"A dickey?!" asked Bender. "They still make those? Wow, you are sadistic, Santa"

"WHAT!?" Eddy made a high-pitched screech. "You gotta be KIDDING me! I've been good! I've been helping people out! Gimme a break!!"
"He does have a point," Fleetfoot remided.

"Nonsense! This was on your Christmas-list!" Santa exclaimed. With a breeze of ancient, arctic air, Santa produced a tattered piece of animal skin with writing on it.
"See? Every Christmas, you specifically request nothing but clothes." Santa pointed out, pointing to the handwriting. It obviously wasn't Eddy's-- for one thing, it was too neat and spelling errors were few and far between.
Of course, if Eddy paid attention he would recognize the handwriting; it was a style he had seen since he was young and which he often saw in postcards from someone who'd left home long ago...

Double D too recognized the handwriting, blanching. "...oh dear..." Slowly, he directed a pitying glance towards Eddy. At first, he stood agawk. Then, his face fumed an angry red.
"ARRRRRRGHH!!"
Fletcher sweatdropped. "Erm...care to enlighten us, Eddward?"
"That's, um... his older brother's handwriting."

Santa paused. "Hmm. You know, I really should have picked up on that." He mused, rubbing his bearded chin.

Elisia spotted the beard moving and padded up to bat at it like any normal Cat would. "elisia!" the charmelon on Charlies shoulder cried out while charlie and the young lion watched eddy.

"Wow, that's a big cat." Badness muttered. "... And strangely interested in things several feet above it."
"My cat's racoon is the same way." Psycho mused. Badness stared at him. "... You don't have a cat. You have a racoon." "Meh." Psycho shrugged it off. "I'll fix it in the edit."
"What the--?!" Badness stuttered at the impossibility of Psycho's action. "How'd you do that?!" "Easy." Psycho answered.
...
... And that was it, pretty much.
Santa gently pushed Elisia away before turning his attention to the rest of the gifts. Turning his sack up-side down, just the right number of gifts fell out-- one for everyone... except Bender.
There were just two people left: Edd and Marian.
"Eddward," Santa said seriously, "I have a special gift for you."

The young lion padded over and picked his sister up gently in his claw before dragging her back to charlie.

Double D stood in awe as Santa approached them, his daughter's eyes wide with wonder. Ed added in a little coo of wonder from the side, just to add to the overall emotion.
"Y...yes, sir?"

"Poor, poor Eddy," Masahiro said, shaking his head softly.

"It's a trap! It's probably a punch in the face!" shouted Bender. "You better let me take it so you don't have to get hurt in front of your kid."

"Hush, Mr. Rodriguez!" Santa exclaimed before turning his attention back to Edd. "Now... when you return to your apartment, you'll find a present for your daughter. On your table, wrapped in red paper, will be a rattle made out of ivory. If your daughter is truly in trouble, and she shakes that rattle... I'll hear it."
Then, gently, Santa put his hand on Edd's shoulder. "Now, Eddward, tell me... what are your feelings, now that you know the truth? The truth about the Wizard?"

Double D knew what was asked of him was serious, but he only hesitated for a second. His feelings were already confirmed before, and he was always willing to remind himself.
"I...I'm not afraid. I'm not going to let this information break me. That's what he wants, and the LAST thing I want to do is give him what he wants." A pause, where he looked over his friends. "I have people to depend on, and who depend on me as well. I protect them, and they consistently remind me what it means to be human... to love and to be loved. I will never, ever lose sight of that."

Santa gave Edd a stern look... and smiled.
"Thats what I hoped to hear, Eddward." He chuckled as he reached into his sack and produced a thin volume with a red ribbon tied to the top.
"Edd, your present is... a coloring book." Santa laughed as he handed the book to Edd, prompting strange looks from Badness.
Santa glanced at Badness angrily before looking back at Edd calmly. "This coloring book is the way the Wizard wants the world," Santa opened up the book to a fantastic scene, colorless but breathtaking nonetheless, "Black-and-white; neat. But you can color the world. Fill it with beauty and chaos: color outside the lines, go against your nature!"
