The City Hall was a place of great pride in Void City, known for being the building that the reclusive mayor of Void City lives. Being that it looked like the White House of Washington DC, Earth Prime, was usually quite abuzz with activity among the halls. Among these rooms was one particular room that could give you the information of everyone that lived in the city...
And it was this room that Wally and Otto wanted to find.
"Well here we are." Wally said as he beheld the big front door before them.
Otto's face was just as flat as ever, as he beheld it himself. "Shall we go in?"

Double D nodded, facing his friend. "Lead on, Ed. You said your friend works in the Lobby?"
"A-yup! He got promoted after doing such a good job at the ITS!" Ed replied, opening the door and allowing the others to follow. Courage perched on Wally's shoulder, whistling at the vast foyer around them. Green and black flags and rugs ran down the halls and draped the walls and windows, and important, unmentioned people ran this way and that, carrying on with their business.
But Ed's business was at the front desk. He approached it with a wide grin, and upon his entrance, a grin even goofier than his, borderline creepy, even, popped up from behind the desk.
Even Double D recognized the iconic face. "Oh, you MUST be kidding me."
"HI, THERE!" greeted a mutant bandicoot, wearing a spiffy suit and a nametage that read 'Crash.' He looked unbelivingly happy. "Welcome to Void City Hall! How can I help you?"

Otto stared at the Bandicoot in disbelief. "You AGAIN?"
Wally stared at the bandicoot too before turning to Otto, "Whoa wait... You know this furry mate, Otto?"

"CRASH-BUDDY!"
"....ED-BUDDY!!" The Super Child and bandicoot traded grins, laughs, and pats on the back, much to the confusion of the others. "GAH, man, how've you BEEN!? It's been forever!!"
"Busy, busy, busy!!" Ed laughed.
"Story of my life!" Crash stared at the others. ALL of them were sweatdropping. "So... how can I help you??"
"...erm...." Double D cleared his throat. "We're, ahem, looking for someone. We wanted to search the records of everyone that's passed through the ITS."
"Oh, that's it? Pffffffft!" He inappropiately hopped over the counter, gaining countless stares from his coworkers. "No problem! I'll take you guys there!"

Otto smirked at this, "Still as helpful as ever I see." He bowed quickly to Crash, "Thank you for your help."

"Not a problem!" Crash cheerfully replied, leading them down a stray hallway. "It is my DUTY!"
"....hehehe..." Ed giggled. "You said doody."
"....oh, yeah, I DID!" Crash joined in with the giggling, Double D rolling his eyes.
"Now I see where you learned that puerile joke, Ed."
"It's just down this way!" Crash piped up as they passed a stray lunch cart. "Ooh! Don't mind if I do!" He idly snatched up a taco, gulping it down. "I have a weakness for tacos."

"All I ask is that you do NOT pass gas, with us around." Otto monotoned as they continued on down the hallway, causing a few people to stare at him. Otto groaned "I got to meet Crash before when I first came to Dimensional Island via the ITS. He gave me some info on where to go as well as a map to help me get around."
Wally stared at the Dark youth curiously. "And what about his farting?"
Otto plugged his nose with a grimace, "I can still smell it, it was so damn foul it made the marshes back on our world smell down right CLEAN and AIR FRESHENED."
Wally looked at Otto with disbelief. "You're kidding."
"Yeah cause 'kid' is something I do often." was a sarcastic reply.

"Yet another factor you two share in common," Double D noted to Ed. "I can see how you get along so well."
"Aww, don't worry, I've been managing it!" Crash waved it off.
"Managing...?"
....ppbht.
...........
"I release my gas in smaller increments!" Crash elaborated, grinning. "With a tiny poot every twenty-three minutes and forty-two seconds, I can release the tension healthily while still being curteous to others!"
".......my, how thoughtful," Double D muttered past a plugged-up nose.

Otto REALLY wished he had brought a clothespin to close up his nose. In the meantime, he settled for plugging his nose. "See what I mean?"
Wally was in disbelief at the rankness of the fart itself, looking close to passing out, "GEEZ LOUISE... THAT'S FOUL!!" He looked to Courage to see if he was alright, "You okay there Courage?"

Courage didn't reply, his eyes little crosses, face a little green.
"Uh, he don't look too good," Ed observed.
"...if you don't mind, could you take us to the hall of records in LESS than twenty minutes, please?" Double D tensely asked.
"No prob! Here it is!!" Crash delightfully waved to the door marked 'Hall of Records.' Swiftly unlocking the door, he threw it open and gestured in. "Go on ahead! You can't take any original documents with you, but there's a copy machine in there if you need to reference outside the hall!"

Otto and Wally quickly sprinted in, Otto looking about ready to hurl, and Wally, concerningly, trying to cover Courage's nose, gagging himself.
[After Ed and Double D go in, keep the scene focused on Crash, I have an idea to help make things exciting.]

"Well, it was very nice to meet you, Mr. Bandicoot, sir, too bad we can't chat longer, much work to get done, yes indeedy!" Double D rushed out before he swiftly followed.
"Thanks, buddy!" Ed beamed, waving to Crash before he went in. "I owe you!"
"I'll keep that in mind!" Crash laughed as they all stormed in with an impressive urgancy. Must've been someone important they were looking for. Not that it was his business. Shrugging to himself, he turned around and started walking back towards the lobby, humming to himself.

He couldn't take but two steps, before another voice appeared...
"Excuse me, is this the way to the the Hall of Records?"
It sounded female, young too, around 12 years of age.
