[This thread generally takes place in Arcadia Valley, but since this doesn't have any real continuity to any of the plots, and has no general point where it links to a continuity, it shall take place here.]
It was a relatively normal day in Arcadia Valley, as we zoom in on Neo Town. Now, Neo Town was pretty well known in Arcadia Valley; for starters, it was the very first place to actually have the Valley's first school. Secondly, it was well known for it's being so close to Teldesari Lake, a popular spot for young couples to go on romantic strolls...
And lastly and most importantly, it was in this town's outskirts that the famed heroes, Otto, Wally, and their tenant Kosumu lived. We turn our attention to said two story establishment, which was fairly big, and fairly colored. Inside, we find Wally sitting on the couch, reading a few of his favorite comic books, his dog Courage along with him.
In the other room, one could find Otto sitting in a meditative stance, intensely focused on mind over matter... so much so that he was lifted off the ground.
And as for Kosumu? He was upstairs in the attic, carefully positioning little glowing lights on the cieling, that looked like miniature stars. Had to give Kosumu this, had it been up to him, this planet's weather would ALWAYS be perfect, so he would ALWAYS be sleeping under the stars. But hey, when some nippy weather came up, he made do. For now though, he was doing it mostly out of boredom.
... Suddenly, downstairs, there was a knock at the door.
Wally lifted his head from his reading at the sound. "Huh? Now who could that be?"

Courage's own head-lift and noise of confusion almost mirrored Wally's. With the other two preoccupied, the dog leaped up, padded across the floor, opened the door, and looked up.
"Ahhh... hello, Courage." The grin that greeted him, though it was somewhat strained with stress, was welcome, of course. Courage waved excitedly up at Double D, but made another sound of confusion at the toddler huddled in his arms, taking in her surroundings with wide eyes of pale blue.

Wally was the next to see Double D, and he smiled pretty widely at the sight of him. "Ah!! Double D mate! So good ta see ya!" He was quick to jump off the couch, and rush up to him. "How've ya been mate?" Of course, he was also the second person to see Marion. "Awwww!! Hi there little sheilah, hello-hello it's your uncle Wally!" He spoke those last couple of lines in a sing-song fashion, following it up with a couple of baby like babbles.
Likely trying to make Marion laugh, it seemed.

Marion, of course, giggled sweetly, waving back to Wally. Courage got out a smile; how sweet she was! Definitely a nice change.
"Ahhh, well, we're all rather busy, actually," Double D replied, sounding a little winded. "Preparing for upcoming struggles and such... everyone's running about like a bunch of mad things, and there are times when anyone's hardly ever home."
Remembering why he was here, he straightened up hopefully. "So, then... that offer you made, about watching over Marion... is that still valid with your move to Arcadia Valley?"

Wally smiled widely at the proposition, "Oh mate, of course it is! You didn't even need to ask!" Looking quite excited, he quickly held up his index finger. "Hold on one second. I'm gonna get Otto."
He then ran out of the room as quick as a flash. Just as fast, he came back in dragging a dazed looking Otto. "Huh? Wally what's going on in-" He turned to see Double D and Marion. "Double D?"
Wally took the time to explain. "Guess what mate? Double D's having a rough time of it, so he's asking us to look after Marion! Isn't that just awesome?!"
Judging by Otto's expression, there was many things he thought about that, but awesome wasn't one of them. "Baby-sitting Wally? Really?"
Ignoring him, Wally walked up to Double D with a smile. "See he's thrilled!" Again, thrilled looked like the last word Double D would use for his expression.
[Keeping to character, it's understandible why Otto would act like this; he was never good with kids. but we'll just see if we can change that in this little thread now can't we? XDDDD]

Double D bit his lip. "Yes... thrilled."
Still, he shook his head, and when Wally eagerly offered his arms, the angel carefully handed his daughter over. Marion made a confused noise, looking back. "...Daddy?"
"Daddy has many... MANY things to do, Marion," Double D tried to explain, leaning in to comfort her with a caress. "So Uncle Wally and Uncle Otto are going to watch over you for a while. I won't be gone very long, I just want you to be in safe, capable hands."
"Aww..." Marion pouted a little. "Okay..."
"Come on, now..." He tsked, tickling her belly and getting a sweet giggle out of her. "Put on a smile for Otto and Wally. And be good for them, okay? No invisible hide-n-seek!"
"Teeheehee! Okay"

Wally chuckled sweetly at the girl, before looking to Double D. "You go on ahead and go on mate. I'm sure whatever business is going on really requires your attention, so don't let us keep ya here any longer."
"Double D, wait a second-"
Otto couldn't finish before Wally quickly pulled him aside. "Uh, excuse me mate." With Marion in hand, he looked to Otto once the two were a foot away. "Oh come on Otto Mate, Double D's obviously got no-one else to look after Marion. He needs our help here." He whispered quickly and to the point, cooing to Marion.
Otto looked a little uncomfortable at this revelation. "Cut me some slack Wally, you know I'm not good with kids." He whispered back with increasing discomfort. "You remember what happened to Rin-Rin's little brother do you?"
Wally couldn't help but chuckle, remembering the event quite well. "Aw mate, does Mawion wook wike a bwat to you?" He held Marion up to Otto's eye level, before putting her on his shoulders. Otto looked quite displeased still, leading Wally to roll his eyes, "Oh okay mate, if you feel that strongly about it, I'll look after Marion, and we'll be sure to leave ya alone. Cross my heart."
It took a moment, but Otto finally sighed, conceding. "Fine... I'll hold ya to that though."
With that said, the two turned back to Double D and gave him a thumbs-up. "Not to worry mate, your daughter will be okay with us, you go on ahead m'kay?"

"Ah, good, yes, thank you!" Double D bowed at the doorway. "I-I'll find some way to make it up to you, I promise!" And with that, he took flight to do his urgant business.
That left them with sweet little Marion, who gave the both of them a smile that would put the Johnson and Johnson baby to shame. From below, Courage smiled too.
Still... what did he mean by "invisible hide-n-seek?"

Wally returned the sweet little smile with a wide one of his own. "Awww, aintcha just the sweetest thing?"
Otto though?
"Well, I guess with that said, I'll get back to my meditation." That was the last thing said, before, with a shrug, he walks back to the reading room.
If Marion paid this any mind, Wally put it aside. "Aw, don't worry about the grumpy old meanie little lady. You still have me, Courage, and Kosumu to play with." He snaps his fingers. "Speaking of which... Hey Kosumu!!" He yelled up to the cieling. "Come on down, take a look at who's here!"
It wasn't more then half a minute later that Kosumu floated (His feet at least 3 feet off the ground) idly down the stairs, looking a bit bored. "What Wally?" He asked typically.
With a grin, Wally showed off Marion. "Look who Double D trusted us with! Remember Marion?"
Kosumu looked to the girl a second before smiling, replacing his bored expression. "Awww!" He cooed a bit at the girl. "Hi!" He held out his pinkie finger to the girl. "Me Kosumu!" It was likely at this moment that, if Marion was older, she'd have noticed Kosumu's verbal tic, only speaking in one liners... But hey, she was a toddler after all.

Marion smiled hugely for Wally, though it faded as she watched Otto walk away. "Awww..." She wandered why Otto was being so grumpy for, and wasn't distracted from that thought until Kosumu appeared. This quickly brightened her up; finally, another child around her age to play with!
She giggled sweetly as she shook the boy's hand, cocking her head a little at his manner of speech. It sounded a little funny, but her father taught her to be politely, and she smiled. "I'm Marion!"

Kosumu gushed at the cuteness, before turning to Wally. "Staying?" He pointed to Marion to clarify his question.
Wally chuckled. "For a little while, yeah Kosumu. Double D wants us to babysit. It's so great to have the chance." He proceeded to ruffle Marion's hair. "She's such a little cutie!"

Marion giggled sweetly, cocking her again down at little Courage. The dog looked up, demurely churning his hind paws and waving shyly.

After a few seconds of that, Wally grinned before setting Marion down, and getting down on his knees to stay with her general eye level. "Now let's see, what can we do now that you're here..."
Kosumu looked quite giddy before holding up his hand. "Game! Game!" Wally snapped his fingers at the suggestion.
"Sounds like as good an idea as any... But what should we play?" He chuckled, an idea coming, before he looked to Marion. "What do you wanna play little sheilah? This is 'Play with the little sweetie' time after all!"

"Mmmmmm..." Marion putting on a thinking face that comically reflected her father's thinking face. Then she grinned widely, giggling. "Hide and Seek! Hide and Seek!!"
Courage's grin dropped slightly. Based on what was said eariler, that... didn't sound good.

Wally must've forgotten about what Double D said about 'Invisible Hide and seek', because nothing about that suggestion seemed to bother him. "Ah, what a great idea Marion! I like the idea."
"Me too!" Kosumu chimed in. "Who's it?"
Thinking about this a moment, Wally grinned. "I guess I'll be it. I'm pretty good at finding people." He smiles as he looks around, before finding the couch. "Okay, the couch is the base. I'll count to 50 then come looking for you guys, okay?"
With that said, he sat on the couch and covered his eyes. "1... 2... 3..."
As Wally counted, Kosumu quickly jetted off in another direction, intent on finding a place to hide.
