"Four days," Souji stated. "The Weather Channel said it would ran for four days, and heavy fog would move in on the fifth."
That was rather different from what Naoya had said. "I dunno... What if the Weather Channel's wrong?" K1 asked. "It's not right all of the time, after all."
"It was always right back home," Souji said. "I see no reason to believe it'll be wrong here."
"...Naoya said something different, though..." K1 mumbled.

Yuugi looked between the two... well, voices. The darkness meant he could only guesstimate as to their location. Souji or Naoya... that was a dilemma his psyche didn't feel ready to handle. He trusted Naoya about as far as he could throw him, so to speak, but if there was even a chance that there was less time than Souji predicted... was it a chance he could take.
He opened his mouth and had to brace himself against a wall when a voice similar to his... no. Similar to Atem's spoke up behind him. He jerked around, expecting to... well, no, not in this darkness. But the barely off version of Atem's voice had sounded like it was coming from right behind him. And he wasn't the only one. As the voice spoke, the World would cause K1 and Souji to think it was right behind each of them.
"How rude. To raid my tomb and then choose to leave before I can entertain you? Come, the darkness in your heart shall be your grave..."

K1 quite simply jumped so high that his hair was standing on end. Scary voices from out of nowhere were NEVER good in these kind of cases.
"Ignore it! It's just the shadow talking," Souji yelled. Despite this, he pulled out the tarot card he used to summon his personae, just in case.

Yuugi's eyes widened at Souji's comment, "Doesn't that mean he's in danger!? We can't just leave him here!" His voice was shaking, and it was clear he was beginning to cry again.
It was true he didn't trust Naoya... but he couldn't gamble with Atem's life. If Naoya said they had less time, he had to believe the man. He turned towards where he had last heard K1's voice, "How much time did Kimura-san... I mean, your cousin, say Atem has?"
His voice was desperate, but the question might not have boded well with Souji. Yuugi knew the forecast was often wrong in his world. And the evidence showed that was true of K1's world as well. Two out of three, the odds indicated that Souji's world was the odd one out in this case. And he couldn't risk it. He had no idea how Naoya had come upon a different conclusion that the tools used for weather forecasts, but if Atem died because they went with Souji... he squeezed his eyes shut as tears rolled down his face. It was likely Souji and K1 heard the sniffling sobs.

"I agree with Yuugi, if his shadow's talking, then maybe it's already gotten to Atem? What if it goes berserk!?" K1 said angrily. He was on edge. Yuugi seemed to be breaking down, there were voices coming from out of nowhere, oh, and there were shadowy creatures inhabiting this place that could very easily kill you. And it was dark.
He turned to Souji, who at least could be located thanks to the glow of the tarot card. "Here's an idea: why don't we just go on out and get some flashlights?"
"Calm down, Keiichi," Souji said. He could sense how tense K1 was getting, and in a situation like this, where they only had a few days to rescue someone, staying calm was vital. "And besides, do you remember how exhausted you were the last time you came in here? If we left and came right back in, you'd be too exhausted to move."

And now they were fighting. Because of him. It wasn't an all out fight. Really, Yuugi would have preferred that. Jounouchi and Honda usually only got over fights after actually getting into a fight. It was one of those quiet fights that simmered. But K1 hadn't answered his question.
"B-but..." he shook his head. Crying made it hard to understand a person, "But how much time do we have?" Yuugi jerked as he heard a noise before realizing it was either Souji or K1 shifting their weight. They did need light, "...would fire work for light?"
And what if he's right? What if Atem's in immediate danger? Is he guaranteed to be okay until the fog...?

K1 turned to Yuugi. "If I had a demon that could keep a constant flame burning, maybe, but I can't think of any that can at the moment. Even if I had one cast Agi for long periods of time, it would eventually run out of energy."
Souji moved his hand along the walls. Didn't these kind of places have little convienent torches on the walls that the heroes could use in movies? It looked like that wasn't the case in real life... shame.

Yuugi looked at his feet, "Seta-kun says we have four days... what does your cousin say...?"
He sounded like he'd managed to get his crying under control again. He turned backwards as he waited for a response. He'd made his decision. He had to trust Naoya in this case. And besides all that, what could the man hope to gain from having a shorter forecast? A longer one could be an attempt to kill Atem, but a shorter one?
He heard Souji brushing his hands against the wall. He realized what he was looking for. He doubted there were any there. There had been a bit of light shone inside the few times the doorway opened, and he hadn't seen anything of the sort. The place would likely be riddled with traps... it would take a while to get to Atem...

"Two days, counting today," K1 said. "The fog will come the day after tomorrow. And Naoya's always been right, too. That's why I say we should hurry."
Souji sighed. "If you insist. I don't much like the idea of fumbling around in the dark for a while, though..." There were bound to be traps too, worse ones than the ones in Yuugi's reality for sure.

Yuugi was extremely torn at the moment. There was some pretty extreme danger here, but he couldn't ask to go alone. Not because he didn't think he could, although that was part of it. But because he didn't want to make his friends make that decision. Besides, they'd likely say no. He glanced down the hall and nodded, "Maybe there will be lights up ahead? I don't think we can just leave this..."
Two days. Counting today. Could they make it with just one day? They knew where the area was and how to get in... "Seta-kun, can we make it one day?"
He was panicked. He had to ask the most level-headed person. And Souji knew these places...

Souji turned to Yuugi. "Make it though here in one day? If we run, yes. We'll have to be extra careful about avoiding shadows, though. Fighting them can shave off precious time we could use to save Atem."
K1 knew Souji was right, but he still felt mad about something. Well, a lot of things. It had been a very crazy past few days. The way that Souji was acting at the moment was what made him the most mad. The silver-haired teen seemed oblivious to how he'd hurt Yuugi.

Yuugi shook his head. They couldn't risk it then, "I'm going to go ahead then..."
He waited for the reaction of the others. Sure, they couldn't see very well, but if they talked they could stay in contact with each other. Yuugi traced his fingers on the wall. He could make out the shapes, but he wasn't very good with Egyptian. He knew some glyphs, like the one for "dark". Things like the words that were on the Puzzle and the Egyptian Gods. But if Atem's shadow was taunting them, and the shadow was the expression of one's dark side...
Counting on being able to avoid the shadows was a very stupid idea. Would they go with him? He had made his decision. He was going further, no matter what Souji and K1 chose to do.
(OOC: Hopefully Souji has a Goho thinger, right? XD)

Souji and K1 simultaneously stepped forward.
"No way," Souji said. "You'll get ripped apart if you go by yourself. You're still not that good of a fighter."
"And all you've got demon-wise is Kobold, right?" K1 asked. "Kobold attacks first and asks questions later. What if you run into a... I dunno, a Rangda or something?"
"...Keiichi, Rangda is a Persona, not a Shadow."
"Didn't you say they were the same thing?"
In any case, it didn't look like they were going to let Yuugi go by himself.

Yuugi had turned around while he was waiting for a response, his anxiety making him about ready to run off without one. They likely heard the footstep eerily echo through the halls. But it was just one step. He made a fist with his free hand and tightened his grip around the sword with the other.
This was... strange. He didn't feel that depressed right now. Rather, he felt angry. They were saying he should leave and risk Atem's life just because he wasn't "good enough"? Why didn't they offer to go with him then? Did they not understand his emotions? Jounouchi would. Anzu wouldn't but his friends could talke her into it. Even Kaiba would let him go, knowing it was a waste of time to talk to him about this. A few tears rolled down his face, but they were more from anger.
"I can't abandon him..."
His mind flicked back to the first encounter with Malik. Well, Malik's puppets, as it had been Bandit Keith he had fought. If Jounouchi and Honda hadn't shown up, he probably would have died in that burning building trying to save Atem. This was different. This was death. He couldn't save himself at the risk of Atem's life...
"I have to go..." it was oddly serious for Yuugi. He turned his head slightly, but was ready to run. He'd have to if they tried to grab him. He couldn't just leave Atem... he couldn't.

"Yuugi, wait!" K1 said, and ran after Yuugi. This was turning bad fast. He, of course, had no idea Yuugi would start running too.
Souji was more worried they'd both run right into a trap.
