Raised, nervous voice... Quickened, shallow breath... An increased heart rate...
Otto could instantly tell something was off. "Is it the changed aura, I told you about?"

"Y-yes, quite possibly... I-I'd better head home before it becomes a more serious issue...I-I'm so sorry..."
Courage yelped at Mandy's entrance, hiding behind Ed's shoulder while the oaf glanced back and forth between the arguing two. Something about this girl made the dog quite frightened.

Otto didn't give it a second thought. "Don't worry about it, just go." waving his hand dismissively, Otto instantly took off for the hall Wally was in.

"Forgive them." Mandy continued, "Their a bunch of morons that don't know how to folloe orders correctly, short of attacking an enemy." She glared at the demons, whom cringed a little.
"Sorry mistress..." One of the demons went... ... ... Before he pointed his pitchfork at Wally. "But do you sense his aura?! That's some massive, and powerful light energy emitting from him, he almost smells like an angel, and it's difficult for us to focus, with his kind around!"
Frowning, Wally responded, "I'm far from being an angel mate. I'm kinda like one of those 'so close, yet so far' cases. What do you expect me to do?"
It was apparent Mandy's patience was wearing thin. "You could always LEAVE."

"Th-thank you, Otto. Good luck to you." Embrassed, Double D quickly hurried out of the Hall. To avoid the risk his sudden transformation causing any alarm, he made himself invisible and strolled down the hall as calmly as he could.
What in heaven's name was happening to him...?

"Leave??" Ed whined. "But we gotta find someone! It's really important!"
Courage would've nodded in agreement if he wasn't cowering in fear.

"You think I CARE what you think?" The girl rudely responded. Her frown deepened, as she gripped her scythe. "Listen up; I have something I need to search for here..." She thumbed the flat of the blade in her hand, "See this scythe? It has the ability to tear open rifts allowing interdimensional travel... However, these days, it only seems to allow me to open a portal to Hell and nothing more." Her deepened even more, "Because of this, I cannot return home. I have previous engagements there I cannot ignore."
Wally frowned himself, "Hey we have problems of our own here little misses!"
"And what could that be?" Mandy asked glaring at Wally.
Wally grinned a little, knowing this would catch her attention. "What do you know of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur?"
Mandy's eyes lifted to Wally's looking a bit surprised to hear what she heard. "You're looking for it?"

Ed nodded. "And a girl too! There's a bad guy named him who has the girl and wants the swords! So if we can find the girl, we can find HIM!" He took a breath, then beamed.

Mandy took a moment top divulge in this information... ... ...
"Why should I care?"
That brought along quite a few surprised stares. "If someone wants the swords it matters little to me. I'm aware of the chaos these weapons can bring, and, looking at this world, I'd say Chaos is exactly what it needs." She crossed her arms, "A finer punishment for trying to contain me."
Wally gawked at the girl. "Y-your nuts!! Are you AWARE of what kind of damage this demon could do if he got those swords?!?!"
"It doesn't matter." Mandy thumbed the blade once again. "If this demon comes my way, I'll just give him tyhe proper 'Endsville Welcome'." She shrugged "And who knows? He might drop the swords once it's said and done and I could claim them as my own."
"You ARE nuts..."
Otto suddenly appeared, glaring at Mandy, "Do you honestly think you could control the swords if you got them?!"
"I don't think so." Mandy glared back, "I know so. Now all of you get out of my way." She attempted to walk off...
"Why don't you try and MAKE us?" Otto was heard growlinbg to emphasize his point.
[Ed could win this battle easily, but let's not rush. Why not make Mandy able to deflect Ed's Zero Point energy's using the scythe's reflective surface?]

Courage fell off his perch when Ed fell into a battle stance, and he scampered under Wally's feet as the battle looked ready to begin.

Mandy turned back to the group growing steadily more frustrated, at the group before her. "You really want to try me, you creep?!" She growled, her scowl especially deep. "Okay, fine... I'll grant you you're DEATH WISH!"
Mandy hopped atop the scythe as if it was a witches broom...
ZOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And was instantly off like a rocket through the air!
Otto looked wide-eyed, as he quickly side-stepped the zooming scythe. Mandy ignored Otto jumped off the Scythe, grabbing it all the while, and swinging it with a vengeance at the next person in her way; namely Wally.
"WHOA SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
SLICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wally ducked the attack, as the girls lumberjack chop nearly took off his head. Mandy, with barely a word, followed up with a downward swing. Wally instantly pulled out his broadsword, a HUGE Cleaver like blade that looked near impossible for anyone short of super human strength, to so much as pick it up. CLAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wally's sword, almost amazingly to Mandy, didn't get sliced in half by the scythe. "Wha-?"
"This sword's made of enchanted metal, little misses!" Wally grinned as he pointed to the weird runes that decorated the flat of the blade. "No breakin' that!"
With a mighty heave, Wally pushed Mandy's scythe away, causing the girl to go sliding across the floor. Mandy was growling dangerously, as she prepped the scythe for another round.

"YES!" Courage cheered. Wally definitely knew how to hold his own in a battle. However, when one of the goblins poked him in the butt with its spear, he screamed and shot into the air, latching to the ceiling.
"...trouble...!" Ed took a defensive pose, his back to Otto, while the goblin army surrounded them.
But he wasn't worried, of course. These little guys would be no problem.

Wally and Mandy continued their struggle with prime vigor, their blades moving so fast hardly anyone could see them. Wally smirked as he threw a powerful over-the-head slice, which Mandy blocked with the scythe. Left slash blocked, right slash dodged, Mandy proved to be both a tough and agile adversary.
With Otto and Ed, the two stared down the Demon army that had them surrounded. Otto grinned as he stared down the demons. "They look like good eatin to ya guys?" One of the demons said with a sadistic grin. Everyone appeared to agree with him and started to chuckle evilly, closing ranks.
Otto's grin only stayed. "Oh no, whatever are we going to do?" His sneer was ever apparent as shadows suddenly appeared and Otto easily absorbed them. His eyes now pitch black with energy he turned to Ed looking much more intimidating. "What do you think Ed?" His voice was dripping with sarcasm towards the demons, causing them to all get very VERY nervous.

"I think THEY look good eatin' too," Ed tried his hand at a sarcastic remark, his hands staring to glow. It was an odd response, but hey, first time for everything. "With lots of butter."

Well... Not bad for a first try.
"I agree." Otto grinned once more, "Shall we teach them a lesson?" Not waiting for a response, Otto blasted his hands outwards, blowing up a few hundred demons before him.
Mandy caught a glimpse of the chaos and rolled her eyes. "I'm surrounded by idiots..."
She quickly backstepped Wally's next swipe.

"AAAGGHH!!" Courage barely dodged that next swing, diving under a toppled bookcase.
"Butt Kicking 101!!" Ed agreed. He grabbed several of the demons with his ZPE, one on each finger, slamming them into each other and the wall.

Wally and Mandy continued their duel at fast speeds, clashing, slashing, easily matching each other despite the sheer difference in size, type, and usage. "I'll give you this little miss!" Wally giggled as he easily parried a blow from Mandy's scythe and swung his sword in a wide arc, Mandy easily blocked it. "If we weren't enemies in this little struggle, I would've called this the best friendly duel I've ever had!"
Mandy stared at Wally confused, "You always this peppy, or am I just lucky?"
"Trust me, I'm horrible at that. That's what Otto tells me each and every day!" He swung with a wide arc, Mandy blocking it once more.
WHAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With Otto and Ed were really teaching the demons a lesson. Otto, his hands transformed into claws, was slamming demons away at a fast pace, punching, kicking, blowing up, all around beating the everloving crud out of em.
"Less talking, more disarming, WALLY!!! GET THAT SCYTHE AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!"
