Yuugi's eyes widened as Adachi mentioned the poison. The group at the time had known about that, and Atem had been extremely worried about it. It had turned out it was for Souji, but it hadn't put Atem's mind at ease. Come to think of it, the stuff had kind of been forgotten about. Had someone taken it from Anpu? Yuugi looked pained as Adachi spoke, pulling back a bit on the pressure when Adachi winced and returning it when he stopped. He whispered under his breath, not even sure Adachi would hear. If the man did, it was as sincere as words could be.
"Thank you..."
Teddie's jaw practically hit the floor, "Then... I think... I think it was him that attacked me in the TV World! Lucius was there when I helped Takahashi-san! And his Persona was Lucifel, and that name is really close to Lucifer! And the room I was in had a bunch of stuff written in blood and upside down stars and stuff!"
"Whoa, hold up. Did you just say poison!?"
"Yuugi, what have you been going through here...?" Anzu said.
Yuugi looked up at her, his pained expression remaining. A lot. A lot that would have to be explained. He forced himself to break eye contact with her and looked towards the stairs. Was Atem going to be okay...? He'd gotten more stoic than usual.

Adachi only barely heard what Yuugi said, and he looked down once he realized what the teenager had said. He was thanking him. It was probably the most sincere thing Adachi had heard someone say since... since Ryou left.
"Sounds like it... I knew that guy was suspicious from the start," Souji said. "That would explain why he was in there... and why Adachi didn't know about him when we asked him about Takahashi. I don't know how that explains him being a Persona user, but..."
Well, actually--
Would you shut up!? Souji yelled back. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Izanagi that night. Really, he was tired. He was still exhausted from the trip into the TV World earlier, and he didn't make it a habit to sleep through the Dark Hour. Izanagi retreated a bit at Souji's outburst and then quite simply suppressed himself.
"From the sound of things, this Lucifer has been screwing with all of us for a while," Minato observed.

Teddie nodded in response to Souji's comment. He looked down at Adachi. Yuugi was watching Jounouchi look around. He'd gotten restless again. Still, he didn't want to get up until the ambulence got there. Anzu realized her question wasn't going to be answered quickly and hung her head. A thought crossed Yuugi's mind. He glanced towards the stairs and considered. No, it needed to be said. He looked towards the main part of the group.
"I don't know much about that mythology aside from what Atem's told me, but maybe K1-kun might know something? I mean, with the whole Abel thing...?"
----------
Atem had gotten the COMP as soon as he got back into the bedroom. He knew the others would probably be in the hall until help came for Adachi. Honestly, he didn't quite see the need for the ambulence. There were enough among their group that could heal (his Partner among them), and someone could have dug the bullet out. It would have hurt, but as he had said there wasn't much they could do to Adachi at this point. If he cared as much about Bakura as he indicated with his actions, the almost literal hell he was going through would outrank just about anything.
Atem confirmed the message, scanning it over once as before. After fixing a spelling error in a few places, he sent the message and closed the COMP. He sighed and considered going back down the stairs when he heard sirens outside the window. At least that much could be handled...
----------
"Seriously?"
"I just found her in this condition."
An ambulance pulled away from where Kaiba had been supporting Kisa less than three minutes prior. The vehicle had to take a wide turn to avoid the divet in the ground. As they'd been loading the girl into the ambulence, Kaiba had been questioned rather harshly by a hospital staff member, although they didn't even seem to be an EMP. They had informed him that Kisa just seemed to be suffering from exhaustion, and then gotten into a huge series of questions. He'd answered them all rather curtly, and almost every word of it had been a lie.
The only truth in it, really, was that he had been heading home. He hadn't 'just found her' but he was not about to inform them of what may or may not have happened. No, he was positive she'd summoned Blue Eyes. Twice he'd seen that happen, and while he hadn't quite trusted Atem, he couldn't ignore where the evidence was falling. Those snakes had been real (he'd gotten quite a few questions on them as well) as had the dragon. After several more attempts to try and through him off his game by rewording the questions, the employee nodded and left.
Kaiba looked towards the apartments and narrowed his eyes. He was going to get some information from Atem if it was the last thing he did. A smirk rose as he thought of the dead weight that was Yuugi. Atem didn't appreciate much Kaiba's treatment of his little boyfriend. Kaiba couldn't care less. He looked down at the bandage that had been put on his arm and headed towards the apartments.

Abel and Nyarlathotep had separated shortly after exiting the apartment complex. Abel doubted the demon had listened to him. He doubled the demon would listen to his summons without him being at full power, either, or proving somehow that he wasn't some kind of cowardly Bel demon like Belphegor had been.
He paused as he heard a beep from his COMP, and pulled it out of his pocket. He frowned as he saw who it was from. He'd gotten a mail from Yuugi's COMP earlier that day, but it had been Atem writing... His expression fell as he read the first sentence of the message. Atem again. Spotting a bench nearby, he sat down and started reading the message.
So Lucifer had attacked Adachi after he and Nyarlathotep had left. From the sound of things, the others knew about that little deal Adachi had made with Lucifer. Abel hadn't been there for the actual soul-selling, but he could assume what had happened. He looked up as he saw an ambulance speed past, and then looked back down at the message. It looked like Atem wanted as much information as possible on Lucifer.
Abel looked a little depressed as he moved on to the second section. He didn't remember much about the TV World. Really, he didn't remember much of that month he'd spent in this world. Three months had passed, and he'd so far separated himself from the events of this world during that time that only the really strong memories had remained. He'd forgotten Minato almost altogether during that time.
But he could remember something about the rain and the TV World... the rain brought fog, and when fog appeared, the Shadows killed people in the TV World. He continued on. He already knew why Teddie couldn't aid them thanks to what Nyarlathotep. Once he finished reading, he closed the COMP and leaned back in the bench and looked up at the sky. He wanted to help them. He was still feeling guilty over what he'd done to Bakura. Finally, he sat up and concentrated some Magatsuhi in his hand. It was difficult to do with his demonic energies suppressed, and for a moment he thought he was going to have to rip the MP3 player off of his shirt just to pull up enough to summon a demon. But he managed it, and the energy came off of his hand before forming into a humanoid shape in front of Abel.
What Abel summoned wasn't really a demon, but more like a goddess. She had her resemblances to Kikuri-Hime, which was more than a bit painful for Abel. But he knew she was reliable, and her powers were similar to Kikuri-Hime's.
"Ame-no-Uzume," Abel said. The demon bowed. Abel took a deep breath. "I need you to do something for me, Uzume..."
---------------------
"It's a possibility," Naoto said. "If he has memories going back to when he was alive as Abel, he probably would know about Lucifer."
"I don't want to ask him... but we might not have a choice," Souji said. He looked up as he heard some sirens getting closer. "That's the ambulance. Kanji, do you think you can help Adachi downstairs?"
"Yeah, I guess," Kanji said, and walked over to Adachi, who was trying to stand up on his own. He seemed a bit wobbly, but after a moment, he pulled away from Kanji.
"I can make it downstairs myself," Adachi grumbled. Kanji looked toward Souji.
"Just go with him," Souji shrugged. Kanji grumbled and followed after Adachi.

(OOC: I'll have Atem's response shortly. I figure its not exactly lightning to type these long messages. XD)
Yuugi stood up as Kanji walked over towards Adachi. He seemed fairly depressed. Maybe Adachi was a "bad" person. He didn't want to doubt Souji on that fact. But there was another fact. Bakura had put his trust in Adachi, at least for a while. And Adachi had tried to protect him, even at the cost of his soul. He moved to the side so Kanji and Adachi could get past. Jounouchi moved up the stairs when Anzu did, allowing the man and the tall teenager past.
"Jounouchi-kun, Anzu, are you sure you aren't tired?"
"I couldn't sleep if my life depended on it right now," Jounouchi said, leaning forward a bit as soon as he could so he could look into the hall, "All you guys gonna be okay?"
"Everyone should sleep," Teddie said, "We have to rescue Bakura-kun tomorrow!"
"Yuugi, why do you ask?"
Yuugi gave a weak grin, "I want to tell you everything that's been going on."
----------
Kaiba had reached the apartments in this space of time. He didn't miss the ambulence alarms, nor that it was approaching. He did not the oddity of it, but it was rather beside his focus at the time. He looked down at arm. The bandage was wrapped tightly around it and the sleeve of his blackshirt had been rolled up to allow the bandage to be applied. He frowned and unrolled his sleeve.
The time he took allowed the ambulence to pull up just as Kanji and Adachi came out of the apartment. She smoothed down his sleeve and looked up. Kaiba noted the brash teenager from before and there was a man he didn't know, but nothing more was done as he walked past them. He didn't seem to care about the situation in the slightest.
(OOC: Kaiba's wearing his usual outfit sans the armlet/bracer on his left arm for obvious reasons. XD He does look a bit unbalanced as a result, though.)

Souji watched Kanji and Adachi head down the stairs until Teddie said they should go to bed. He turned toward the others and nodded. He frowned as Yuugi said he was going to explain everything to Jounouchi and Anzu. He supposed it had to happen eventually.
Naoto walked over to Souji and frowned at him. "Sempai, I think you need the most sleep out of all of us. You haven't slept since you returned from the other side, have you."
"Didn't want to take a chance of sleeping through the Dark Hour," Souji said. He always stayed awake through the Dark Hour. Mainly out of habit, but he really didn't feel safe sleeping through something like that.
Minato grimaced. "...That would explain why you look like you're about to fall over any minute. Souji, you need to go to bed."
Souji shrugged. He'd go once the others were heading to bed themselves.
-----------------
Adachi managed to make it over to the ambulance on his own, leaving Kanji wondering what he was even doing down there. He looked up as he saw someone coming his way, and scowled as he realized who it was.
"What the hell are you doin' here?" Kanji growled. Kaiba had ignored him and headed right toward the apartments. "Hey! I'm talkin' to ya!" Kanji yelled as he followed Kaiba.

"Souji-kun..." Yuugi said as Souji revealed what his problem was.
"Uh... pardon me for a moment here," Jounouchi said, "Dark Hour? What?"
"I'll explain when we get back to the apartment, Jounouchi-kun," Yuugi stated.
"Seta-san, I don't quite understand," she gave Yuugi a look as if to say she knew something, "But everyone is right. You should go to bed."
"Don't tell the man what to do, Anzu," Jounouchi said.
Yuugi smiled as Anzu let out a sigh over Jounouchi. It was another one of those slightly bitter yet warm smiles that he'd been doing far more of since Anzu and Jounouchi had come to the Island. They were his closest friends, after all, the ones he had begun to suspect he'd never see again. He gave a kind smile yet critical smile towards Souji (it was rather like some of Atem's expressions) and walked up the stairs, gesturing for Jounouchi and Anzu to follow.
----------
Kaiba stopped short just in front of the door. It was possible Kanji could run into him the way he'd done it, but if he did the brown haired teenager had braced himself and didn't stumble. He turned his head towards Kanji after a few moments.
"I have business to attend to and no need to waste my time on the film at the bottom of the bucket."
Kaiba grabbed the door to the apartments, thankful it was his left arm that had been injured, and pulled the door open. He didn't look inclined to wait.
(OOC: If Kanji wants to have anger management issues, I support stopping Kaiba by grabbing his left lower arm! =D Even with the shirt over it, he'd probably feel the bandaid wrapping and Kaiba WOULD react. XD)

"Alright already," Souji groaned as the others told him what he already knew: that he needed sleep. He still waited for Yuugi, Anzu and Jounouchi to head up the stairs and Naoto to start heading downstairs before starting to walk to his own apartment with Teddie.
----------------------
"Hey, wait!" Kanji yelled, and grabbed Kaiba by his left arm, and then drew back after doing so. It felt like Kaiba was wearing some kind of wrapping under his sleeve like.... bandages?

Kaiba hissed and jerked his hand away from Kanji as soon as his hand clamped around his lower left arm. The fact that Kanji had released meant the hands pulled away from each other rather well. The slightly taller teenager glared at Kanji as he flexed his fingers, looking at them for a moment before returning an even more intense death glare towards the bleach blond.
"I do not need to wait for trash that thinks physical violence solves everything!" Kaiba growl was loud enough to also be a shout, "I have business here and you are anything but part of it. Leave me alone!"
Kaiba whirled around, causing his already impressive trenchcoat to gain a few extra points. He turned the handle he had previously put his hand on and yanked the door open. If Kanji ran at him, it was more than possible he'd run right into the door as Kaiba slammed it.
----------
Anzu and Jounouchi had followed Yuugi up the stairs. Anzu had given an apologetic bow towards the group, so she was just behind Jounouchi as Yuugi reached the apartment. He opened the door and walked in. Atem got to his feet and nodded his head towards Jounouchi and Anzu.
"I'm back, Atem," Yuugi said.
"Partner, is something wrong?"
"Atem, we have to tell them everything."
"Only if its not too much trouble!" Anzu stated.
"Hey, speak for yourself! Yuugi, how long have you been here? Those people downstairs aren't acting like they just met you!"
Atem looked towards Yuugi, "I'm willing to, but are you comfortable with it?"
"Atem, they're our friends! They have to know!"
Atem nodded, "Jounouchi-kun, Anzu, please sit down."

Kanji gave a rather intense glare toward Kaiba as well as the man growled out his statement.
"What the hell's your problem!?" Kanji yelled as he ran after Kaiba. The timing of things meant he ran into the door as it slammed, causing Kanji to scowl even more. He pulled the door open and ran into the building.
At that particular moment, Naoto was coming down the stairs from the second floor. She raised an eyebrow at the scene. "Kaiba-san, Kanji-kun, what exactly is going on here?"

Kaiba was ignoring Kanji. However, he didn't miss Naoto as she was headed down the stairs, but had carried intentions of walking past her when he heard Kanji come up behind him and Naoto asked her question. He had gotten his expression under control, so now it was just his usual unkind scowl. He looked up Naoto, ignoring Kanji further, as she asked her question.
"Nothing is going on aside from the barking of dog who doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'stay'," Kaiba stated, his voice flat, "If you'll excuse me, I'm no more here for you than I am for it."
He hadn't even been nice enough to use a specific gender pronoun for Kanji. He'd gestured ever so slightly with his head as he said it, so there was no doubt (especially to Naoto) who he was indicating with it. He pulled his left arm a little closer so he wouldn't bump it as he went to step past Naoto. There was still a chance for her to get in his way if she so chose. He was also holding his arm in a way that if Kanji felt like grabbing an arm again, it would be far simpler to grab his right or a shoulder. It really wasn't a severe amount of favoring, but Naoto wouldn't miss it.
----------
Anzu and Jounouchi had sat down on the couch at Atem's suggestion. Atem had grabbed a foldable chair for both he and Yuugi. Yuugi was sitting in his properly, but Atem had swung it around and was using the top to support his hands. They were on either side of the couch, with Atem closer to Jounouchi. Yuugi fidgeted a bit, and after several false starts finally began to talk.
"It's been... two months ago I think. Me and Atem were still sharing a body and I met Minato-kun. He's the one with blue haire you've met already. He helped me get to the hotel and with some money issues so I could stay there for awhile, and I met K1-kun there. You haven't met him..." Yuugi looked pained as he said that. Anzu looked concerned and Jounouchi seemed about ready to say something when Yuugi lifted his head and began to speak again, "K1-kun had this thing called a COMP..."
Atem lifted the gold COMP into the air, "They're portable gaming devices. They seem to be more advanced than the one's from our world, and if I had to guess are several generations ahead of the Game Boy and Game Gear devices."
Yuugi nodded, "And his had this program on it called the Demon Summoning Program."
"The what!?" Jounouchi pretty much shouted.
"....like that thing Atem-kun fought?"
"No, nothing like that! At least... well... not entirely. Nothing that strong. May I continue?"
"Of course! Jounouchi-kun, shut up."
"Hey, you interuppted too!"
"Both of you be quiet," Atem stated flatly.
Anzu looked ashamed. Jounouchi's eyes widened and he looked towards Atem. There was that face. Even with his own body Jounouchi more than knew that face. He let out a sigh and turned back towards Yuugi, who looked a combination of intimidated, apologetic, and depressed. Atem looked up towards Yuugi, who seemed to realize it despite not looking at him. The short teenager took in a breath and continued.
"In any case, after we met in the lobby these distortions around the hotel teleported me into a broom closet. Atem took control there, and I've only got a kind of patchy memory..."
"We landed in a broom closet, and I left. Before this, Minato-kun had helped me investigate something with the Duel Monsters cards. He knows about our world as apparently in his both an anime and manga have been made," Atem gave a firm look at Jounouchi as he opened his mouth. Something similar to a squeak came out, but that look... Jounouchi let out a sigh, and Atem heard him mumble something about him being more strict than usual. Atem ignored it and continued speaking, "And suggested that I try the cards as a method of defense. It turned out I could summon Kuriboh."
"I summoned Black Magician via a spell card, not yet realizing the monster spirits have more in common with how they functioned in Ancient Egypt than as a card game. With Black Magician's help, I was able to find K1 again. It was around this time the first signs of the demon summoning program were revealed, he had a creature called Jack Frost. Black Magician aided in finding one of the sources of trouble, and we worked together to defeat a demon called Orcus. After the fight, K1 gave Partner the COMP and helped him register himself as its user."

Naoto scowled as Kaiba spoke. She might have let Kaiba go past if he hadn't referred to Kanji as a "dog." It had been at that moment that she'd scowled, and it was at that moment she stepped in front of Kaiba.
"I would prefer if you didn't insult my friends," Naoto stated. "I'm not quite sure where you get that kind of arrogance from, but there's no reason why you should insult Kanji-kun like that."
Kanji was standing behind Kaiba, still glaring at him, as Naoto continued. "If you're here to see Yuugi, he's most likely asleep. He had a hectic day, and I doubt you barging into his apartment for some reason or another will help things."

Kaiba jerked back in a manner rather clumsy for the teen's mannerisms in general as Naoto cut him off. It was because if he had run into her, he would have bumped his left arm. With how he was holding it, probably in her face. The boy was probably about the same height as Yuugi. At least his mannerisms were more like Atem's. Kaiba frowned.
"I'm not here to see that insignificant piece of trash, I'm here to see Atem, and I refuse to wait. As for insulting your 'friends', perhaps I wouldn't need to if you had better tastes in them."
----------
"After that, K1-kun registered me on his COMP and I did the same. I think that kind of thing is common in his world, and even I can see the internet heading that way with what Otogi-kun has shown of his computer. After that, he seemed really depressed and wouldn't talk anymore. He seemed to think something was floating above his head. The next day came and we suddenly got an e-mail on my COMP from someone named "The Observer". It said that K1-kun was going to die tomorrow due to thunderstorms in a nearby park. Atem figured out that had to be why he was so depressed, and we decided to go to the park to wait for him," Yuugi gave a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of his head, "I'm not sure why I thought we could change it, I guess it just seemed bad not to try."

"What the hell's that supposed to mean?!" Kanji yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"There is absolutely no reason to insult him like that, Kaiba," Naoto stated. Her gaze drifted to Kaiba's left arm for a moment. Something about the way he was holding it was suspicious. Like he'd injured it somehow. She looked back up at him. "Either of them. Yuugi-kun is not an 'insignificant piece of trash' and Kanji-kun is not a 'dog'."
She was holding her position rather well, and if Kaiba tried to go around her, she would shift her position so that he couldn't. She wanted a proper explanation before she let him go upstairs. After all, Yuugi and Atem had Jounouchi and Anzu staying with them, and she doubted Kaiba would be anywhere near civil with them.

Kaiba turned to Kanji as he yelled, "The meaning is the same as the words. Do your ears need to be cleaned out?"
And then Naoto continued with her part of the conversation. Kaiba turned back and took a step to the side. Naoto neatly cut him off. Kaiba had such an unpleasant expression on his face it was all but twitching. He looked up the stairs for a moment before looking back down at Naoto.
"'Kanji' is a brutish oaf who seems to think the solution to his problems come from his fists. Yuugi is a weakling who is unable to fight his own battles," Kaiba was staring Naoto straight in the eyes. He opened his mouth at just the right point to cut off her objections, "If you choose to argue that point, take it up with him. He is the one that refuses to defend himself with a Duel. He is simply proving my point he is too frightened to fight his own battles."
----------
"I sorta spent the night on a park bench," Yuugi gave another nervous chuckle, "I mean, I didn't mean to, but I fell asleep. When K1-kun showed up, we talked a bit. He actually already knew about Atem, even though he'd never read the manga or seen the anime. I only know his world has it cause one of his friends, Atsuro-kun, knows about it. I let Atem handle the fight that came after that."
"The 'Laplace Mail', named after a scientific theory, had said K1 would die in a lightning storm. Due to our decision to help him, these things called Death Clocks able to tell when a person would die by the Laplace Mail, floated above our head. It was aligned to K1, at zero. It turned out the cause of the forecast was an animated marionette. I worked together with K1, and we managed to stop the doll. From there Partner remembered that he had planned on meeting Minato-kun, and K1 accompanied us to these apartments."
