Kisa nodded. She seemed a bit lost in thought for a moment. There was still quite a few traces of depression, but she seemed to be developing a level of determination as well. She took a few moments to get the card back into her vest before looking back up at the group.
"I suspected that already, actually. Someone informed me of the possibility of something similar to that... Aristato-san? Was this person you say I look like... who was she?"
Teddie looked around and found a bench. He sat down and watched. He couldn't think of anything more to say. Kisa glanced at him a moment before refocusing on the group. Naoto might have noticed that Kisa kept glancing at him. It was of a different sort than any of the looks she gave the others, as if she was going out of her way not to stare. Teddie began to quietly hum the Junes theme as he drummed his fingers on his knees.

Naoto raised an eyebrow as Kisa said that someone had already informed her of the possibility of that. Who had informed her of that? She stayed silent as Kisa continued to speak.
Minato took a moment to respond to Kisa. "She was this girl who had the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon in her, and apparently she was really close to the person Kaiba was reincarnated from in the manga."
He tugged on the scarf a bit as he spoke. He had to hope that she wouldn't balk too much. Then again, she didn't seem too much like the kind of person who would freak from these kind of things, but it was definitely looking like a possibility she was a reincarnation of Kisara.

"I... see," Kisa said.
She didn't say anything for several moments. Naoto might have read the body language signals that she wanted to sit down. She gave no less than three quick glances towards where Teddie was sitting. On the third one, she bit her lip, shook her head, and walked over to the bench. She sat down on the far end from Teddie. He gave her a puzzled look and shifted to grinning. She looked back towards the group for a minute.
"What kind of person was he? I mean, his past life? And... was his name... erm, SeT?"
The Island had powers of translation. But it meant that if someone wanted to speak in a language other than the native of those they were speaking to, they often had to put effort into it. Kisa's first and only natural language was Japanese, but the problem that created was the pronunciation of certain names. So she focused on omiting the "o" that came at the end of that name in what some called "Engrish". It came out as a very harsh and forced stop, but it would be clear she meant Set, not Seto... although Engrish also meant the manga/anime wrote/pronunced it as Seto. At least Naoto might understand.

Naoto caught the quick glances over toward where Teddie was sitting, and didn't stop Kisa from walking over there.
Minato sighed. "Sorry, I can't really remember what he was like... it's been a while, but yeah, his name was Set."
Minato gave a bit of effort to making the name come out as Set, but it still sounded a bit like Seto. Still, Naoto was able to tell what they both meant. A name similar to Seto but not quite.

Kisa didn't say anything. She felt really uncomfortable. She had felt that his name was Set in her head, although it had conflicted with things and had left her confused. Now this person standing before her was telling her he knew more about Seto then she did. Possibly more about his past life as well. What about her past life? She had no recollection of it, although she was sure the pain in her chest over the way Kaiba had acted was related to that.
She glanced at Teddie again. By now, even the blond was getting confused. Was there something on his face? He reached up and wiped a hand over his face, giving Kisa a questioning look after he did so. She gave a slight smile, somewhat pained and somewhat amused. There was something off about the teenager, but she was being rude about it. She stood up and looked away.
"I should probably be going," she turned to the group and her smile was more genuine while still carrying traces of pain and worry, "My father will be upset if I delay getting home too long."
She seemed to be waiting for them to tell her it was okay to go.

Minato blinked as she stood up again, and then looked away. "Oh... alright. I guess I'll see you later." He let her leave before turning back toward Naoto and Kanji.
"I've completely forgotten what we came here to do," Minato admitted. Naoto gave him a slightly cold stare. "...Right, job searching. Sorry."
He was only tagging along anyways.
--------------
At a cafe not too far from the place Naoto, Kanji, Teddie, Minato, and a leaving Kisa were, Enjin was sitting down, eating cheesecake. He'd placed the Ring on the table, and he had his cake on a small plate. Enjin had gotten the cake for free; he'd interfered with the people in the cafe using an ability that was the exact opposite of Satelite: blocking thoughts instead of reading them. It would be near impossible for a normal person to see him or the Ring.
As for the cheesecake, he'd decided to cut it a particular way. Cut into three parts, with the top part split down the middle. It wasn't the way he ate his cake. It was the way Gin ate his cake. In any case, he skewered a piece on the end of his knife and ate it.
This is really quite good, Enjin said. He'd stay here and replenish his energies for now.

Teddie watched the girl go. He stood up and walked back over to the group as she left the corner. He looked at Naoto.
"She seems sad..." And then he blew it, "Hey, do I have something on my face? She kept looking at me funny."
----------
Kisa was in her own head as she walked. Her hand was on the breast pocket of her jacket. She was debating pulling out the card. So this Kisara had held something like on this card in her soul in the past? She didn't think she was an avatar. She had finally decided to pull the card out when she stopped cold. There was something nearby that set her hairs more on edge then anything she could clearly remember. She'd been near some damn haunted places, but something was even more off about this sensation than usual.
She swallowed hard. She wanted to move her feet forward, but they wouldn't listen. After a few moments of just standing there, looking more than a bit comparable to a deer trapped in headlights, she turned her head towards where she sensed the energy... and felt something nagging at her mind. She closed her eyes and held a hand to her head. There was nothing where she sensed the energy, or... at least not to her eyes. If she didn't know any better, and she wasn't honestly sure she did, it was almost as if something was messing with her thoughts.
Her eyes were clenched shut, and she had a strong look of discomfort on her face. Now that she'd found out this much, she didn't want to leave. She kept her eyes closed and looked in the direction she felt the energy. It seemed her standard sight was messing with her pereception. She still couldn't see anything, but the presence was clearer. There was something dark for lack of a better word, resting on the table there. And she had a feeling that whatever was making things hard to pick up was on the table.
Enjin probably hadn't missed the white haired girl. She looked in a high amount of discomfort. She would be staring right at him and the Ring if here eyes weren't closed. But there was definite indication she could tell something was there, and just as much indication she didn't like it.

"She was kinda lookin' at you weird the whole time she was here," Kanji said.
"I'm not sure, Teddie. Maybe she could tell that you're not quite human," Naoto said.
----------------
Enjin looked up as he saw the white haired girl, and his usual smirk didn't drop. So, someone could sense him, eh? He placed the plate full of cake back down on the table and picked up the cake knife and the Ring before walking over to Kisa.
It was unlikely that Kisa saw him coming. After all, he had interfered with everyone in the area. But as he got close to her, he lifted the interference, just on that one girl.
"Well, it looks like there's a little bird who can sense me," Enjin said. "How interesting. You're quite special, aren't you?"
He lifted the knife and pointed it at Kisa's right shoulder as he did so, touching the front of it with the end of his knife.

(OOC: Slight bit of godmoding in Kisa's area, lemme know if I should change it. Since its easy to forget, btw, Kisa is 15. XD)
Teddie looked quite surprised. Someone who could tell that just by looking at him? That didn't even seem possible. No one had ever been able to, and it had taken a medical examination to raise any kind of flag... and even the doctors had blamed it on the equipment.
"Is that really possible?" He sounded as surprised as he looked.
----------
You need to run, you need to run, you need to run...
Usually she was so good about listening to that little voice when it spoke up. The one that made her not quite normal, the one that made her a "sensitive" or someone with "spirit sense". Whatever you wanted to call it, she was usually so good about listening to it. Maybe it was the recent mess with Seto, but her feet just wouldn't respond. She sensed whatever she was being interfered with seeing approaching, and she just stood there. It really was like a deer caught in headlights.
Despite sensing the Ring and the one causing the interference, she almost jumped out of her skin as Enjin popped up out of thin air. Her eyes turned straight to the Ring he was holding. She didn't know what that was, not directly. There was a form of recognition that skirted the way she had recognized Seto, but something seemed wrong with it. She barely heard Enjin's words, but it was enough to break the psychological paralysis. She lifted a foot back to run just as he put the knife to her shoulder. It caused her to freeze up again.
Cat ears? Wolf ears? Something like that. Not human? She wasn't sure. Now that she could see him, what she could sense all came from the Ring. The clouding of her mind had dropped as soon as he appeared. Which had to mean he had been the one doing it, as nothing had changed about the Ring. It wasn't as much the Ring felt evil as it felt tainted. And she just didn't like the object, it didn't feel quite human.
Kisa gave a quick glance around the area. There was a bit of added pressure from the knife. Enough that Kisa replaced her focus on the man before her. No one seemed to be noticing him. A few people had glanced up with a confused look towards her, but no one seemed to notice him. Which meant whatever had hidden him from her before covered an area...
"Wh-who are you?"

Minato shrugged. "Dunno."
"It's a possibility," Naoto said. "Especially if she's related to anyone from Atem-san's homeworld, which seems very likely. I don't know the specifics of their own abilities, but they seem different from any of our own."
----------------
Enjin had gotten a bit annoyed at how Kisa was just sitting around like a scared little chick. So he'd pressed down a little further with the knife. Well, it wasn't particularly sharp knife. But it was a knife none the less. He liked knives.
He pulled it off when she asked who he was, stuttering it out as she went.
"That really doesn't matter at the moment," Enjin said. "What I'm wondering about is who you are, little girl." He pointed at her with the knife again, placing the Ring in his pocket as he did so. At the same time, he opened up communication with Anpu again.
Hey, you wouldn't happen to know this girl right here, would you? Enjin asked Anpu. Her eyes went straight to that Ring when she saw me.

Teddie looked like he was trying to process that. He'd never met anyone who could tell he was off just by looking at him. He'd gotten funny looks before, but he'd been told that was cause of how he acted. That didn't seem to be the case here, giving how the group was acting. He broke the thing with a huge grin and ran ahead of the group.
"So, weren't we going to ask about jobs?"
----------
Kisa swallowed hard. Who was she? Well, she could give her name. She was still rather nervous. Her eyes watched as Enjin placed the odd gold object in his pocket, the looped rope making the necklace tied at the top.
"My name is Shiroi Kisa..." she managed not to stutter, although she was still rather worried.
Anpu surfaced at Enjin's prodding. He scowled at Enjin's words and spoke with a slight growl, "It's not like I can exactly observe the situation like this."
Actually, he couldn't observe at all. Before he'd only been able to make out Enjin because of the position of the Ring. With it in Enjin's pocket, he could merely feel the channel connection. A presence as opposed to real sight. Enjin would still be able to see Anpu, and due to Anpu's reaction towards the presence it would be hard to tell he couldn't see him. Anpu was looking at the presence, not Enjin himself.

"Oh, yeah, right. C'mon, Teddie, let's go get ya a job," Kanji said, and this time he started leading the way. Minato was still lagging behind a bit as they began to walk.
----------------
Enjin didn't allow a scowl to show as Anpu said that he couldn't see. The spirit's perception was linked to where the Ring was; now that was inconvienent. He nonchalantly removed the Ring from his pocket, having still had his hand in the pocket with Anpu said he couldn't see anyways.
"Then you can call me Nanami Gin. Now, I'm kinda curious. How were you able to sense me?" Enjin asked.

Teddie nodded with a bit in the way of force. He headed after Kanji, although he paused and looked towards Minato. He fell back to walk beside him, creating two distinct groups due to how the blue haired teenager was lagging behind.
----------
Enjin's effort didn't do much for Anpu. Even if he focused the most he could make out was Enjin's midsection and maybe half an inch in either direction around him. Enough to know there was someone in front of Enjin but not their appearance, and enough to guess the man was holding him at the side. Still not that useful. He scowled. The man really didn't know anything about the Items, did he?
"I can.. sense things," Kisa said. She was talking quietly because she could tell she was the only one that could see the person in front of her, "I don't know how, but I've always been able to. Some people call me a 'sensitive' because of it," she glanced at the knife and said perhaps oddly calmly, "Are you going to stab me...?"
"Unless you're trying to show me your ass, this isn't going to do any good," Anpu growled, "The only reason I can see anything at all is this stupid channel you've opened."

That presence in the Ring was really a pain, wasn't he? And weak; he could only sense things because of that channel. He certainly needed that host of his rather badly, didn't he.
Be quiet then; I need to figure out how to get you up to a point you can see her better without her noticing, Enjin said. He pressed the knife a little further into Kisa's shoulder.
"A sensitive, eh?" Enjin said. "Rather useful, yes. And I doubt that's your only ability, if I know you silly superpowered humans enough. An ability like yours could be useful in a place like this."
"I could always just take your body, after all. All I'd need is for your spirit to exit," He reached up the hand the Ring was grasped in and unclipped the top button of his coat, pulling it back so that the large scar on his shoulder was visible. "Like this."

Kisa shifted her weight. Due to her denim half-jacket, the knife was merely uncomfortable. Had she not had that on, it would have been painful at that point. She took a step back when the shift of weight didn't help much. If Enjin actually wanted to stab her, he'd have to do it rather quickly or support her back as he did so. They were both standing in the middle of the food court, after all.
She wasn't sure where he was heading with the comments about being useful. Although his wording convinced her he wasn't fully human. Well, there were the ears, but he seemed human enough. Now that he was closer, she could tell there was something odd about him, but she couldn't put her finger on what. It wasn't unhuman. Considering his ability earlier it was possible he was merely some kind of psychic. In a sense she was, just of the receptive sort.
When he moved on, her eyes widened. Take her body!? He moved on with little care towards her expression (no, he seemed to be enjoying the situation) by informing her that her spirit just needed to leave. She took another step back, contemplating how possible it would be to run from the man. She hesitated when she saw the scar. She had no idea if he was just intimidating her or there really was something to his threats... she'd be bolting if Enjin didn't catch the body language right to stop her.
Anpu, however, was finally able to catch a limited glimpse of her before she stepped out of his range. His eyes widened and a large smirk formed. That was the girl the son of the man he had manipulated in Ancient Egypt had held feelings for.
"She looks exactly like a supposed witch known as Kisara," Anpu stated.
The resemblance was more than uncanny, it was identical. It wasn't a case of him and Ryou or even the Pharaoh and his boyfriend. The skin tone and even the mannerisms he'd managed to catch were all the same. There was a chance she didn't even have as much seperation as a reincarnation. It was damn inconvenient to not have Ryou's body at the moment. He couldn't observe the situation as much as he liked.
