(OOC: Due to overcrowding. I've got two characters as does FF, and we want to avoid too much crowding.)
A young woman stepped inside the front door of an out of the way shop. It wasn't even technically in the Plaza, although that's where denizens of Void City would lump it together as. It was actually tucked into some obscure back alley. It wasn't where it had been a just under a week ago, but the shop was magic. She could move it, and she didn't want any interupptions today.
That damn hedgehog could have given me more notice. Hell, a full day would have been nice. Does he have any idea how hard it is to teleport a shop with only hours before a guest arrives?
The woman sighed as she looked at the Open sign. She had flipped it moments ago so that closed showed to the outside world. She turned as she heard a tea kettle boiling.
"Eriol, would you be a dear and get the tea ready? We're about ot have a guest..." she paused, looking rather startled. She pulled open the door and looked down the alley. Nothing was there, but she facepalmed nonetheless. They never came one at a time, did they? "Erm... make that two guests. A human and... a.... well, she's not human but please do not be startled by her appearance."
Mitsu sighed to herself. She'd meet them in this form. Besides, it seemed better to meet Seth in a form his siblings wouldn't know. He was aware of his relation in this life even if he did not know his past.

Just as Eriol rushed back out from the back room carrying several cups of tea and the tea kettle with him, a portal opened up right outside Himitsu's shop, spitting out a rather androgynous looking woman wearing a beret. Well, woman wasn't the right word, what with the fact she was most definitely not human.
"Pain in the ass... when I find that hedgehog, I'm going to strangle him..." she mumbled. She looked up at Himitsu, and seemed a bit startled by the lack of ears and tail. "What the hell are you?"
Eriol walked out next to Himitsu. "...She's got a tail. And ears."
"...Yes I do. And you're made of wood. Your point?" Palette asked rudely.

Mitsu looked nervous for a moment, glancing at Eriol, "Now you two, we haven't even had proper introductions. My name is Himitsu, and I am what is called a human. A rather common species in the multiverse despite not being indigenous to Teriia. This is Eriol, he is a living doll construct. I'm about to have another visitor, so would you kindly come inside? We have tea prepared. I suppose I should tell you I am an acquaintance of Rylou. In the friendly sense."

Palette grumbled and walked inside. "Pain in my ass, he is... stupid hedgehog just left me in his damn library half the time. I don't even want to live in a library, I got stuck there because of that stupid next door neighbor of mine!" she complained.
"It could always be worse," Eriol said. Ever since Himitsu had taken him in, the doll had mellowed out quite a bit. Having someone who actually cared for him had created quite the effect on the doll's mind. He looked back at Palette as she sat down at a tea table where Eriol had placed the tea before. "You didn't say your name."
Palette crossed her arms. "Palette."
"...that's not a name."
"Eriol's no guy's name either. What are you, the little mermaid?" Palette asked.

Himitsu grinned nervously. She was grateful that Eriol didn't act like he had when he first came here. She didn't like the idea of her shop getting totalled thanks to a guest. She had put away the more dangerous and magical stuff. That's part of what had taken so long. Right now the shop was more of a glorified knick knack store.
"His name is Eriol, not Ariel. I suppose I've spent so much time around Asians lately I forget the troubles some people have with pronunciations. He should be here soon..." -----
Kaini turned the corner. It had been a few days since he left Midori's apartment. He had gotten the costume returned with the help of the angel. She had helped him get some other celestials, for lack of a better descriptor, to fight. But somehow he still knew his twin would mop the floor with him. And in the abscence of that, Naoya. He sighed. He had spent the past hour walking, his feet going without much direction.
He actually had sore feet because of it. He wondered if there was a place nearby he could sit down for a rest. He heard the jingling sound of bells and looked up to see a middle-eastern woman gesturing towards him. He blinked, "Um.... hello?"
"Please, come in. I knew you'd be showing up."
Kaini paused, "Wait, what?"

Eriol jumped up at Kaini's appearance, and gave the best grin that he could. Considering he was a wooden doll, though... it wasn't a fairly nice looking one. In fact, it was rather creepy. Palette jumped before looking at Kaini. Another one of these "humans." Ooookay.
"Tea?" Eriol asked, holding out a cup.
Palette was lightly sipping at her own tea. Okay. This was pretty good, actually.

Kaini looked down at the... he shook his head. Right. Why not. With everything he had run into on this island, what looked to be Pinocchio's long lost brother totally wasn't weird. But the doll had come out of the shop and held up a cup of tea.
He looked up at Himitsu, suddenly realizing what must have happened, "Um.... I think you're mistaking me for Keiichi."
Himitsu raised an eyebrow. So he had met his brother. She shook her head, "No, I'm not. Although I'm afraid I don't know your name. You might want to come in, Eriol will stand like that all day if I let him."
Kaini looked towards the shop. And suddenly decided the doll wasn't the weirdest thing he had seen. He pointed, "Is that a demon?"
Thing was, while not inside the shop he was close enough for Palette to hear. And it was more than likely she'd react before Himitsu had a chance to calm the situation down.

Yeah, Palette did NOT take that well. While she didn't get out of her seat, she turned to look at Kaini, or at least in his direction. She couldn't really see him that well from where she was sitting.
"Do I LOOK like a demon to you?! I'm a perfectly normal Nuanox, thank you very much!" Palette yelled. Shit, it's another one of those asshats who think I'm a monster because of my power. Just. Fucking. Great. Yeah, she was mad.
Saying nothing, Eriol moved out of the way of the door. Still holding out the tea.

Kaini winced. Honestly, yeah. Not like any animal from his world, that's for sure. He couldn't even pass it off as an anthro of some sort. Himitsu was grateful the reaction had been that minor.
"You are aware this is a different dimension, correct? She comes from another world, and she is not a demon. In fact, you insulted her as much as if I had called you a demon."
Kaini opened his mouth, but shut it and shook his head. He was still nervous, but his feet hurt. And she didn't seem that bad, "I guess I can stay a while...."
Himitsu nodded and pulled open the door, "Eriol, go ahead and sit down," she turned towards Kaini, "Now what is your name? Mine is Motomeru Himitsu."
"....Kurosawa Kaini," he said as he walked in. He sat down at the table Palette was at, "Um... sorry about that.... I've... had a hectic few days..."

Palette put an arm on the table and looked away. "It's fine. Aghhh... stupid hedgehog." She still seemed rather annoyed. And although it was hard to see because of how she was holding her head, the star marking on her eye was slightly glowing. It looked like a vision was coming.
Eriol sat down across from Palette, and put Kaini's tea in front of him. He just seemed to be happy to be alive. Palette, sensing that the doll would probably do almost anything she told it to, said, "Go get me a pad of paper and something to write with. And do it quick."
Eriol got back up and walked to the back room.

Himitsu quickly walked over and tapped Palette on the shoulder, "I need to talk to you. Alone. Quickly, before you get the paper."
Kaini looked confused, but Himitsu waved her hand, "Its personal. Please just enjoy your tea. Palette, please."
The fact that she said "before you get the paper" meant that Rylou had perhaps shared more than Palette would have liked. Mitsu knew it would be hard to get decent coherence out of the Nuanox. But she had to head it off before Seth saw anything that could adversely effect his development.

If it was even possible, Palette's face paled. Oh god. This lady knew. Rylou had sent her to someone who knew. No... it only made sense that this person knew. But even still... This was wrong.
She stood up. "Let's make this quick then. It'll pass if I don't have anything to record it on."

Himitsu nodded and quickly ushered Palette to the side. She spoke in a hushed whisper, "Don't show it to him. I have a feeling it has to do with who he really is, and he doesn't know. I'd explain, but it has to do with the history of a different world."
Eriol had come back out now. Himitsu would have liked to explain more, but she stepped back. Kaini looked annoyed. She walked over to him.
"You were expecting me?"
"Yes...?"
Kaini sighed, "Then why... I mean, don't take this wrong but you're being rude. And what's wrong with her? I could have sworn her face was glowing."
"It's nothing. You have a COMP, correct?"
Kaini's eyes turned into saucers and he jumped up, knocking over his chair from the force, "Wha-why- Imean...."

Unfortunately for Himitsu, Palette had this annoying habit of speaking her predictions as she wrote them. Upon Eriol holding the notebook out to her to take it, Palette snatched it up, and began writing rather frantically in it. Before she could get into another room so Kaini wouldn't hear the prediction either. Yeah, being an Oracle could suck sometimes.
[shadow=white,left,300]"The shadows of the blue hair's past are brought up again... blaming himself, he throws himself once again to be sacrificed, as the sinner and the lamb are left to the lamb's replica... their helpless lives in his hands... All small events compared to the chains of Death, weakening with every moment..."[/shadow] Pallete recited. On the paper, she was scribbling vague metaphors for what she was reciting. It was all rather hard to make out.
Eriol had since backed away from Palette. "I'm sorry... she's being rather odd," he apologised to Kaini. "Continue on, please."

Kaini's broken mind had actually been repaired thanks to Pallete's comments. Well, that and the fact that half her face looked to be enough to read by in a moonless night. What was she talking about? He heard sinner and lamb, both words that caught his attention. Himitsu said nothing, her face having shifted to completely unreadable. She wanted to wait for Kaini's reaction.
Kaini straightend, trying to look brave, or tough, or something other than completely confused and slightly frightened, "Who. Are. You?" he asked Himitsu, having erroneously decided that the furry was connected to her.
"I am... many things. I suppose what you want right now, hoever, is that I am a sorceress. I have no affiliation with your God or His enemies, I stand neutral."
Kaini moved up from slightly frightened to frightened, but it was shown by him trying to plant his feet somehow, "Why did you bring me here? And what the hell was she talking about?" he gestured to Palette.
Himitsu turned towards Palette, holding up her hand towards Eriol in hopes he would understand to not react towards Kaini, "She has powers. That is all you need to know. There are things... there are things that will be revealed to you over time if you hang out with your siblings."
Kaini blinked. Plural? "Uh.... I only have one brother..."
Himitsu would have facepalmed had she not been in unreadable mode. He was right, she had slipped up, "Your family, then. But that is not the topic at hand. You know they could destroy you if you faced them, correct?"
