The blast of energy that Hades had predicted shot outwards. Both his and Kid's wings allowed them a greater speed, but the land based travel of Kanto wasn't going to be enough. Hades' fell backwards, realizing that Thane was going to do something stupid if he didn't comply.
He fell just behind Kanto. He glanced back and prepared to pull away, it wasn't worth it, when the wings and demonic appearance were overtaken by the kid appearance from before. He crashed down on top of Kanto as the wings had gone as well, and the impact managed to push both of them forward. The blast nicked the boy, and he shouted in pain before appearing to fall unconscious.
However, it had prevented Kanto from receiving any more damage than the few scrapes from being tackled to the ground.

"Oh yes, very nice." Zenaku crackled venom virtually dripping from his lips. "let's see." He tried a shadow claw and instead of his hand remaining normal and covered with dark energy, it became massive and covered in chaos. "Oh yeah, the potential, it's endless!"

"Uggg.... that hurt... hey Kid!? KID!?!?! YOU OKAY!?!?" Kanto yelled as he picked up the uncounscious child. Then he soon realized that the child had saved him when he saw the burned trail. He placed the child next to a tree and went on toward where Zenaku was.

Other than Castor's wings getting singed, Kid had managed to get away. However, the blast had knocked him out of the sky because it had disrupted Castor's flight. Worst yet, the wings seemed to need repairing.
Landing on the ground at reduced speed, Kid groaned and pulled himself up.
"Woah." Kid said, stunned. "What power..."

The boy twitched and slowly opened his eyes. He turned to the side and saw Kanto closing the distance between himself and Zenaku.
"Idiot! I nearly get myself killed just so-"
The words cut short and the body language changed seconds before the demonic form appeared. Hades allowed his wings to form and flew over to Kanto. He was in pain but now was not the time to be sitting on the job. He grabbed Kanto's wrist and held firm, knowing the boy would try and jerk free.
"If you want to survive long enough to know what happened to the kid, you'll come with me and NOW!" shouted Hades.
If Thane was willing to be that stupid to save the kids life... he didn't have time to argue. If he had to he was going to try and pick Kanto off the ground. He had the basic strength despite the apparent age and size difference, but if Kanto fought it could be problematic.
Hades was aware of Kid's position, but he seemed capable enough of taking care of himself. Kanto was the one about to throw his life away, not Kid.

"hmmm? Ahh three targets to practice my new power on." A ginat orb of darkness appeared in his hand. "This promises some results."

"Oh no you don't!" yelled Kanto as he pointed his sword at Zenaku which shot a beam of thunder from it.

"Like hell!" Kid yelled, flying into the air again since Castor had repaired himself. "I'm not going to die before I can start a new empire you little villain reject!"
He turned to Hades. "Hey! You better have a plan, or else!"

Hades tried to pull Kanto into the air, but the pre-teen was fighting too much. At the rate they were going Zenaku was going to kill them all. And since no one in this reality know about Chaos, the odds were his uppers couldn't get to him... and Chaos would start destroying realities.
"I hope you'll forgive me..." Hades brought his hand down hard on Kanto's skull, knocking the boy out. He flapped into the air carrying the unconscious body and turned to Kid.
"If your father really is Ceaser, than you'll understand the value of strategical retreat. Get out of here!" Hades flapped his wings and flew off. He only hoped that Zenaku would decide on an easier target and let them get away. He needed to get somewhere safer to regroup and he had promised the unconscious kid in his arms an explanation.

Zenaku Laughed as he flung The Dark void attack after them, making it slow yet just quick enough to catch up to them, slowly, and menacingly.

"Strategic escape--" Kid suddenly saw the Dark Void attack coming their way. His eyes shot from the attack to the nearby portals. They all linked to each other.
"THE PORTAL! HURRY!" Kid yelled at Hades, pointing at the portal. "GET IN THE PORTAL!"

Hades had been avoiding the portals earlier. He had no idea where they lead. But now was not the time to be finicky. The only thing that acknowledged Ceaser's suggestion was a shift in direction as he tried to increase his speed and shot into the portal.
(OOC: I have no idea where we're going to end up! So yeah, you're in charge for that. X3)

"Guh..... Owwwww that hurt." he said rubbing his head. He soon realized he was being carried and that dark orb was following. "HOLY SHIT!" he screamed, but didn't flail since he'd probably be dropped if he did so instead he pointed the sword at the orb and charged up some power.
