Waddle Dee floated on into the Arena on his Parasol. He was searching for a suitable challenger. He had to find one. For the sake of JUSTICE!
Or so he'd been taught, anyways.
Maybe, if he found a strong enough opponent, he could find a new master. And together, they too could fight for the sake of JUSTICE!
...so he thought, anyways.

Ripcurent came bouncing out squeaking at every bounce. he deflated and looked around, he wanted a little practice.

All was quiet as Waddle Dee floated and Ripcurent bounced along. Nothing except the wind.
Until a boot stomped into the dirt, on the other side of the arena.
When they turned his way, Luigi jumped slightly and struck his attempt of a battle pose. He will admit, he was indeed looking for a sparring opponent, but all the other warriors wandering the arena looked... scary.
These guys, though... they looked pretty easy enough.
But something about that Waddle Dee... it was the look in his eyes. It terrified Luigi senseless for a reason he couldn't explain.

Waddle Dee saw that stance. It looked like someone seeking a fight. If someone wanted a fight, he'd give it to them.
So, he did what he could. The Waddle Dee landed a few feet in front of Luigi. He almost assumed a battle stance, and then realized something. Luigi was afraid of him.
The Waddle Dee raised an eyebrow, and then walked up to Luigi before poking him with the umbrella in the stomach.

"AIE!!" Luigi jumped back, pointing a shaky finger at Waddle Dee. "S-stay back! I-I'm warning you!"

Waddle Dee let out a sigh before walking right past Luigi. After going some distance, he turned back around, and walked past again.
Fight, or find someone else? Fight, or find someone else? Waddle Dee thought to himself. This guy is kinda a wimp.

As Waddle Dee walked past him, Luigi let out a sigh. Man, that was way too close.

Waddle Dee heard the challenge to fight and turned towards Ripcurrent.
"Fight? Okay, sure! One question though," Waddle Dee leaned to the side a little bit. "Are you a good guy or a bad guy?"

Realizing Waddle Dee was right behind him, Luigi turned, shreiked, and fell over ungracefully on his butt, pale as a bed sheet.

Waddle Dee scratched his head. "Well, okay then, but give me a sec."
He moved into a battle stance, and then smacked Luigi in the back with his umbrella sending the Mario Brother flying.
"Now that he's done with... let's fight! For the sake of JUSTICE!" Waddle Dee yelled.

"Well we don't have to worry about him any more." Ripcurent shrugged as he fire a weak Mud-shot attack, wanting to test the proverbial water.

Waddle Dee jumped out of the way of the mud slap attack and floated in the air before dropping to the ground and smacking the umbrella down.
