Atem and Minato reached the arcade relatively quickly. Atem turned to Minato and nodded a bit, "I'm taking a bit of a break."
The body language shift that had occured back at the ITS occured in reverse. A less poised stance and a softer gazed appeared. Yuugi looked around the arcade for a few seconds before turning to Minato, "Do you have any favorite two player arcade games?"
He didn't explain the shift. The time he had spent in the puzzle had shown quite clearly Minato understood the situation just as well if not better than his close friends. And if Atem had decided Minato was worth trusting, Yuugi wasn't about to argue that. Yuugi had no problem admiting Atem had a better sense of who was dangerous than he did.
Yuugi paused. A thought had occured to him, "Ah... I hope the machines take yen..."

"I had heard from some the arcade was fun, but in all honesty, this is the first time I've been to one," Minato said. Suddenly there was a crash and Minato turned to see someone had faceplanted on the ground behind him. However, said other guy's shoes were untied.
"Ughhh... these things... all the time," he groaned, picking himself up as he began to tie them again.

Yuugi was about to reply to Minato when the "other guy" faceplanted. He ran over to the new arrival.
"Are you okay!?"
Yuugi offered his hand to help the person up. Although with his height (or more accurately, lack there of) there was a chance it wouldn't be as helful as it could be.

"I'm fine," the other guy said. "Sorry, but I can pick myself up."
"... Oh, it's you," Minato said with a groan. "You're still around?"
"Do you have a problem with me?" Michael asked, smirking.
"You know what," Minato said, not emphasizing due to Yugi being there.

Yuugi wasn't sure what to make of the situation. The guy seemed to be fine although he was picking up on hints of subtle animosity between the two.
"Not that subtle..." Atem told Yuugi.
Yuugi looked to the blank space to his side and nodded. He walked over to the machines to see if they took yen coins. He didn't have any money from this world so he wasn't sure what to do if they didn't. He actually had a few American dollars in his wallet as well. He hadn't remembered to convert it after the time spent in America.

"They take all money," Michael said, walking over to an arcade machine and summoning a dollar bill to put in the arcade slot. "They're specially designed that way."
"What are you doing here?" Minato asked.
"Not to make your life a living hell this time, so don't panic," Michael responded, starting to play the game.

Yuugi saw the dollar bill appear in Michael's hand. A magic trick?
"No... I didn't pick up on any sleight of hand." Atem spoke and only Yuugi heard.
Yuugi chose not to comment on how cool Michael's ability was, afraid it would distract him from the game. He gestured to Minato with one hand and pointed at a racing machine with the other. He was pretty out of the loop as to their past, but knew it would be rude to pry.
"Wanna play?" asked Yuugi.

Minato looked at the racing machine. Curious as to how good he might be and how good Yuugi would be, he nodded. "Sure," he answered politely.

The way Yuugi's face lit up showed that it wasn't just his stature that many would consider childish. He looked like a kid in a candy store at the moment. He ran over to the machine and waited for Minato to sit down before pulling out two 100 yen coins. He offered one to Minato as soon as he sat down.

There wasn't a flash from the camera as Michael managed to sneak a picture of Yuugi before placing it back in his pocket, not looking away from his game to do this. Minato sat down at the racing game and thanked Yuugi for the coin before putting it in.

(OOC: I have no idea what I'm doing here, I've never played a racing arcade game in my life, so I'm totalling winging it. XD I only know they exist as two player games thanks to anime. *cough* - I also know nothing about cars... - Also feel free to advance this as much as you like. I plan on having Yuugi lose, so as long as you're creative with that have fun. XD)
The games loaded for both Yuugi and Minato. Yuugi picked a car with a purple and black color scheme and the number 10 on the side of it. The game waited for Minato to make his choice before starting.

Minato chose a car with a black and red color scheme, the number 01 on the side. He didn't have much experience at games, he knew this much, but he figured if he did his best, he could win.

The screen counted down and the checkered flag on each player's screens fell. Yuugi had never actually played a racing game before. The arcades in town had always been full of gang members and he rarely went because of it. He would have asked Jounouchi and Honda to go, but he didn't want to get either of them into any more trouble than they already tended to get into. Jounouchi especially.
He was surprised at how well he was doing and the 1st and 2nd places seemed to be switching every couple of seconds.

Both of them were inexperienced, it seemed, but Minato, who always had more focus and concentration in whatever task he was completing, seemed to have the upperhand. That's weird, he thought. I was sure he'd be better then me.

Atem kept quiet so as to not break Yuugi's concentration. It seemed Yuugi was holding back a little... It was annoying. And besides that, even when his partner wasn't holding back he kept missing opportunities.
Atem had always been more situationally aware this Yuugi. He decided he couldn't put up with Yuugi holding back and took the risk of distracting him.
"Don't hold back. A fight is never over until you can't fight anymore..."
Yuugi jerked as he felt Atem's hand on his shoulder. He nodded to what looked like himself and tried harder. It looked like he was leading and the timer was winding down and the finish line was coming into view. But Minato did have better focus, whether Yuugi gave it his all or not...
(OOC: Okay, go win now. XD)
