Momoko looked towards the kitchen and stood up, "Cody-san, please excuse me. I must help your father, I don't want to be seen as a rude guest. Maybe you can talk with Wolf-san, here?"
She turned around and headed towards the kitchen, tapping on the door lightly with her fist before going inside and firmly shutting it behind her. It wasn't slammed, she merely wanted to make sure it was shut tight. She spoke in a whisper, and even with canine hearing, Aria would only be able to hear something was being said, not what it was.
"It might be problematic to have the wolf here," she whispered to Mr. Copycat, helping him prepare the sandwiches as she did so.

Mr. Copycat just continued slicing some tomatoes. "I was planning on telling her anyways. It's no use hiding it."
Cody looked nervous around the wolf. "Um... so, I guess you're new here..."

Aria turned her attention to Cody her eyes looking into his. "Uh, yeah I am. And I honestly don't know how I got here." While talking to Cody, she could hear voices in the kitchen. She couldn't really make it out, but she knew who were the ones talking. "So who are those two in there anyway?" she asked.

Momoko paused and turned to Mr. Copycat, "Is that wise?"
She didn't elaborate more. She could faintly see his point, it was better to know of the doppelgangers than not. Always know your enemy. But she was quite firmly standing on the opposite opinion. If she knew, the wolf could be targeted. And the reaction towards it could cause issues. Or she could go firmly into denial and put herself in more danger than any other option would present.
Momoko turned back and focused on cutting. She didn't like being in this position, and realized she wanted to shield the wolf from being put in the same. Being unable to tell friend from foe lead to not trusting anyone...

Mr. Copycat placed a few tomato slices on one sandwich, then turned to face Momoko as well. "I'm of the opinion that if I spread the knowledge to as many sentients as possible, they won't be as blindsided when they're targeted. Don't forget, there's more than a few sentient canaries here."
He then went to taking out some cheese slices. "Hmm... I wonder if our wolf friend minds dairy products? That's the problem with part-animal biologies..."
Well, that explained his constant headache at the moment. Wolves were a mild form of canary.

Cody looked to the side. "My dad... and some girl he met..."

Aria was still tapping her foot against the air, but now this was from impatience. Still hearing mumbles coming from the kitchen. Were they talking about her? Maybe she is just overeacting, after all she would rather be out here than in the streets. So it was a good thing she came upon them. Though she can't help but wonder what it is they are talking about.

Momoko looked out the kitchen, catching Aria's annoyed expression. She sighed, "I suppose I have no choice but to put this in your hands. But it seems she can hear us, so I'll go ask and see if I can placate things,"
She placed the knife down on the counter and made her way out of the kitchen, being fully back into Momoko's personality before the door opened. She walked over to Aria and addressed the wolf, "Wolf-san, we were wondering. Can you handle cheese? I know wolves in my world didn't, but they were quadrapeds..." she looked rather underconfident about herself.

Mr. Copycat laughed before continuing on to his own sandwich. While he technically didn't need to eat, he still kept his fridge stocked with all sorts of food he enjoyed. Just as well, too. He seemed to have so many visitors these days.
"Do you want me to make your sandwich, Momoko, or can you do it yourself?" Mr. Copycat asked.
Cody sighed. His dad was always like this.

Seems like the girl had left the kitchen and asked Aria a question. Could she handle cheese? Well yeah she can, but oddly enough she was more tolerant to the stuff than anyone else in her family. (her family is really her foster family as she is isn't a 100% wolf rather 90% and 10% hedgehog) "Well yeah I guess I can. I do however prefer against it and woould rather eat meat. Cheese is ok though," Aria knew about herself being part hedgehog, but nothing in her outer appearance suggest that she had any hedgehog parts. A wolf is what she looks like, and a wolf she shall be.
"You know I never got any of your names. Isn't it common curtesy to introduce yourself?"

Momoko turned towards Copycat, "I can make it myself, I've put you out too much already as it is," she shifted a bit uncomfortably, "May I request you call me Momoko-san? You are also Asian, correct? It is polite to use honorifics for most people..."
Momoko looked flustered at Aria's question, "You're right! I'm so sorry! And here I am critcizing him for being rude! My name is Miyamoto Momoko," she said, politely bowing, "Um, my first name is Momoko. I'm used to introducing myself in Japan, I am sorry if that confused you. What is your name? It seems rude to simply keep calling you Wolf-san."

Mr. Copycat looked a bit nervous at that. "I'm actually Chinese-American... so I don't know any honorifics." He gave a nervous laugh.
When Aria asked her question, Mr. Copycat grinned. "Connor Nachaffer. My friends call me Mr. Copycat, though."
Cody continued avoiding eye contact with anyone in the room. "Cody Nachaffer."

"You can just call me Aria," she answered introducing herself. She had sslowed down at her fort tapping. She just decided to continue waiting for them.

Momoko made an "ah" expression as Copycat explained his heritage. She glanced towards Aria and looked a bit uncomfortable, "I'm not used to American ways of saying names, so I should apologize now if I slip up. Excuse me, I need to go finish that sandwich," she said.
She made her way towards the kitchen, appearing to forget to shut the door. Actually, she had left it cracked on purpose, hoping to hear any conversations that occured in the living room. She did, however, work on finishing up the sandwich.

Mr. Copycat figured Momoko could finish the sandwiches herself, so he sat down next to Cody on the couch. His face suddenly turned serious.
"Aria, what do you know about shapeshifters?" He asked.

"Shapeshifters? Well not much aside that they can change their form, which can cause them to be a dangerous foe or valuable ally." What was this sudden question? Shapeshifters are interesting though, Aria had never met or heard of one in person. "Why? Is there something going on about them?"
