Mounatin Romp (me, DCH and Gantz)

Shock Wave hit it's mark sending Enn sliding backwards. He was stunned a quick moment... Just long enough for Kaz's water attack to hit him front and center. By the looks of things, all the water seemed to do was get Enn soppin wet, though he was barely hurt by the attack. Looking upward, he managed to jump aside, just as Volcano's Thunder Punch came down. It slammed the ground with mighty force though Enn hardly looked deterred... Though he NEVER looked deterred anyways.

Finally, Miles' attack came last. Enn barely had time to jump out of the way when he felt the earth under his feet move around. Using a front flip to land, Enn considered his competition carefully. They proved to be pretty tough, and can even use elemental attacks. Volcano was easy enough to handle since he was naturally inclined to Fire Magic, though that thunder punch was something to be concerned about. Kaz and Tua seemed like mild threats, since there attacks seemed relatively low in strength, though Tua's was pretty high up there. Miles meanwhile, he wasn't sure about him... Well, there was still the rest of the fight to figure it out.

Raising his fists, Enn decided on a course of action.

His first target was going to be Miles. He decided not to find out just how much of a threat that crocodile looking creature could be. Launching three spheres of fire energy, that blew up like bombs around Miles, he jumped up and swung out a powerful roundhouse kick.

"Nothing? I'll try a stronger one then." Kaz/Nauthilax said, forming two balls of water in his hands. "Rip Tide!" Right after throwing the two balls of water, they turned into two large torrents of water before they both hit the skeleton.

Miles was hit by the explosions, then by Enn's kick, the former doing more damage than the latter. However, he was a high level, and was a species with high stamina. His Earthquake attack hadn't knocked the skeleton off-guard was he planned, but hey, at least he knows not what to do from now on. He felt the water building up in his mouth, waiting to be unleashed. With a loud roar, he unleashed a jet of water from his jaw, coming out with enough force to break through iron. It was a Hydro Pump attack, aimed at Enn.

Tua noted her attack's minimal effect on the skeleton, sighing internally. Maybe this new attack would work better. She jumped into the air, body crackling with electricity. "Thunderbolt!!"

Volcano just stood there, charging up energy for a Focus Punch.

Enn was momentarily surprised at the Hydro Pump before he barely moved out of the way...

This movement however, made him vulnerable to the Rip Tide attack, which slammed the skeleton front and center. Launched upward, he did a quick back flip and landed back on the ground...

That was when Thunderbolt hit.

CRACK-OW!!!!!!!!!

It looked like the attack did some considerable damage, especially since he was still wet from the two water attacks Kaz had landed on him previously, but the skeleton had faced worse. He was FAR from being finished.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That was when things got different, with a single movement, the skeleton pulled out a huge sword from his person, and appeared to get even more enraged by the second. With a powerful swing of the sword, several fire spells (Up to 4 in number) materialized from the swing and was shot out.

BOOM.

Apparently they were the equivalent of Firaga spells, cause those tended to explode with more force then most fire spells. Now, it was unsure of which targets it was able to hit, but one thing that WAS known is if it hit Volcano, it would've caused a small amount of damage from the sheer power, but the resistance to fire magic was more then enough to keep it from being too severe.

When Kaz was hit with the blast, a light-blue flash of code shone for a second before Kaz was blown to the ground. He was in his human form again, his Nauthilax card having run out of energy.

"Either I used a bad scan or that hit really hard." Kaz said.

Volcano and Miles were both grateful for their type's resistance to fire, their high levels, and their species relatively solid Special Defense. They both got up, though the Blaziken had been forced to abandon his Focus Punch. "Is... Is that all you've got?"

Tua on the other hand was a different story. She was the lowest level of the three, and her species was known for for its physical rather than special abilities. To top it all off, she had been burned by the attack. Not only would her physical attacks have only half their regular power, her stamina would drop. "Shoot... know I know what it feels like to be Teala after she uses Draco Meteor too many times, except with the physical and special swapped... or Tanachu when she's burned..." her offense was now limited to Shock Wave, Hidden Power, Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Discharge, and in a last resort, Thunder. She got up slowly, charging up that last resort.

Enn looked between the bunch trying to distinguish the bigger threat amongst them; he had managed to handle Kaz, whom returned to his human form, and Tua appeared badly weakened...

Well aiming for them didn't seem too honorable to Enn, after all they were down and they couldn't attack, might as well leave it at that. Noticing Volcano and Miles getting back up, he prepped his sword for another round.

Before you ask, he had indeed noticed Tua's charging energy, and made a quick mental note to keep a close eye on her. One wasn't a soldier for so many many years without learning to not underestimate your opponents.

Meanwhile, further down the mountain, slowly climbing up, one could find a girl around her teen years with blonde hair slowly making her way up the rocks.

Leona Weissheit was known for very few things, and physical exhertion was not one of them. So what was she doing climbing up the side of Mt. Bonsai?

"Gggggghh." She grunted as she found a good hand hold and pulled herself up. Panting, she reached to her back to make sure that the backpack that carried her things was still there. Upon seeing that they were, she went back to desperately catching her breath. "(pant, pant, pant, pant) I (Pant) I really hope (Pant) That rumor was (Pant) true..."

Back in Void City she had heard a rumor of some kind of mysterious source of power up on this mountain, and she was set on finding it... Maybe, JUST MAYBE, it would give her the ability to return to Radiata and learn the fate of her friends...

Or maybe not, but she was definately hopeful...

What really concerned her however as she went further into the area was that the sound of explosions was drawing closer and closer. Though frightened, she decided to not let it bother her. She was THIS close to finally finding a way home, and she would not be paralyzed by fear.

Kaz got back up and brought the display back up on his scanner. "Nauthilax may not take fire well, but Chaor can." He said with a smile as he tapped the card and transformed into the Underworld leader.

"I'd like to see you try to blow this guy away." Kaz/Chaor said as a red heptagonal shaped object appeared in his hand. He held up the mugic as he cast the damage-dealing spell. "Canon of Casualty!"

Miles did a sort of fighting dance, claws and teeth gleaming, looking sharper and more lethal. It was Swords Dance, a support move that would increase the damage of his physical attacks, though his special attacking ability would suffer. Volcano merely pounded his fists together, ready to go. Their abilities were kicking in, Torrent and Blaze boosting the power of water and fire, respectively. The gator charged with the force of a waterfall at Enn, while the chicken began to take in sunlight.

Tua was feeling her legs shake, all of her power being focused into her next attack. "Come on... hold out just a little longer..."

Enn quickly reverted to Human form, and barely dodged the Waterfall attack... And by barely, I mean he could practically feel the force behind the attack. If he got hit by THAT it would've knocked him out regardless of him being undead or not. He quickly regained his balance, by landing on his hands and using them to jump up with a backflip, landing back down with the grace of a cat...

His eyes widened in surprise when he saw the heptagonal beam flying right at him. Ducking down, he just barely managed to clear the beam as it flew over him. After all, anything that's named 'Cannon of Casualty' was MORE then bound to cause damage.

Unfortunately for Leona, when Enn dodged the beam, she had just barely managed to climb up the side of the cliff. Panting in a tired fashion, she struggled to catch her second wind as she took off her backpack and set it aside. "Gah (pant pant pant pant pant) Whoa... What a climb..." She looked back down to find the climb she had just made awaiting her view... It'd be one heck of a fall if she did indeed fall. "I... I didn't think it... It was that... That high..."

Panting, she looked around a moment. "I (Pant) I wonder wh-(Pant) where this p-power source is..."

That was when she finally looked to her right...

And saw the 'Cannon of Casualty' beam making it's way towards her.

"......................................"

After a stunned reaction, the next one that came to mind was...

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She should count herself lucky she was able to scramble away from the beam before it blew up the ledge she had just climbed over.

Oh c'mon! Mugic doesn't miss like that in Chaotic! What's it gonna take to beat this guy?! Kaz thought. Maybe I can get him to slip up and reveal a weakness or something.

"Shadow Strike!" Kaz/Chaor called. Chaor's shadow then stretched over to the skeleton before jumping up to attack.

Miles gave a slight growl at his attack being dodged... and yet he was grinning. "Not bad at all... Shame that you're not on our side!!" and with that, he began to charge, backed up with a torrent of water. Aqua Jet may only have half the power of Waterfall, but at least it's faster.

Tua had finished charging up her last resort of Thunder, and her body was completely enveloped in lightning. A bolt came from her body, merging with a beam of solar energy fired by Volcano. With Aqua Jet's ramming power combining with the raw power of Thunder and Solarbeam, it's going to leave a mark.

Enn was back on his feet when he saw the attacks coming his way; currently he was in human form, but Enn didn't need to be a rocket scientist to know he wouldn't have enough speed to dodge this oncoming attack. So he decided to do the opposite; standing his ground, he decided to go for a well-timed Counter.

That move had saved him thousands of times during his battles. All he needed to do was wait for just the RIGHT MOMENT then whip up a barrier around himself. The force would cause any attack to bounce off, and reverse the force. For physical attacks, this meant the reversed force would temporarily stun the attacker, while for projectile attacks, it would send the attack right back at it's user. But ultimately, this move had a drawback; the timing had to be deadset perfect, otherwise the barrier would whip up as normal and only slightly cushion the attack not stop it altogether.

Waiting for the attacks to come, he prepared to whip up his barrier. That's right just time it perfectly, time it per-

"U-Um... Excuse me?"

Enn, against every known law of the warrior, turned his gaze behind him...

And saw Leona looking at his human form with a curious and timid glance.

"C-can you tell me where I can find-"

Enn quickly turned back when he felt the Solar Beam and Thunder attack merge together...

WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miles attack hit first, and I daresay if that body had any working veins in that body it woulda spit up blood.

Leona screamed at the sight of Miles... And dove aside when she saw the beams coming... ... ...

However, Enn would not be done in so easily...

'SHWING!!!!!!'

It was likely unbelievable, but there it was, despite the fact that he shoulda been knocked out, his barrier whipped up at just the right time to counter the Solar Beam/Thunder combo, sending it right back at the people that had blasted them out.

Regardless of where it hit, Enn hit the ground. It looked like Miles attack had succeeded in hurting him, quite a bit actually, but in video game perspective, he still had half his life bar left (And the Solar Beam/Thunder Combo would've done in the rest) and he could still take quite a few more hits, so that came as no surprise...

What DID come as a surprise was when Enn looked up at Leona his glare deadly...

Apparently he was able to somehow think Leona was with this group, distracting him just at that fatal moment.

He nearly got blown to smithereens thanks to her...

And she would NOT get away with it...

"About time we got a good hit on him." Kaz/Chaor said. He then looked to see a woman not too far from where the skeleton was knocked down.

"Hey! Get out of here! It's not safe!" He yelled at her.

Tua felt her legs give in as she launched her Thunder attack, not really noticing the electric attack being reflected back at her. Volcano gave what was presumably the Blaziken equilvalent of a curse, and crossed his arms together to brace for impact. It was Endure, a move that he could only pull off when pushed to the brink of defeat. It would keep him standing, but just barely. And barely standing meant that Reversal would be at it peak. He communicated with Miles in their native cries, formulating a battle plan. The Feraligatr shot a hand signal back at Volcano, knowing exactly what the chicken had in mind.

One would wonder why the crocodile was charging at Enn with the somewhat inaccurate Aqua Tail, if it wasn't for Volcano getting pumped up for a last-ditch Reversal attack. Miles called out to the woman. "Get out! It's too dangerous!!"
