Otto was, again, caught by surprise by the sweet and tender motion. He looked down at the girl, as she continued hugging him... One could tell he wasn't used to such a thing. And for good reason.
One of his earlier missions when he was still in the knights was to look after the young prince of the Valley. At first, it sounded like a cakewalk... Before it was revealed that the prince was a COMPLETE spoiled brat. Otto was practically on wits end by the princes 'Get's whatever he wants, WHENEVER he wants', attitude at least 5 minutes in... And it continued for a good 9 HOURS AFTERWARD... With that in mind, Otto's hesitance to even THINK about looking after Marion was quite justified...
Still... Just this little moment, seemed to warm a little portion of his chest, coming quite close to that heart of his. Of course it didn't come close enough to completely warm it but... Yeah, it warmed it enough.
One could tell he looked a bit... Uncomfortable in his current position, but he put it aside... Somewhat. "Um... Okay... This is quite sweet of you Marion, and I'm glad you liked the story, but..." He was struggling to find an excuse by this point. "But I should try to get back to... uh... Meditating! Yeah, that's it. I have lots of stuff I need to prepare myself for... You understand."
Of course, Marion, being the smart girl she was, would've been able to see that Otto was just quite flustered by the sudden motion, and was trying to support his earlier made 'Not good with kids' motif... Even if it was complete tough guy bull-$#it, and a refusal to try.

Marion giggled quite sweetly, pulling away and giving Otto a big grin. "Oooookay," she agreed, hopping off his lap. "I'll go find Uncle Wally!" With that, she turned invisible again and snuck up to the stairs, crawling her way up.

Otto watched as Marion left, aware of where she was even after she vanished from sight... Sighing, he went back into his meditative stance... After a second of that, a small ghost of a smile appeared on his face.
Heh, what a sweet little girl.
-----------------------------------------------
As all of this went on outside of his attention, Wally had opened every door, and looked in every room on the second floor. The only room he HADN'T checked by that point was Kosumu's room. Wally grinned as he approached; Heh, what more obvious place could a kid hide then in his own room? "And behind door number 6!"
With that said, Wally opened the door and took it in. Kosumu's room was pretty bare in comparison to the others, with a simple star animated bed-roll and a single mirror in the corner... Not a lot of places to hide. When Wally looked up however, he grinned in wonder at the Miniature planetarium attached to the cieling of the room. All of those little lights of Kosumu's energy littered the cieling, creating an intricate, and, Wally could only guess, VERY exact, design, as if that was really where every single star in the sky was... Well, at least he was pretty sure he saw a mini version of the Big and Little Dippers.
He looked around briefly, since there was really no place TO hide in this room... And much to his confusion, Kosumu wasn't in THIS room either...
Okay, color Wally VERY confused...

Marion crept up very, very carefully behind Wally, and the closer she got, the better he could see his confused face. And she couldn't help herself.
A tiny little giggled escaped into the hallway.

Wally had been about to give up, when he heard Marion's giggle...
Grinning, he thought a bit. "Ah, so this is where you've been, little miss disappear! Upstairs and under my nose the whole time!"
He quickly turned... And found no-one standing in the hall... He looked a bit confused at why this was. "Huh?" Looking around, he slowly walked down the hall looking around carefully... He was SURE he had heard Marion's laugh...
With a grin, he quickly assumed Marion had taken refuge inside one of the other rooms. With this thought written, he opened the door to the bathroom and took a look. "Come out, come out, where-ever you are sheilah!"

Marion jumped and clamped her mouth shut, convinced she was caught, until Wally turned around and looked right through her. She sidestepped as Wally headed for another door. The young one grinned, continuing her giggling as she stood directly behind Wally. She could do this all day!

Wally jumped when he heard Marion's laugh once more, coming from the same spot he had passed in the hall earlier. "Huh?"
Walking out of the bathroom, he looked, but found no-one there....
"Weird..."
With that said, he thought a bit... Before he grinned. Otto's room! That was directly between Kosumu's room and the bathroom, and it sounded like she was coming from somewhere there! He walked down the hall, ONCE AGAIN passing by an invisible Marion, before he opened the door to Otto's room.
Otto's room was decorated quite conservatively, like Kosumu's. But at the very least there was still stuff in there. There was what appeared to be a lyre (a stringed instrument of a kind) sitting next to a bedroll and Japanese characters covering the walls. Wally recognized a few of them; 'Bravery', 'Dragon', 'Strength', 'Inner Character', but some were just beyond his translation.
Sitting on a dresser near the corner of the room was something Wally had not noticed before. A small picture frame that looked relatively new, and the frame itself seemed to be made out of a type of bluish gemstone metal... Temporarily forgetting the game he was playing, he snuck into the room... Which he knew without a doubt would get him into trouble if Otto found out.
Once he was close enough just for a look, without taking the frame off the drawer, the boy grinned widely when he saw it was a picture of Rin-Rin and Otto standing in front of Sensei Kahn Shinryu's dojo. Heh, looked like matchmaking for those two worked after all...
But putting that aside...
"Marion...?" Getting his attention back on the game, he looked around. "Where AAAAAARE you Marion? Come on ooooout."

Marion could not stop giggling. It was just way too fun to watch Wally bumble back and forth! She even followed him directly into Otto's room, following behind him rather close.
She faltered when he looked at the picture, cocking her head curiously. She couldn't really see the picture from this low, so when Wally moved away, she did what came to her naturally. She floated up to take a closer look.
A small "awww" rendered the air, and Wally would turn to see the picture frame floating a little off the drawer.

.............................................................................
Wally just looked at the picture frame as it floated, and took in the 'awww' as he heard it.
And you remember correctly, how he feels about scary movies? Well if you do, then I think the next response that came made a lot of sense.
"............................................................ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
-----------------------------------------------
That scream awoke Otto from his meditation...
Just in time for Wally to zoom down the stairs at top speed (And since this guy could move pretty damn fast, that was an impressive feet, since he didn't trip on his way down), and hid behind the man before he even knew what happened.
Uh...
Otto looked at Wally annoyed. "Wally, what the hell are you doing?"
Wally was shivering, sputtering, looking wide-eyed and pale out of sheer horror. "G-G-G.... G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G... G-G-G-G-G-GHOST!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE A GHOST!!!!!! CALL 9-1-1, CALL THE OBITUARIES, CALL... CALL THE GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!!!!" By this point, Wally was latched onto Otto. "Get rid of the ghost, Otto mate, make it go away, pl-e-e-e-ease..!!!!!"
.................................... .......... .......... Otto rolled his eyes in disbelief...
BY GODS, this was pathetic...

Marion burst into laughter as she watched Wally go on his little panic fit and dash out the room. She took a moment to recover, then figured she'd had enough fun with Invisible Hide-n-Seek for now. She "aww"'d at the picture one more time before setting it nicely on the drawer and floating out of the room.
As she hovered down the stairs, which was much easier than climbing them, she slowly materialized, revealing a pair of small, gossomar wings that resembeled her father's. She waved to Otto and Wally. "Hi!"

Wally watched as Marion materialized out of nowhere, along with those wings, his expression was wide-eyed. Otto meanwhile, didn't seem all that surprised by the invisibility, but DID seem surprised by the mini wings.
... ... ... ... That was when something that really SHOULD have occured to Wally since this misadventure began, occured to him...
'Invisible Hide-and-seek'...
THAT LITTLE SNEAK!
"Uh... I mean... Um..." He now looked to be 5 kinds of red in the face. "Uh.... Ummmmmm, of course I knew it was Marion! Yeah! Of course I knew!" He seperated from Otto, putting on a know-it-all smile. "Marion was just using her invisibility to keep me from finding her, and that was her upstairs! I knew all along it was her!"
...................................................
"Dude. You were pissing your pants in terror."
"Was not mate!! I knew it was her all the time!"
"No seriously, you did pee your pants."
Wally looked down, to see if that was true... ... Wait, how come they didn't look wet?
This inspired a mischievous smile out of Otto. "Made ya look, scaredy cat."

Marion opened up with big laughter at their exchange, swooping in to hug the two of them, as far around their shoulders as she could get. "You guys are so funny!" she exclaimed, her wings flittering in joy and letting loose many sparkles. "I like you lots! No wonder Daddy made you his soul-brothers!"
Courage, meanwhile, was JUST about to have a panic attack, when he heard the laughing in the other room. He took a moment to calm down, figuring the danger was over, and took to looking for Kosumu.

Wally chuckled. "Aw mate ya got me!" He wasn't really surprised; whenever a moment of comedy like that passed, Otto usually found enough comedy in him to take advantage of it, usually to insult someone in some way. Still Wally couldn't fault him for it. He was usually pretty funny when he wanted.
When Marion hugged both him and Otto, the boy grinned widely. "Aw you wittle sweet heart you!" He cooed at the little girl.
Otto meanwhile, looked a little uncomfortable at the contact, but eased into it, by only slightly. What could he say? That girl was too sweet to ignore.
--------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Kosumu was laying atop the roof of the house, looking like he was taking a nap. He was pretty confidant Wally would NEVER think to look for him there. He usually went up there at Night time to speak to his mother and siblings, but otherwise, it made for a good hiding spot.

Courage quickly began to grow worried all over again; he wasn't finding Kosumu anywhere! And he couldn't turn invisible, so that made it worse!
But... wait. Kosumu was a star child. Sooo...
Sure enough, as the dog dashed outside, he went bug-eyed as he spotted Kosumu up on the roof. He bounded and babbled, begging for him to come down before he fell off and hurt himself!

Kosumu happened to hear Courage, but shook him off. He knew that he had nothing to worry about. He could fly after all, and could easily get down anytime he so wanted. "Oh Dog!" He sat up to look down at him. "I okay! No worry!" With that said, he laid back down on the roof to continue his nap.
