"Get some plasma, stat! And we need to cool him down!" were the first words poor Luka was accosted by as she walked into the hospital. Thing was, it had already calmed down a bit. They had moved Gakupo to the closest room in in ICU, and due to the size of the place, it was visible from the front. The staff seemed to be converging on that point, and it was entirely possible Luka's ears could pick up on the blipping of the heart monitor.
What little there was, as it seemed the person in that room, whose from was concealed by doctors, was fighting for their life. The beeping was rather far apart, almost as if a heart were trying to give out...
(OOC: *throws angst at Luka* Also, there is the potential for a sappy scene here, depending on how much Luka wants to throw her weight around... XD)

Luka watched the scene from the hallway. No matter what, she couldn't break down. Not now. If she broke down, then who would the others look up to? Kaito? He tried to kill them all. Meiko? She spent more time drunk than she did sober.
A single tear rolled down Luka's cheek as she realized that she had begun to cry. She couldn't let anyone see her like this, so she wiped her tears away on her sleeve. It looked like she was trying to wipe something very messy off of her face, the way she was doing it. The tears kept coming, though...

Kaito and Miku sat in silence for a while before Miku climbed out of the van.
"Miku, I--"
"I'm going to check on the others," Miku said. She looked back at Kaito and gave him a glare. "You can stay in here and die for all I care."

Len didn't say anything, he felt sorry for Kaito even though he acted horrible earlier. though Rin saw Luka, she saw tear slide but didn't say anything.

It was then that the haunting sound of a flatline occured. The scurrying had seemed to cut down, and a lot of the staff was in the room. One moved to the side, and if Luka's eyes weren't too muddled with tears, she stood a chance of seeing Gakupo's bare chest, an oxygen mask over his face.
"CLEAR!" could be heard, and Gakupo's body spasmed as the paddles of the defibrilator sent electricity coursing through the unconscious Vocaloid. His form seemed to flicker a bit, and the nurse jumped back. The Vocaloid's body was hidden again as the people in the room moved. It had been about a minute of flatline by now...

There was silence outside the ICU. Miku had walked in at just the wrong time. Luka's heart had seemed to have stopped. She was staring at the scene, tears rolling down her face, and her face white as a sheet.
It was over a minute before Luka said anything. One minute since Gakupo's heart had stopped.
"No... he can't... no, no, no!" Luka screamed.
"Luka, I'm so sorry..." Miku said, and walked up to Luka and moved to put her hand on Luka's shoulder, who just smacked it away. Miku reached back, and then looked down at the ground.

Rin started to cry a bit at the scene, while LEn came out of hiding and ran over to Kaito and siad, "I saw what happened, please don't take her wrong she's still a little out of it right now."

As Miku trailed off, a blip could be heard. The high activity level picked up again in the room, and another blip occured. A staff member ran out of the room and towards the back of the large hut, and as more activity occured the blipping began to fall into a more healthy rythym. The staff stepped back and made room for a doctor and a nurse to go into more routine actions, and the collective sigh of relief could almost be felt by those watching the scene.
The doctor said something to one of the nurses as she left, and she seemed to be making her way towards Luka, Miku, and Rin as she left the room...

Luka looked up once the beeping had started again. "He's alive...?"
Miku gave a smile, and wiped away a tear too. "Thank goodness..."

Rin was relieved a gae a small smile at this news. Len gave a small sigh before saying, "Look, Kaito you aren't going to solve your problems if you act coldly againsts others and seclude people from situations. I just don't want you to be hurt as well as anyone else, I don't want fights or people hating each other. So please, don't hate Miku or anyone she's was a little edgy at the time."

"You are the ones that brought the violet-haired man in, correct?"
She continued after seeing a nod, "He's out of the woods for now, but he still has a high temperature. We'll keep an eye on him but we can't identify the virus, and as such we can't give a solid prognosis. Are any of you family?"
Anyone that knew medical etiquette would know that the nurse had just implied she couldn't give more information to non family members.

Miku and Luka exchanged looks. "In a way..." Miku said.
"We're all Vocaloids. None of us are related by blood, though," Luka explained. She didn't like where this conversation was going...

"I thought I told you to shut your mouth!" he yelled, his hands balled into fists. "I don't have time to deal with your crap!"

The woman thought for a moment, but shook her head, "I'm sorry. Unless you're family or some kind of legal guardian, I can't release any more information..."
She glanced at the Vocaloids, seeming a little worried about their reaction. She jerked when a doctor placed her hand on her shoulder. She turned around as the female doctor spoke, "It's okay. They're related enough for the records. Remember, relations work differently on different worlds. My apologies for her actions, she just arrived on the island. There isn't really much more we can tell you. We had a few issues treating him because he's made of data, but whatever virus has invaded his systems isn't one any of us can identify. Unfortunately, all we can do is ease the pain and hope it clears the system naturally. I don't think its good to let all of you back there at once, may I ask you pick one among yourselves to go see him? He's not conscious, though, but I'm of the opinion those unconscious know when people visit them."
The nurse seemed flustered and ran off. The doctor watched her go before turning back to the Vocaloids and waiting for a response.

Miku looked at Luka, and thought about everything that had happened these few days. Yes, Luka would be best. The two of them were closer than they were to any other Vocaloids, despite the abuse Luka put poor Gakupo through.
With that, she shoved Luka forward.
Luka caught the hint. "I... I'll go in."

"Shallow? Shallow?! Look at yourself! You're coming in here, and invading my privacy and just... AAAAAGH!" He got up and stormed out of the van, heading towards Bonsai Village.

Len just sighed in frustration before sitting on the van thinking to himself silently. He though about what just happened and what he did, he felt a little horrible and guilty as he sulked a bit. He didn't know what to do anymore besides go after Kaito as he got up and ran after Kaito who probably gotten far.
