"Sorry," Fox grinned sheepishly.
"Alright!" E. Gadd got everyone's attention ",Here's where you will sleep for tonight." He gestured towards a few cots that were in random places in the back room. "Make yourselves comfortable, if you're planning on staying up please be quiet. I'm old, I can't be staying up that late anymore. So goodnight everyone!"
"Night."

Geno sighed. "....Finally," he muttered once again, flopping down and enjoying the company of his pillow as he dozed off.
Luigi giggled as he tucked himself in.

As the night dragged on Fox couldn't sleep. For hours he just lay there staring at the ceiling. He couldn't take it anymore so he got up and left the room. He quietly snuck towards the ladder when he accidently kicked a tool. He stood as still as a statue as it hit a nearby piece of machinery. After a few seconds of silence he continued on up the ladder and outside.

"Mmm... huh?" Luigi snorted, then woke up, having heard a noise. He tiredly surveyed his surroundings; Geno was asleep in his cot still, sawing logs, but Fox was not.
"Hmm... wonder if he couldn't sleep?" Curious, he quietly got up and went up the ladder, as that's where the discarded tool that had fallen over was laying.

Fox sat against a nearby tree and stared up at the full moon looming above the mansion. He seemed mesmerized by it. He didn't even notice anyone had followed him.

Fox instantly jumped to his feet.
"Holy sh** Luigi! Don't scare me like that..." Fox replied breathing heavily from getting the crap scared out of him. He quickly composed himself though ",I'm just here cause I can't sleep. Something doesn't seem right and it's really bothering me."

"Hmm," Fox closed his eyes in thought ", Yeah...hopefully everything goes well..."
A strange noise came from the mansion and Fox's eyes shot open and looked up at the eerie building. It was now glowing with a weird purple aura.
"What the hell?"

"I'm not sure but I'm gonna find out," Fox ran off towards the glowing building.
Meanwhile back in the lab, E. Gadd got up. He sleepily headed up to the ladder and outside. Silently he watched the scene, like a mindless zombie almost.
