At first, Double D wasn't quite sure what to say, but as Santa explained it meaning, his heart melted, pouring out in emotional tears. A big smile then came to his face, ear to ear, the happiest smile that had come to his face in a long, long while.
"I...I will," he promised, taking it into hand. Marion giggled again, cooing in approval. "...th-thank you so much, dear St. Nick."
"AWWWWWWW!!" To no one's surprise, Ed awwed in happiness, pinching his cheeks. He elbowed Eddy playfully, as even he seemed affected by the gift that was meaningful beyond all words. "Santa rocks, don't he?"

"Sorta like Okami?" asked Bender as he tried to use his extend-o-arms to reach into Santa's sack.

"Wait... aren't you from the future?" Badness asked Bender. "How do you know about a video game made in the 21st century that didn't even sell very well?"
Before Bender could make a grab at anything, the Krampus bit a chunk out of his arm with its fierce, ancient teeth.
"Well, I have some more houses to visit!" Santa exclaimed, closing up his bag of toys with a smile. "The folks down at the hospital in Bonsai Village, for starters. But, Eddward, I don't want you to forget what I told you." Santa smiled proudly.
"... Oh, and buy your own crayons!" Santa asked awkwardly. "I didn't include any with your present."
With that, Santa and the Krampus lifted into the air, exiting out the way they came. Miraculously, the hole they had created upon entering sealed itself back up upon their exit. Psycho stared on in amazement. Badness, however...
"... Well, it was obviously a sophisticated anti-gravity device." Badness said skeptically. "Not magic. Nope. No such thing." "But... Santa's real, right?" Psycho asked. Badness nodded. "Well, yeah, obviously."

"GAH!" Bender shouted as the Krampus took a bite out of his arm. "This is because I'm Mexican, ain't it? Racist!"

"Don't worry, Double D, I got some crayons you can use!" Ed smiled brightly. "Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas, indeed." Fletcher put a hand on Double D's shoulder as they all watched Santa ascend. "Are you alright, Eddward?"
"Y-yes..." Double D choked, hugging the book close. "I'll never forget what he told me...never." A pause. "...I just wish...Felix was here to see..."

"I'm sorry for your loss." 4 responded quickly. "Well, there's still a couple hours left until Christmas morning? What do you say we have that party?"
"Nah, I gotta get home." Badness responded as he held his present... a rock. "See, I've gotta get back in time to steal Christmas from Whoville."
Walter nodded, understandingly. "Those freaks have had it too good for too long." He agreed. "I guess that means the rest of us can sit around drinking, playing games, and telling stories... so long as they aren't depressing, like that one about the guy who get born in a barn and then goes and gets hung up over a hill."
June stared at Walter for a few seconds. "... You mean Jesus?" "Yeah, that's the guy; completely kills the Christmas mood."

"You can show him when he comes back, Double D!" Ed smiled, though it faded slightly. "...he IS coming back, right?"
Slowly, he nodded. "...eventually, yes. He has...things to attend to first."
"Well, heck, a party sounds good to me!" Eddy laughed, getting a noogie from Matilde.
"Got that right! No way we're going back to sleep now!"
