Bark groaned at this, before shaking his head. "There shouldn't be Bean." Waving him off, the polar bear drank a little tea himself after pouring a cup for himself, Bean, and Slash. "Regretful to say, I haven't seen anyone around who matches that description." He lowered the cup having said that. "Me and Bean just got here ourselves."

Cindy was crestfallen. She had hoped she could find her boyfriend somewhere soon.

"I see...... I'm so worried about him.......... I met him shortly after last Christmas. It was where I got this pendant. Both he and I got one pendant of these birds and when we met they fused into this one which we share. I learned about Nutcase's past from a friend of his and I knew that he needed someone to brighten up his life. And I had moved to Toon Town to start a new life anyway.......... But..." Cindy then began crying. "Then THIS happens!!! Why did those insects have to ruin our lives?! Why must we be victims of such creeps!?! It's not fair!!!!!"

Cindy continued crying. The Mobians and young man looked on unsure of what to say. Even Bean stayed quiet.

Bark lightly raised an eyebrow, before he sighed a little. "I'm... Sorry about that. Truely I am." He walked over to the girl and lightly pat her on the shoulder. "I can't imagine what your going through right now." It looked like he meant it too.

"I know! Let's find this guy!" Bean said happily.

"Bean's got a point. Can't get anything done just sittin' here." Slash said.

A quick look to the two, confirmed to the polar bear that they had indeed said what they said. It took a moment, for the suggestion to sink in... ... ... "Hmmm... I suppose we could do that." He nodded before turning to Cindy. "How about this Cindy? We can leave to go find this guy after you get warmed up, and we can find you some appropriate winter wear." He looked to the window. "It doesn't look like it's getting any warmer outside."

Cindy said, "Hey I'm not like this loopy duck. Then again he seems too stupid to feel pain or anything else otherwise unhealthy."

"Thank you!" Bean said estatically.

Isn't that right? Slash thought.

"So anyway, looks like we've got a plan." Slash said to Cindy. "Sound good to you?"

Face never changing, Bark shrugged before looking out the window. "Hmmm..." the slight blizzard outside didn't seem to be slowing down any. "We'll have to wait until this blizzard stops before we go outside. After it's gone, we can have a look around, see if we can find a town or something nearby."

At that moment, the door opened. In walked a grown man in a thick winter coat.

"Brrrrr....nothing like home, that's for sure..." Said the man in a voice very familiar to Cindy.

"I-is that...?"

The man turned in response to Cindy's words, and looked suprised at the group. He was a man who looked to be in his mid-30s, but his face had a child-like quality, especially in his eyes which sparkled with enthusiasm and jolliness. He had reddish brown hair and seemed a bit overweight, though it didn't appear to bother him any one bit.

"CINDY?! Cindy, is that you?!?" The man asked in a very suprised voice.

"Ray! Ray it's great to see you! I'm glad to see you're here, if anyone can help us it's you!"

Ray looked on confused and said, "Wait, what'er you talking about?"

"I like cereal!" Bean screamed randomly, only to be backhanded by Bark.

"Excuse him, he's an idiot." Cindy said simply. "Anyway, these are Bean, Bark, and Slash. Guys, this is Dr. Ray Stanz of the Ghostbusters! My boyfriend helped them with a case not long before those evil bugs attacked Toon Town..."

"They got you too, Cindy? Man, I thought I had it bad.....when those bugs attacked we lost the containment unit and all the ghosts we caught escaped...though they're all likely confused as to what happened to the planet some of them wanted to rule so badly."

"Evil bugs? I feel like I'm outta the loop here." Slash said, when they started talking about evil bugs.

"Oh right..." Cindy said as she thought about how to explain.

"Let me try." Ray said as he got ready to talk. "You see kid, in the world of the supernatural, demons and other foul entities take many forms. These creepy insectts are an example. But these were easily the worst thing my friends and I ever encountered! No matter how many we fried more kept coming! They destroyed everything...all of New York was ripped to pieces...soon the very planet seemed to be torn aart and the four of us, our secretary and our ghost friend Slimer got separated in some huge portal and the next I knew I was in this house. As such I decided to make the best of it."

"COOL!" Bean said estatically. "Wanna know how we got here?!"

A big gloved hand clamped Bean's beak shut. "Let's not go there Bean."

With that said, Bark turned to Ray, giving him a raised eyebrow. "Hmmm... I have heard of these insects before. But this is the first time, I've heard of them being an actual threat. Before me and Bean was thrown off of our own world, there had been reports of strange insects around the world, but they were usually easily handled..."

Thinking a moment, he shook his head. "If what you say is true, our world may be facing tough times soon..."
