The whiteness of the OOC Roleplaying boards was actually a good place to get away from the tangles life had thrown him. It was wide and empty, and left him with nothing but his thoughts. Even if there were other people venturing here, the area was wide enough that they never in the least bothered him.
It was a good place to be alone... but that wasn't what he wanted at all. So why was he here?
Edd currently had a book in hand that he had meant to catch up on before Felix had left him. He was trying to distract his clashing thoughts with it... without much success, of course.

(Music for the OOC RP Boards www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDE0uMHRUdcHey, I couldn't help it. Since we decided their white... =D ) Trevor stumbles about in the white nothingness. "This place is creepy. Who decided that this world should be white nothingness anyway? Already reminds me of the World of Nothingness from..." "STOP BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL ALREADY!" Trevor fell to the ground, tripping on his own feet after being startled by the sudden voice. He picked himself up, drawing his swords, looking around for the sign of the voice. He saw a figure and approached it cautiously, but sheathed his swords when he recognized the sock hat and sad demeanor. "Thank God. A familiar face. How have you been Double D?" Trevor asked hapilly.

Double D jumped a little at Trevor's fall, and was about to ask if he was alright, but he looked to have picked himself up rather quickly. And he didn't want to seem mother-henning.
"...mm," he breathed out listlessly in reply, thumbing the page in his book. "...alright as I'll ever be. I found this place before and wanted a quiet area to catch up on my reading..." He stared at the pages with downcast eyes. "...try and get these thoughts muddled in greif out of my head."

"... If you're looking to get grief out of your head, ya might've wanted to try the Koi River, someplace with a little more atmosphere. Unless you're trying to scare it out, hon. This place is as creepy as sin. If you've ever played Super Paper Mario, you'd know why." Trevor was then sure he could hear sobbing. By this point, he figured Michael gave up on stopping the breaking of the fourth wall and just resigned to bawing about it. Good thing Edd couldn't hear. "Anyway... still depressed about... he-who-must-not-be-named then?"

Double D sighed. "First of all, I don't care if you refer to Felix by name. Him and I have moved on, remember?"
He turned away, bookmarking his reading now that he had someone to talk to. "...it's less about him... and more about me. I... I've faced many perils and terrifying enemies... and in the end of it all..." He looked up meekly at Trevor. "...it's... being alone that scares me the most. It's not having someone to hold close, to cry into their shoulder, to caress, to kiss..." He shivered lightly, feeling cold in this barren, empty world all of the sudden.

Trevor looked at Edd softly as he opened his heart. "Umm..." He tried to form something coherent to say. After his brain actually got to working, he took Edd's hand in his. "You still have us, you know. Your friends, the people who care about you... but, if nothing else, you have me. Even if the others were to defect for whatever reason, I would never leave... I see no reason why any of us would leave you alone though. Then again, I can't reason why anyone would leave such a beautiful angel."

"I, I know I do..." Double D dolefully got out before Trevor continued on, giving him close to the same speech he'd heard before. And he loved his friends and family, with all his heart and soul, but it just... wasn't... the same...!
His face flushed at those last two words, and he covered part of his face with his free hand. "Ohhh... Trevor.. you're... such a tease," he managed, figuring Trevor was doing his usual joke-flirting routine to help him temporarily feel better.

Trevor sighed, part of his hair covering his face. "Yeah... a total tease..." he said softly as he stood next to Edd, still holding his hand, looking up at the sky. "But... y'know, say I wasn't teasing... and yet I told the one that I love how I felt about them and they said I was teasing... I guess I can't blame anyone but myself for always being so... flirtuitous... can I?"

Double D's weak smile quickly faded as it began to dawn on him. "Oh....ohhhhh.... oh!"
He blushed furiously, but hurried to stand on his feet and fully face Trevor. "I-I... really? Trevor, I-I didn't know, I... I-I'm sorry...!"
He bit his lip, his chest tightening with that irrational fear again. "I don't... mean to push you away... i-if that's what it looked like, I... I'm sorry..."

Trevor chuckled softly and wrapped Edd into a hug. "Well at least you understand," he said softly. "I kinda... always wanted a chance, but I knew to step aside. I didn't want you to be hurt when you were happy with... him. But the reason I can't forgive him is because he went and tore you apart. To do something like that to someone so kind, benevolent, and beautiful..."

Double D gave out a small squeak when Trevor embraced him, enveloped in his... warmth. His lovely, lovely warmth. He quickly became comfortable within Trevor's arms, and as he continued talking... more lukewarm tears came to his face, at the mix of his greif and the tenderness in his complimenting words that he didn't feel he deserved...
Softly, he leaned closer to Trevor, burying his face into the Brit's shirt and masking his quiet sobs.

Trevor felt Edd bury his head into his chest and he held the angel there softly. "It's ok Edd," he said softly, fingers stroking his back comfortingly as he kept him warm and safe. "You do not need to hide your true feelings around me."

And hide he would no longer. There were things he needed to get off his chest terribly.
"I....I-I don't... understand...!" Double D hiccuped, pressing into Trevor further. "I did everything I could for him... I-I thought I was doing everything right... h-how did he stray so far without me seeing it? A-am I just blind to the obvious??"
He didn't wait for an answer, came to his own weak conclusion. "...if... if he caused so much misery for my sake... only to throw me aside... that just... p-pa-proves... my worth... d-doesn't it..."

Trevor listened to Double D's lamenting, holding him softly as he got what he needed to off his chest. He then shook his head. "Hell no it doesn't," he said. "It only proves his lack of stability, his lust for power. He was a meek little tyke when you found him, wasn't he? I remembered those days he was wishin' for the power to protect ya. I guess when he finally got it, it went to his head." He kneeled down to Edd's height slowly and gave him a smile. "Your worth is more then you think it is. I'm sure they've already told you this time and time again, but God would not have made you the Angel of Light if he didn't think you were worthy. Everything that happens is supposedly part of his plan, right? Though I don't know if saying that would make things sound better... actually makes God sound like a douc-ok, I need to shut up now." He shook his head with an embarassed blush. "The point I'm trying to make is that, even if you don't see it yourself, I think you're worth more then all the stars in the sky."

Double D took a moment to absorb Trevor's words, his chest clenching again, but this time with a warm feeling instead of a sharp stab like before. His tears wouldn't cease yet, but, sniffling, he cracked half a watery smile.
"T...Trevor... do you... really... honestly.. mean that?" Felix had... never told him anything so poetic.
