However, Leona was frozen stock still in place, terrified beyond rational thought. Did that Alligator thing just TALK?!?

Enn meanwhile was quick to push himself back up... Man he was NOT liking where this was going. Thanks to that girl, he was weakened and open for attack. The High Seraph be damned if he'd let himself be defeated, but still things weren't looking too good. With that thought aside however he turned to Leona a brief instant...

What was that girl DOING?!?!? She's IN their line of fire!!!

Staring down the line of fire, the girl could only yell out one thing. "H-HELP!!!!!"

Enn was scowling greatly at this point. This girl was gonna get herself killed!..

But the High Seraph be damned if HE would allow that to happen. With a fast movement, he shoved the girl out of the way, her landing with a painful face plant, though she had suffered through admitably more painful landings. Holding out his arms, casting out a small fireball, making sure it stayed in place right in front of him...

Then showing great agility, he managed to jump over Miles attack, leaving him facing down the tiny fireball, which, since he was closer to it, could hear it ticking...

Of course, he found himself staring down the Reversal attack as it came his way. Knowing full well he couldn't dodge in mid-air twice, he held up his arms. Hopefully one well aimed reflect would keep him from getting hurt.

Kaz was watching as the skeleton seemed to push the girl out of the way of the oncoming attack. Bad guys don't normally care about innocent people getting hurt.

"Did he just save her?" Kaz said, more to himself than anyone else.

Miles stopped, and commanded for Volcano to follow. He was not sure if the chicken heard him or not. He wondered, was this all a big misunderstanding? "... A villain wouldn't protect a civilian in most cases..."

Unfortunately for Miles, Volcano's attack was still going on. And from the looks of it, the chicken was PISSED and acting more like his type combination's stereotype of being hot-blooded and temperamental.

Enn responded to the response of his actions based on who he saw first. Basically speaking, he saw Volcano still attacking him so he pretty much reacted in kind. "RAGGH!!!!!" Defending against the 'Reversal' attack with a very effective block, he countered with a powerful right hook, but that didn't appear to take out Volcano, though he crashed into the ground a few feet away from Enn.

Back with Leona, she looked to the continued fight looking confused as the skeleton transformed back into his human form for his speed advantage. With a wide-eyed look, she tried to think out what had just happened. "Did he just-"

That was when Enn turned to her, giving her a hardened look. With a stomp, he began walking over to her, fists clenched tightly...

Oh that couldn't be good...

Leona was beyond panicking at this point. "W-w-wai-! P-Plea-!!!" Enn was standing over her at this point, Fist raised. "Wait!!!! Please STOP!!!!! Have mercy!!!!"

And strangely enough, that's just what Enn did.

He looked like he was frozen in place... After a while, he slowly lowered his fist. His face never changing he stood still a moment...

When Leona chanced a look up, she saw Enn's hand reaching out for her's in a gentlemanly fashion, though his face still remained unchanged.

Leona could only look up at the man in bewilderment.

"Wait, so... What's going on?" Kaz said. He just wasn't sure what to think about this. And if he was supposed to be a good guy, why did he just jump out and attack?

As Volcano fell down to earth, Miles tried to keep his calm as he examined the situation. If the undead warrior truly was not their enemy, then what had happened? Well, he seemed to be helping that girl... And I thought getting into pointless fights was Tanachu's job..., thought the gator. "... I'm starting to think this is all a giant misunderstanding."

Leona, at first, didn't know how to respond to the undead man's kindness... After a second, she hesitantly raised a hand up before taking the warrior's hand. After a second, Enn pulled Leona to her feet, showing something of an air of gentleness almost. Just so the record is set, Enn was currently in his human form, as he did this.

Once on her feet, she lowered her head, unable to think of what to say... "Th... Thank you..." She finally said after a second. Another few seconds passed, she finally chanced a look up to the undead in human form. "Who... Who are you?"

Enn only stood where he was, not answering.

The girl tilted her head in confusion, why wasn't he answering? "Well..." This was so unlike her, she rarely even said an entire sentence without a stutter somewhere being so shy... But she was curious. "W-where are you from?"

Again Enn didn't answer, standing stock still expression flat.

After a few seconds, Leona put together that he wasn't about to answer that question either. Deciding to think carefully, she looked up to the man's face. "W-what's the matter?" Curiosity was now speaking over common sense. "C-can't you talk?"

.................... Finally she did get a response.

Enn shook his head no, his facial expressions never changing.

The girl's eyes widened at this, hands at her mouth, "Oh! I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean-" Enn merely held up a hand, a sign meaning that the comment pretty much meant nothing by him.

Enn's gaze then turned to Kaz, Volcano and the others giving them a suspicious look. It seemed strange that they were no longer attacking...

Kaz changed from Chaor back into his human form. It looked pretty obvious that the fight was over.

"Uh, sorry?" Kaz said, shrugging his shoulders.

Miles put his hands into a 'I'm not up for a fight now' position, while Volcano and Tua got up, the former rubbing his head and the latter attempting to stand. The giant gator was the first to speak. "... Well, that was embarrassing on our behalf!" he gave a sort of good-natured/nervous laugh, while the overgrown chicken merely turned away and crossed his arms, muttering something that sounded like 'I don't care', while the lioness Pokemon just looked confused.

"Hey, Kaz... any idea as to what's going on?"

Where Enn didn’t seem to understand what was going on, Leona seemed to piece it together. Turning to Enn, she tilted her head, seeming confused. “They don’t seem like bad-guys… And if you’re not a bad guy, why did you attack them?”

Enn lowered his head, his hand behind his head to scratch absentmindedly; a sign meaning that it was an honest mistake on his part. With that sign conveyed, he looked back to Leona, lifting an eyebrow curiously. Leona could only look back at him, equally confused. “Wh-what is it?”

In truth, even though Enn couldn’t properly say it, Leona actually reminded him of someone he knew. Maybe it was the blonde hair, maybe it was the green eyes, that looked similar to the blue ones he had seen before… Ah, whatever. Shaking his head, Enn turned back to the gang before him, looking at them blankly a moment. After a moment, he closed the distance between himself and the odd creatures. Once he was directly in front of Miles…

He made a motion similar to unrolling a piece of paper, before holding out a hand. If Miles was smart, he would be able to figure out that he was curious about the map he had seen in their possession some time before. Leona could only watch on, looking a bit confused.

"I don't think this guy is a villian like everyone first thought." Kaz answered. "I don't get why he just jumped out and attacked us, but apparently he doesn't want to hurt us now. Maybe we all just kinda took something the wrong way."

Of course, Miles had a big brain, and was easily able to figure out what Enn was saying. It was about the map they had in their possession. He motioned for Tua for something, and she walked over, handing the gator the map from the sack around her midsection. Unrolling it, the Feraligatr showed it to the undead man.

"I am to assume this it what you were saying, correct?"

Enn nodded, before taking the map. Looking at the map closely, Enn was somewhat surprised to see several spots on the map marked. But even more surprising was the landmass the map depicted. It certainly didn't look like any map of 5th Earth. Reading over the thing carefully, he found a place that was marked as 'Bonsai Mountain'. Looking up from the map, he found a few Bonsai plants nearby…

Okay, at least now he knew where he was. But still where was here? Before too long he found a name at the bottom of the map. ‘Dimensional Island’… That was another step. But now there was something else that caught his attention. With how this map was marked the way it was, one would almost assume it was a treasure map of some kind… But a treasure map of what?

“Hmmm… Kinda looks like a treasure map…”

Enn wasn’t necessarily surprised to find Leona standing next to him, looking at the map herself. “This is really interesting.” Looking up from the map, she looked to the group to which the map belonged. “Why is this map marked? Is it supposed to be a treasure map? And if it is, what does it lead to?” Rolling up the map, Enn pointed a thumb to Leona and nodded; obviously he had been wondering the same thing.

"We kinda found it not too long ago. It's a map to some special items called the Four Relics and Sixteen Shards. We came here looking for one of them." Kaz answered.

"Yeah, I found that map in the abandoned bar down in Void City, and that's where Kaz found me. Volcano- he's the overgrown chicken with the bad attitude- and Miles- he's the blue gator- were here to begin with." Tua stated, though she was eying Leona a bit uneasy. "Um, you're not going to throw a Poke Ball at me, are you?"

Miles couldn't help by sigh internally at Tua's fear of humans, remembering what the map looked like. It was written in a tongue that had died out centuries ago, and it depicted the Dimensional Island. "... The Four Relics and the Sixteen Shards... Hmm, I may know something about them. I'll explain as we go along."
