"Well, it says that it is made completely from the energy of ghosts, so basically it's like a giant ghost that's surrounding the manor. Ghosts often form a ghost aura to protect something, and sometimes just to capture people and keep others out, kind of like our situation here."

Geno flipped through his own share of books. "Hmm... Luigi, you know if Gadd's got any ghostifying inventions? He sounds like the guy to have that kind of stuff."
"Beats me," Luigi shrugged. "...I still think this is a crazy idea."

Fox went to pick up a book he dropped but hit his head on something metal.
"Ow! Geeze what the hell was...," he looked up at the small machine in the corner. He never paid any attention to it before. He read the label that said "S.S.M. (Spirit Seperation Machine)".
"Maybe this could do something," Fox pointed it out to the other two.

"...wow. I guess he does," Geno replied, slamming his book closed as punctuation.
"Great..." Luigi moaned.
"So..." Geno approached the machine and walked around it, eyeballing it and trying to see what activated it. He saw what looked to be the point of a laser. "Huh?"

Fox looked around the machine and hit a button wondering what it did. Geno was in front of the laser point at the same time. A beam fired and hit Geno.
"Oops."
Suddenly Geno's spirit was seperated from his body.
"Whoa! It worked!"

"WHOAEEEEK!" Luigi jumped a few feet in the air at ghosty Geno.
"....well, it ain't TOO different," Geno commented. "I am a Star Spirit, anyways..."

Fox aimed the laser at Luigi and pressed the button again, firing it off.
Luigi's spirit was seperated like Geno's.
"Looks like I'm the last one," Fox shrugged, shooting himself with the beam and seperating his spirit as well.
