stupid? Then again, she saw Urameshi pulling something that stupid as well... at least he had powers to back it up.

"I don't think ANYONE could out-mach you, sir." Yuusuke noted, hands behind his head. He wasn't one to take insults well, but... the chance there was too great to pass up.
"Well... as long as you don't even like Suzaku, I guess... what the hell are we even fighting for?" Yuusuke asked, turning to face Suzu again.
Rax'aar's head popped up behind a tombstone. Would've called it a headstone, but the pun would be... no.
"Is it safe to come out, yet?"

The situation seemed to be diffused, "Never claimed to be a girly girl, now did I? Now that all that's over with, why'd you attack Vlad the way you did?" Aby was advancing towards Yuusuke as she spoke. Ginger made sure to stay near the girl as she passed her. She wanted to prevent Yuusuke killing her if a fight broke out.
Vlad yawned. This was no fun. Neither of them had gotten killed and he hadn't had a chance to attack. He walked over to Rah-boy and chomped down on his pants leg. At least he hadn't bit the alien's skin. He began tugging it, as if trying to pull him towards the group.
Suzu frowned, "I was merely defending myself. Didn't I just say that? But you haven't answered me clearly. Why would Kurama, even injured, ally himself with a human? He was never one for useless sentimentality," Suzu was walking towards Yuusuke like everyone else. The fight had been diffused.
It wasn't Suzu's fault he didn't know about the attachment Kurama had towards his human mother. Or the event with the Dark Mirror. Let alone what "anime" was.
