(OOC: Touch of godmoding done with permission!)
Hades felt the jar as Tsuna grabbed his weapon, with a grip outweighing what a human could do. He had to be undead, and quite well controlled. The blood wouldn't be that satsifying at this point, the infant would have to die as well. Still, the rage coming from the human was unusual. The dead didn't give rage, not in this form. They had to be ghosts or something, and the human grabbing his scythe was not a ghost.
When Tsuna yanked to pull both the scythe and Hades forward, it was reflexes and his long distant past that gave him the idea to allow it to happen. He fixed his hands harder around his scythe so that he wouldn't lose grip of it as he was yanked forward. He allowed the momentum to build up by Tsuna's strength and as the teenager's kick almost connected... and the scythe vanished in a swirl of black sulphuric mist.
The mist and smell vanished quickly, but in the mean time Hades had used the momentum to take a leap about twice what he'd normally manage. His wings exploded out, cutting the air in a way that would reveal his location to Tsuna with his heightened senses. Not that he would have lost track of him easily anyhow. The wings spread to full extension, but weren't meant for flight, merely guidance. As Tsuna turned to react, he'd get a foot to his face, sending him backwards about ten feet into the opposite wall.
Hades tucked his wings in and dove like a bird of prey might. He didn't intend on giving Tsuna a chance to recover. The scythe rematerialized as he flew. Unbeknowest to anyone but Hades, Thane was ready to let it end. The infant had killed Tsuna, and when Hades was done with the teenager's body, he'd go after Reborn. Both were operating on the assumption that Tsuna was dead, and that's what Hades was thinking as he prepared to decapitate the boy...

Tsuna had been taken off guard. Even though his dying will mode was both faster and stronger, it lacked something. His hyper intuition, while present, was much more... diluted, than in, say, Hyper Dying Will mode. As such, he had been unable to see his mistake until Hades had kicked him backwards into the opposite wall. Looking up, he barely had time to notice Hades coming at him. He was preparing himself in a position to counter, when...
...his time ran out. The flame on his forehead dissipated quite quickly, Tsuna's eyes going from the crazed rage they were to a more... calm alternative. This calm lasted for exactly one nanosecond, because now Tsuna realized that Hades was going to kill him, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He put his arms over his head, panicking.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It wasn't my fault! Reborn, help!" Tsuna called out, frantically waving his arms and trying to back further into the wall. Across the alleyway, Reborn sighed. At this rate, Tsuna would never be boss material. But it was about more than that, really. It was about Tsuna becoming a man... and living long enough to do so.
The arcobaleno took a flying leap...

It wasn't the vanishing flame that caught Hades off guard. He'd simply filed it as the infant releasing his control of a corpse. He'd behead it anyways. It was a rare corpse that walked when lacking a head, control or not. It was when Tsuna, alive and well, began shouting for his life. Hades seemed to almost stutter in mid-air... and then every trace of his demon appearance dropped.
The scythe didn't vanish in a burst of sulphur like usual, it merely vanished. There was a startled expression and something like half a sound coming from the demon when the rest of his demonic appearance vanished. The angle and momentum meant that he continued at the basic trajectory, and Thane pretty much took a five foot angled fall right into Tsuna's chest. Sideways momentum sent them both tumbling, giving Tsuna's general inability to fight back at this point, and they were stopped by a box of toilet paper.
Thane managed to push himself up with impressive speed giving his landing, wincing at the pain (he was visibly bruised) and turning his head. His chest was over Tsuna's legs, in a way he looked like an oversize dog. His eyes were wide and he actually looked his apparent age.
"Y-You're alive! H-how?! Are you okay?!"

This had not been a good day for Tsuna. First he'd had to go looking for Reborn, then he'd ended up here, then he witnessed a murderer, then the murderer almost murdered him, and now this. Granted, Thane crashing into him, while painful, paled in comparison to how badly his eyes were still stinging. Just, good lord, that was a lingering pain. In any case, his response to Thane's question might have seemed a bit... odd, all things considered.
"Oh, it's fine. I've gone through much worse fights than that. I was recently involved in a fight for some rings that got pretty hectic. I'm surprisingly durable." Tsuna chuckled a bit. To be quite honest, he was attempting to calm both himself and Thane down. Whoever, or whatever he'd just fought was pretty terrifying. It had been about to kill him, and he'd been lucky that it had... turned back... into... Thane...
... ... ... ...wait, what?
Looking to his side, Tsuna noticed Reborn land. He had what almost appeared to be a... glare, upon his face, with his arms crossed.
"Tsuna." Reborn said, simply. Before Tsuna had a chance to inquire the arcobaleno on his problem, his foot was shoved in Tsuna's face. The boy fell to the side, rubbing his spot.
"OW! Rebooorn! I was nearly killed and you're hitting me?!" Tsuna asked, incredulously.
"If you'd been working harder, you wouldn't have had such a close call. You wasted too much energy early on."

Thane just looked worried at Tsuna's explanation. That wasn't what he meant at all! The teenager had been shot and here he was walking, not even a bullet wound to show for it!
"That's not what I meant, yo-"
Thane froze up for a moment. The infant was still there. He scrambled to his feet and whirled around in time to see Reborn kick Tsuna in the face. Thane hopped back (there was agility his age shouldn't have again...) and by the time he landed his stance and apparent maturity had changed, and "Thane" had his scythe summoned and pointed at Reborn. He snarled and spoke in a growl.
"Just what the hell are you two?!" His stance changed and he stumbled backwards as the scythe vanished. His voice was different, Thane again, and...
"Hades, stop it! You've gotta let them explain!"

Reborn paused, looking to Thane as he jumped back and... summoned his scythe. He wasn't exactly himself for a moment before he snapped back. The baby took note of this, his expression momentarily grim. Tsuna looked to his mentor for explanation, as it seemed everyone currently had a secret to share, and he was the only one with his head on straight.
"It's like Chrome and Mukuro, isn't it, Reborn?" Tsuna asked. He'd begun trying to put two and two together, and this was as close as he'd gotten. He received no immediate response from Reborn, whom instead chose to respond to Thane.
"The Tsuna you just fought was still alive, but different. The bullet I shot him with was a secret of the Vongola, the Dying Will bullet. If the person shot with it has any regrets, they enter 'Dying Will' mode. The body's limitation switches are turned off." Reborn responded, tilting his fedora. Tsuna was quite surprised, to be honest. He hadn't expected such an exact response.

Thane (nor Hades) had any idea what "Vongola" was, but Thane seemed to be listening to the explanation. There was also no knowledge of who Chrome and Mukuro were. Thane seemed confused, unsure how to reply, and his stance changed. He turned away, the fluidity of movement and stance indicating that Hades was once again in control.
"That's all fine and well, but this still isn't your fight. 'Dying Will' or not, the boy would not last in this war, and it isn't his to participate in to begin with," Hades said. He seemed inclined to leave.

Reborn paused for a moment, scowling at something obscured from Tsuna's vision. He wondered, for a brief moment, what had caught his young tutor's attention. His unasked query was soon answered, however, as Reborn spoke up.
"I'm afraid it's not that easy. I don't know what 'war' you're talking about, but from the looks of it," Reborn paused at this, his eyes shifting to something else Tsuna was unable to easily see from his position, "the fellow you killed earlier is Yakuza."
Tsuna did a bit of a double take here. That name sounded so familiar, and yet... not. At the same time, whoever they were, why was Reborn interested in them? It wasn't like they were Mafia or anything.
"Tsuna, as tenth boss of the Vongola family, the Yakuza aren't exactly your friends."

Hades raised Thane's eyebrow at Reborn's comment. Yakuza? It flowed well enough with the Japanese Reborn was speaking for him to assume it was related to that, but it wasn't a term he directly knew. Thane's mind showed no real understanding of the term either. What Hades did note was that Reborn called Tsuna a boss, and he couldn't hold back a scoff. That teenager, the boss of anything? Then again, as far as mere humans went, he supposed he could grow into something of that sort. He didn't seem amused.
"I don't know what 'Yakuza' or 'Vongola' is, but I presume I'd be correct in assuming they're human?" Hades asked, obviously leading into something with the inquiry.

For the first time since he'd known him, Tsuna noticed that Reborn seemed to, momentarily, be at a loss for words. Truth was, the question Hades had posed wasn't exactly simple to answer. The yakuza were arguably human. But from what Reborn knew of them, they really pushed the bounds of what it MEANT to be human. He'd encountered them once or twice throughout his career. It wasn't something he wanted to do again. He wasn't afraid, mind you. He was more... intelligently cautious.
"Yes." Reborn responded finally, crossing his arms. He wasn't entirely sure what Hades was getting at here. He had an idea, but he couldn't be certain.
"Reborn, haven't we encountered the yakuza before? They were kinda scary, but they didn't seem to be that much of a problem, given everything we've seen..." Tsuna stated, crouching to the arcobaleno's height level.
"Those were cheap knock-offs. They're nothing compared to the actual yakuza. If they had been, you'd be dead." Reborn responded, casually. Tsuna's eyes widened as he realized the implications.

Hades all but lifted his nose into the air. So they were human, just like the unusual infant and Tsuna. Perhaps they could use some form of magic, as this 'Vongola' grouped seem capable, but at the end of the day they were nothing but humans.
"Then they aren't worth my time. No matter how dangerous they are to you and your pet, they are still human. This battle is not for humans," Hades glanced at the head on the ground, "If they attempt to make problems, I'll kill them as well. Any warnings that actually matter to a demon?"

Tsuna's eyes widened. Demon, Hades had said. He was a demon. A demon living in the body of a child. Tsuna... was pretty angry, to be honest. But his fear came first and foremost. He was still No Good Tsuna, after all. He'd just fought a demon. The realization nearly gave him a heart attack.
Tsuna was about to speak up, ask Reborn what Hades could have meant by demon, but he stopped when the arcobaleno put up a hand. Reborn wore a rather serious expression, one rarely seen upon him. Whatever he was about to say, Tsuna got the feeling that it was important. So he stopped, and listened.
"From what I saw of your fight with Tsuna, you were pretty evenly matched. The Yakuza's men... they're stronger. Worse yet, they're smarter. Demon or no, the Yakuza are not the faction you want to enter a war with alone." Reborn asked. Tsuna... almost did a double take. While Reborn was still rather serious, he was...
He was basically doing another recruiting drive.

Hades had actually turned away and was walking, knowing he wouldn't get any answer worth his time from the infant. Thane was objecting, but Hades was keeping him pressed down. He'd explain to the boy later that it was for their own good this group was not getting involved. All of that stopped when Reborn accused him of being evenly matched. He hesitated, and his expression turned to a frown.
When Reborn was done, Hades turned, his expression now a glare, "Smarter, you say? Then surely they wouldn't be so idiotic as to mess with this? Tell me, 'Reborn', do you know of Chaos?"

Reborn paused before responding. Truth be told, he wasn't an expert on the subject of Chaos. But he knew of the entity. Enough to know that it was a horrible, horrible thing. Chaos had no face, Chaos had no physical form. Chaos' only purpose was destruction, bloodshed. If stories of goblins and ghouls were what you told your children when you disliked them, stories of Chaos were what you told them when you secretly wanted them dead.
"I do, yes." Reborn responded. A simple answer, he didn't speak in code, he didn't phrase it in a facetious manner, he just... said it. His voice lacked any form of inflection. A flat answer was something Reborn almost never gave.
Tsuna thought better of questioning him about it. At this point, the conversation was going far over his head, and really... he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to understand. He just wanted to go home and live his normal life being taught to become a mafia boss.
Wait, what?

Hades raised an eyebrow at the infant's response. It wasn't the most common knowledge of man, generally only known by those who pursued it or attempted to prevent those from doing so. It caused a serious and distrustful expression to cross across Hades' face. He fully turned around and then held a hand to Thane's chest, fingers fully spread.
"I'm responsible for keeping it in check. If these... Yakuza are as smart as you claim, they won't mess with it. I'm the only one capable of sealing it. To get involved with me would be to get involved with it."
Hades was returning Reborn's own tone. No inflection, just a flat answer. It was all quite mature, really.
