"Wise decision. If Amon were here, he wouldn't have given you a choice." The demon's voice remained casual as its gun changed into a check for a rather healthy sum of money. With nigh-impossible ability, it tossed the check onto a nearby coffee table.
"He'd probably just have you posessed and drag your souls off to Hell for his twisted little experiments. I swear, it's hard to believe we're brothers sometimes. It's like he doesn't even care about the dance."

"Wait, what da..." Felix began. Masahiro and Nazz both stepped on one of Felix's feet.
"We just narrowly avoided death, you fool. This is hush-up money... so hush up," Masahiro snarled.
"Think about Double D and your child. Just let it go," Nazz said.

"Well, I suppose I'll be off." The demon said calmly as it sat back down in its throne. "'Look for me when the sun-bright swallow/ Sings upon the birch bough high'. One of Asmodeus' girls will send you your next assignment."
In a curious flash of golden light that was, at the same time, a flickering flame, the demon and his chair vanished.
"I hate Mammon." Philip muttered. "The guy acts so high and mighty..."

"Just barely," Double D turned to the other two. "Next assignment? Did he mean for all of us, or just you two?"

"What am I doing here?" Crash casually asked, wearing his eternal clueless grin.

"No, that'll do." Scratch answered calmly. "But, um... be careful. I don't think you're going to be too popular from now on."
With that cryptic message, the angel and the demon both exited the room-- not through a door like a normal person, but by walking through the wall facing the outside and vanishing.

Masahiro was rendered speechless as usual, stunned by how simply divine Perceval looked every day.
"... Man down, man down, we've got a lost soldier in the eyes of the unknown," Felix said into his hand in a childish manner with a grin on his face.

A chuckle went throughout the room at Felix's joke. Perceval giggled especially cutely as he took Masahiro's hand, beaming up at him.

Masahiro flushed red even more at the contact as he tried to stutter out some words.
"Amazing... He acts so tough to try and make up for his brother's loss, but just a simple touch from Perceval... and he gets all giddy and shy," Trevor said to himself.
