Enjin wasn't making any movement to stop Kisa if she bolted. To be honest, he just wanted to get back to his cake and get back to replenishing the energy he needed to do that wide range Satelite he was going to have to use. And he was probably going to be pretty drained of energy afterwards. This city was rather large, maybe not as large as the Tokyo area, but still very, very large.
He chuckled as Anpu spoke, though it was unlikely Kisa would know why. Does she now? How... interesting. Perhaps it would be worth it to observe her a bit longer. Enjin removed the knife from Kisa's shoulder.
"Well, run along now, little birdie. I have things to do, and you're starting to bore me," Enjin said. He waved his hand in a motion that indicated he was dismissing Kisa.

Kisa's feet finally cooperated when Enjin began to chuckle. She didn't know why, nothing about the air around them had changed. But it was dark and rather amused. She tripped over feet a few times and managed to go as by the time Enjin had dismissed her. She knew she was being stared at, and right now she didn't care. The only problem was... she didn't think it was the last she'd seen of that man. Him or the item he carried. And if his threats were as genuine as she suspected, it could mean something awful... If his threats were genuine, did that mean someone had lost their soul just to accomodate him?
Anpu didn't respond to Enjin's amusement. His expression was impossible to read, but only because he'd spent years hiding behind a smirk. If Enjin went after her and she was the woman from before, he'd be in for a nasty surprise. If she was alive and well, it probably meant her Ka was under her control again. And the White Dragon had been able to stand on equal footing with the Phantom Gods, after all. He turned towards Enjin.
"Do you intend on delivering me to Ryou anytime soon?" he gave an overly exaggerated shrug, "I'll get back to him myself if you keep delaying things."
He didn't know about any recharging Enjin had to do. Even if he had, he wouldn't have cared. Right now he was trying to get a reaction out of the man in current possession of the Ring. It would be risky to seperate from him. There was no guarantee he could reach his host again on his own. However, he had noted a level of supression had lifted once they'd left the Pharaoh's presence. No... more likely, it was after they had left his boyfriend's presence. The Items were all inter-related, and the Pendant was their "leader", so to speak.

Enjin placed the Ring back in his pocket at Anpu's complaint about the time it was taking and headed back to the table, where he skewered the two remaining pieces of cake on the knife he had been using before slowly eating them. He grabbed a bagel and a couple brownies on his way out.
I needed to replenish my energy. While I'm sure you wouldn't care, I'd prefer not to pass out when I do this, Enjin said back to Anpu as he walked out of the cafe. He snapped his fingers as he stepped out, and the interference on the people in the area lifted. No one really noticed when the interference lifted, and he continued on his merry way toward a side alley. Most people didn't pay attention to "cat-boys" here, but they would notice the effect Satellite gave off.
Once a fair ways into the long network of alleys that crossed Void City, Enjin stopped and finished the last bit of his bagel before beginning to concentrate.
"SATELLITE!"
What happened next could only be described as a literal explosion of some sort of electricity as Enjin sent up a huge pillar of light from his body, which then soared into the sky. He was quite simply reading the minds of everyone in the city. He twitched a couple times from the energy pull, but eventually, he dropped the mind reading. He'd found who he was looking for.
"A satori's body is certainly quite useful," Enjin said as he stumbled back down the alley. You're lucky. He's close by.

Anpu was only listening because the connection forced him to. He'd ignored the comment about passing out. It was Enjin that had offered to find Ryou for him in the first place. The man was right, he didn't care if he passed out. He had turned away as soon as the man addressed him. With no sense of time within the Ring, he couldn't have begun to guess how long or short it was before he felt an explosion of energy.
That got his attention, for sure. He couldn't turn to it without Enjin opening communication again, but he sure as hell felt it. The illusion of awareness faded even before Enjin spoke again. When the man created the connection again, Anpu still said nothing. However, he didn't close off the channel this time. He wanted to be as aware as the limited connection let him be when Ryou showed up.

"Malik-san..."
Malik frowned. Bakura had disliked sleeping in that abandoned building, but he hadn't complained. He'd said Malik's name a few times, but whenever he'd turned to the white haired teenager, Bakura had gotten nervous and told him to nevermind. The teenager was too damn soft, and it was beginning to get annoying. He stopped and turned towards him.
"What?" He almost growled.
Bakura looked nervous, "Ah..."
"If you don't stop backing off, I swear I will dump you here. Might do you some good," Malik said.
"It's not that! I just... have a bad feeling..."

It took Enjin no time at all to find Bakura and Malik. When he'd said they were close by, he'd meant it. He walked up behind him, and spoke loudly so at least one of them would notice him.
"I think one of you dropped something," Enjin said. He held the Ring up so Malik and Bakura could see it before tossing it toward Bakura. If Bakura didn't catch it, or Malik didn't deflect it, it would land at Bakura's feet.

Malik had frowned at Bakura as he'd said he had a bad feeling. Bad feeling? Malik wasn't all that superstitious, and he knew that many people jumped at shadows. He was about to turn and criticize Malik for it when he got the distinct impression he was being watched. He'd dealt with shadows enough that he knew the difference between jumping at them and actually being watched. He was already turning when Enjin spoke.
Bakura had heard the voice, but he didn't recognize it. He stopped as Malik was turning. He didn't turn at the same rate. Malik did reach for the Ring, and Bakura's reflex was taking over to grab the Ring before anything weird happened. However, Bakura's stance went from day to night and he stepped in front of Malik with extreme dexterity. He was closing his fingers around it before it even hit his palm. Malik's eyes narrowed and he leapt back with dexterity of his own. He barely managed to avoid his legs getting swept out from under him by someone who definently was not Bakura.
Who or what the hell is that!? Well, the Ring is back to Bakura. Shit, even if the Pharaoh says that isn't the original spirit, his stance is exactly the same! Malik took a ready position, but those that could read body language would realize he was ready to run if he saw the need.
About time, Anpu smirked as Malik landed, I suppose I should thank the man... Not that I will. I'd love to see him try to take advantage of me now. He doesn't strike me as an idiot, but if he thinks I've given him any level of trust perhaps I overestimated him... I wonder who this might be, though?

Enjin smirked at the situation that had ensued. It seemed Anpu had a degree of control over his "host's" body as long as the Ring was in the vicinity. That had been what he'd figured. Enjin doubted that little Bakura would willingly put that thing back on after the thoughts Enjin had managed to read from him previously.
He stepped back once Malik regained his balance, and then, Enjin quite simply disappeared. He'd fufilled his end of the bargain. Now he just needed to go raid another cafe. He was starving.

Anpu had a mild reaction of surprise as Enjin just vanished. It was enough to cause his guard to drop towards Malik for a moment as he whirled to face where the cat eared man had been. Malik attempted to take advantage of the situation and ran at Anpu, having pulled a dagger at some point during Anpu's distraction.
The Thief King caught the glint of silver and managed to sidestep, but not fast enough to avoid a slight cut under his left eye. Not enough to scar, but it was amusing how much his host's body was getting sliced up lately. Even more amusing was Malik had been aiming at his throat if he'd read the attack right. It seemed someone didn't care about the identity of his host.
He spun around and tried to grab Malik's wrist. The Egyptian teenager avoided the grasp, but it didn't stop Anpu from ducking down and hooking something between the pinkie and ring fingers of his right hand. His host had a slight dominance to his left hand, so it would be easier to catch the teenager off guard with that one. Malik saw the flash of the paler hand, but it looked to him like the person controlling Bakura's body was trying to grab it. He managed to step out.
Anpu jumped up as Malik tried to react with violence and made it seem like he was balancing with his left hand. His right stuck the dagger into the back of his jeans. The move was enough to cause most people to stab themselves, but most people didn't have the sleight of hand the Thief King had. Malik's eyes had gone to his left as anticipated, and he smirked when he landed. The two were several running paces away from each other now, and neither were even breathing heavily yet.
"Well well, someone's agile," Anpu smriked.
"Don't make the mistake of thinking I'll pull back just because you're using Bakura's body," Malik growled.
Anpu's smirk widened and he was about to rush Malik again, but a voice addressed them, "You have something I need."
Anpu whirled around. He hadn't heard anyone sneaking up on them. Malik was clearly surprised as well, and his stance and dagger position shifted to the person that had seemed to materialize about a foot from Anpu. There was no other way to describe it. Both he and Anpu had been surprised, and he hadn't seen the man before. The man didn't look all that special, his nationality was anyone's guess. Probably American by the apparent mixture, and he seemed a bit underweight.
"Hand over that artifact and no one gets hurt," the man threatened.
