The portal let Hades out in an entirely different section of the park, but if the Dark Void went through the portal too, they wouldn't be able to escape it.
"Go through more portals! Keep running through them! Hurry!" Kid yelled, and then flew behind Zenaku. "Hey, guess what?"

"Just calm down!" Hades shouted at Kanto. He looked towards Kid as he spoke in time to see the flying boy fall back.

Those thoughts went through Hades mind as he went into another portal. He highly doubted he would see the kid alive again, but in the grand scheme of things one life wasn't worth it. Hades was glad Thane had enough sense to stay down. If he expressed himself Hades and Kanto would fall to the ground. Thane was incapable of expressing the demonic appearance (and therefore wings) Hades had.
He felt himself wishing Hermia was there. It was then he realized how much of a pickle they were really in. Besides, the holier than thou angel would have probably gotten herself killed.
"I'm just rationalizing..." Hades muttered as he disappeared into another portal.

Kanto just continued to collect energy into the sword. "If that guy appears im going to blow him to bits...." Kanto muttered.

"Huh? kid you have a death wish." Zenaku crackled as he slashed at Kid C with his new, improved, and much more destructive shadow claw.

Kid jumped back from Zenaku and smirked. "I'm going to become the Emperor of the New Roman Empire. I'm not dying anytime soon. Unlike you."
He launched a flight-powered kick at Zenaku. "It's called basic strategy. Think for a second."

The attack clipped the edge of the portal, but enough of it was disturbed that Hades was able to dodge the attack and set Kanto on the ground. He landed beside him a fair distance to hopefully prevent an attack being fired at him.
"You wanted an explanation, right? Thane, you're up."
Hades stepped back and the human appearance appeared. The body language shifted ever so slightly. It was still a poised ready to jump from an attack at any second stance and the eyes were still harsh, but there was something different. A... kindness that wasn't there before. Although that seemed far to strong a word. And the eyes were still harsh, just in a wise beyond his ten years human sort of way.
Thane waited for Kanto's response.

"What the!?!" Kanto was shocked that Hades was that boy. "So your the one that saved me?" he said a little confused.

"Me? Killed?" Zenaku laughed, as he cought the kick and slammed Kid into the ground.

"Everything dies, stupid." Kid said, using the wings on his boots to propel his foot back up again and out of Zenaku's grip. "Even gods."
He swung his foot back around again, catching Zenaku in the chest. "And I've still got the upper hand here, you little reject!"

Thane shook his head, "Not exactly."
The voice was younger than the one that Kanto had heard before. It was weighted as if the pain of hundreds of lifetimes weighed on the boy and certainly not immature, but it was young, the voice of a boy whose voice hadn't changed.
"It's hard to explain... I can try if you want me to..." Thane trailed off and looked towards the portal just as it bleeped out. He had to agree with Hades, that other kid had thrown his life away. But it would be stupid to go and try to help him at this point.

Zenagu grabbed Kids other foot. "You're no longer any fun as he used a dark pulse(Pokemon attack) To send Kid into a portal.

Kid managed to keep from being blown into a portal by using his flying shoes, then stopped in midair.
"You are so stupid! You call yourself immortal, but you didn't even realize what I was doing!" He wiped away some blood from his nose. "I was acting as a decoy. They're probably far away from you now, you stupid reject."

Thane shook his head, "He knew what he was doing. Besides, what good would us getting killed do anything. Hades'.... Our duty is to get that force put back in the Vault where it belongs. And without the contact to the councils of light and dark, we're pretty much the last line of defense."
Thane paused.
"I do hope Hades is wrong about his fate... I just doubt it."
