Sayuri nodded as Minato said he'd planned on it. Ryoji looked uncomfortable with the situation, and Honda just looked like he felt out of place. Sayuri turned away from them and kneeled down, putting her hand on Souji's shoulder.
"Souji-san, at least come inside if you need to rest..." Sayuri said. She was clearly concerned.
----------
"That's not true, K1-kun..." Yuugi said, sounding sad, "I mean... maybe not to the cause but he was to you. You shouldn't judge him so harshly..."
"It's probably for the best," Atem said, "I can't imagine what the demon realm is like, but I can make some guesses. I'd never expect a human to do well in a place like that."
Jounouchi frowned, "He still shouldn't talk about him like that..."
----------
Luckily for Atsuro, Adil was fluent in English. So he was able to figure out what he'd said. Atsuro hadn't done that bad, really. Adil looked up towards the sky at Atsuro's expression and gave a worried expression for a moment before looking back towards Atsuro and shaking his head.
* "I think they must have had some issues with a show, though. Weren't those the god cards in the sky? Well, two of them.... they sure blinked out quickly... Aside from that surprise, I'm fine. Did you know they were going to make that display?" *
----------
Seth would have preferred Naoki to say yes. He would have preferred it immensely, because self-doubt didn't seem... in character for him. He actually... didn't know? Seth turned away and hung his head, not even aware as his hands clenched into fists.
"I don't know how to fight this," he finally said, "I don't even know why its such an issue. I've lost friends before. I don't know how I'm supposed to reason with Abel. I can't even honestly say I don't want you dead because it's a waste to lose a potential ally anymore."
Seth lifted his head, and looked at Naoki with a rather angry expression, "Why should I have to choose between loyalty to Abel and life? We're on the same side!"

Souji gave a wince as Sayuri put a hand on his shoulder, and after a moment, he pulled his eyes open again. Minato tensed as Souji's eyes opened. They were still yellow, even though Souji had appeared to calm down before. Souji gave a pained smile as he looked up at Sayuri.
"When did you get back...?" Souji asked. There was still a bit of distortion in his voice, and Koromaru gave a growl that was quickly silenced by Minato. He tried to push himself up, but stopped halfway. "I'm not feeling too good... I think I overexerted myself before."
It wasn't just the exhaustion now. Souji actually looked physically sick. Minato had no clue what was wrong with him now. All he could help was that Igor had some answers.
----------------
At the sound of his human nickname, Abel twitched, and it would likely be very obvious to the others that the shorter teenager had hit a cord. He took a couple rather threatening steps toward Yuugi, and his eyes slitted as he stopped.
"Don't call me that. Never call me that," Abel snarled. "I am not the cowardly little human you once knew, and that name is no longer mine. I am Abel and nothing more, Yuugi."
Abel was almost begging for Atem to step forward and try to defend his stupid little boyfriend. He'd love to teach them a little lesson now. He wouldn't do anything to permanently harm him, but it would probably put him out for at least the rest of the day... not that Abel really cared.
-----------------
Atsuro blinked. Show? He hadn't heard anything about any show... and then he felt stupid. Right, Adil was a normal guy who didn't know anything about any of this. Of course he'd think it was awesome holograms. He shook his head.
* "Not know I about god cards.," * He paused several times to make sure he was pronouncing the words right. It was times like this he wished he'd actually paid better attention in English. * "Kaiba not paying full attention to workers maybe?" *
------------------
Naoki let Seth rant, but at the same time he couldn't help but feel guilty for a lot of reasons, some he didn't even know himself. Or didn't want to admit. He waited for Seth to finish before speaking.
"If Abel wasn't so obsessed with revenge, it's possible we could coexist. But the only human I can think that could convince Abel otherwise I killed myself," Naoki said quietly. He didn't voice his next thought. Seth could always take the option Kihara had, and run. But what good would that do? Where could Seth run anyways, but to another demon king's army?

Sayuri frowned and narrowed her eyes when she saw Souji's yellow eyes. A sign of a shadow... and his voice was off as well. Instead of saying anything about it, she kept a hand on his shoulder.
"You're a little sick, Souji-san. It would be best if you didn't head home. Can you walk? We should at least get you inside."
Ryoji had taken a step back at the yellow eyes and the continued distortion of voice. Honda had a grimace at the entire situation. This was rather over his head... and he'd seen things no one would ever believe. He remained quiet though.
----------
Yuugi looked worried at Abel's twitch, and he took a sudden step back as Abel advanced forward quickly. Atem's eyes widened and he took a quick step forward, his hand on Yuugi's shoulder and pulling the shorter teenager back from all but getting trampled by Abel. Jounouchi gave a death glare at Abel, and was probably about to move forward himself when Atem spoke to Abel with a voice that sounded like it didn't know the definition of humor.
"If this is how you treated Atsuro, then its no wonder he left you," Atem growled, "None of us have done anything against you or your court, stop acting like we're your enemy!"
----------
Adil gave a worried expression at Atsuro's words. His English was dropping. Although he did seem to be a little better at least. He gave a smile and a nod at Atsuro's attempt at an explanation.
* "Have you met Yuugi-kun again? His grandfather didn't seem to have seen him since he was pulled from his world." *
----------
Seth seemed angry with his response. For all his power as a demon, the best he could do was say it was useless? He looked away with a pained scowl and shook his head. Could Cain have convinced Abel to come off his high horse? If he could, couldn't he? Sure, he wasn't as agressive as Cain, but...
"I'll see what I can do tonight. I don't know how much he actually listens to me or how much of it is him waiting for me to make a mistake, but I can try," Seth said. He looked determined as he looked back at Naoki, "Cain won't be back for years, if that's what Abel needs I'll do it."
Seth was focused on Naoki at the moment, so he didn't hear the stick crack. Naoki, on the other hand, likely would. It was a few feet back and to the side of where the demi-fiend was standing. There were only bushes in that direction, so whatever had caused the crack was either an animal or quite short... Naoki would likely realize the latter given whoever it was still had its eyes on the group.

Souji put his arm on the tree to steady himself as he got to his feet. He was just sick? Had he been less disoriented and tired, he might have questioned that line of thought. His vision was swimming, and he was having a hard time concentrating on any one line of thought.
"I can walk," Souji said. He took a step away from the tree, and though he grabbed Sayuri's shoulder for support initially, he managed to get himself steady enough to walk. "You're going to have to lead the way, I don't know how to get there."
He felt a thought come up, and closed his eyes in an effort to concentrate of that. It would be best if he didn't head home... He reached into his pockets and pulled out a single key on a Chill Out Coffee keychain, which he handed to Minato.
"I can't remember if Teddie brought his house key or not... I told him to, but he's always so forgetful," Souji said. "Hang on to this for me in case he did forget and I'm too sick to come home tonight... okay?"
Minato took the keys and put them in his own pocket. Even now, Souji was remembering to put someone else over himself. And not only that, but something didn't quite seem right about this... though what about this situation did?
-----------------------
Despite his previous thoughts, Abel didn't attack Atem at those words. Because Atem had attacked him for possibly treating Atsuro like that. His expression became angrier, but oddly enough, the slitted pupils returned back to their human appearance.
"Two members of my court have been killed in the past month, and the killer, who may I add, is supposedly on the same side as my court, continues to humiliate whatever honor I had left before he killed my court members," Abel snarled. "No one's my ally anymore."
There were a thousand things he wanted to yell at Atem, how he hadn't wanted to drive Atsuro off; how even now with his rejection of his human side, it pained him the kind of things he did; but he couldn't drop face and scream them at Atem and retain any sort of dignity.
-------------------
Atsuro shook his head at Adil's question. He looked confused at the mention of Yuugi's grandfather. When had Yuugi's Grandpa shown up? And why had no one told him about that? Oh right, because he'd been off being suicidal and depressive on the other end of the shrine before Abel showed up. Both Abels, if Ammy and Issun were to be believed. Dammit.
* "No, thought you tell me where Yuugi. Yuugi grandfather is here?" *
------------------
Naoki said nothing in response. In fact, he'd been fine with leaving the conversation there if he hadn't heard a stick crack behind him. He wheeled around, and narrowed his eyes before beginning to walk over to the bushes like he hadn't even heard Seth say anything.
Without looking behind the bushes, he said, "Whoever you are, it would be best to show yourself now."

Sayuri's eyes widened and she braced herself in time for Souji to support himself on her shoulder. She gave a firm look towards Minato, as if to remind him of what she'd said without saying it. She gave a nod and small smile as Souji told her to lead the way. She was turning to go when Souji paused again, and she gave a worried frown as he handed the keys to Minato.
"Alright, Souji-san, let's go. No need for you to pass out on the grounds, right?"
----------
"That's your own fault," Atem said. He was still glaring, and had an arm out in front of Yuugi. The shorter teenager was looking down at it with a startled surprise, "You're so convinced no one's on your side you keep pushing them away! Atsuro saw you as a friend, not a king!"
"Atem, calm down!" Yuugi finally said. He grabbed Atem's wrist and pushed the Egyptian teenager's arm off his chest. Atem looked at him with surprise and a bit of worry as Yuugi stepped forth, "K... Abel-kun, I realize you did what you had to do! I realize you think you still are! But we're on your side!"
----------
Adil looked confused at Atsuro's response, and paused for a moment, sort of looking up. After a moment he shook his head and looked back towards Atsuro, giving a nod.
* "I thought you knew about his grandfather. I didn't mean to confuse you. I'm not sure where they're at now... Anzu-chan took Yuugi-kun's grandfather to see him. Sorry I couldn't help more." *
----------
"I would have expected something a little more violent," said a young voice.
A boy not even into his pre-teen years stepped from outside the bushes. He had rather short black hair and a rather muscular tone for his age, which really looked to be about eight. He was dressed in a navy shirt with mid-length sleeves and black pants, and he was wearing black tennis-shoes. What made him downright creepy was his black eyes... there was age far beyond his physical age present in them.
"Guess you're not as untamed as I thought, eh?" the boy said to Naoki.
Seth's eyes were wide at the unfamiliar boy's attitude, "H-hey, don't talk to your elders like that!"
The boy gave Seth an unamused look at the comment... that quickly faded into a smirk.

Souji nodded, and he started walking along with Sayuri away from the group. He looked toward her as he walked, and for a moment, the memory of who Sayuri was escaped him. He put a hand on his head as he walked. He felt dizzy.
Minato waited for Souji and Sayuri to get a fair distance away before speaking. He turned toward Ryoji. "I feel like a dumbass for not seeing this before. I'm going to go back and check out that honden. If I'm right..." He held up his Velvet Room key. "I've had the key to figuring all this out the whole time."
----------------
Abel returned Atem's glare. Did he think he did not know that? It was for that reason why Atsuro couldn't stay. He couldn't remain Atsuro's friend, not with this war. He was already beginning to take steps forward again when Yuugi spoke up.
"The last man to tell me that killed my brother," Abel snarled. He looked Yuugi in the eye... and suddenly he couldn't make himself do the one thing he wanted to do to Atem. He had been about to attack Atem and absorb his Magatsuhi. It wouldn't kill him, there was no need to kill him, but it would get a message across to the others.
His expression slightly softened, and he looked the most... human he had the whole encounter. "You don't know anything about my situation. I lead an army, Yuugi. An army that has long lost its respect of me. Acting human has done nothing but lower that respect. You told me once I was both human and demon... but you know what? I couldn't do that. It drove me insane, Yuugi. I was losing my mind, and all everyone wanted to teach me to be less of a cowardly human and just give up my humanity."
There was a flash of light, and suddenly the Abel that was standing before them looked very different. His eyes were slitted and there were horns on his head. Due to his outfit, only the markings on his face and hands were visible, but they were shining brightly.
"I don't think I can call myself human anymore looking like this."
----------------------
* "It alright," * Atsuro said. He got a bit of a grin on his face as he spoke up again. * "You should not walk around shrine by self. It make look desperate." * He mimicked Adil's voice as he said that.
---------------------
Naoki frowned. So it was a child, and a rather creepy looking child at that. He was reminded a bit of the young child who had eventually turned out to be Lucifer. The boy's dialogue was a bit familiar as well... He turned back toward Seth, and then what it was hit him. He looked back toward the child and smiled.
"It's okay, Seth, he doesn't mean any harm," Naoki said in a voice that didn't really sound like him. "Though you shouldn't listen in on other people's private conversations. You might get into trouble."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a wallet, pulling out a couple coins before managing to drop the whole thing and spill them. He swore to himself before looking rather guilty, most likely for saying a swear word in front of a child. Instead he held the coins out to him.
"I'll pick them up later, don't worry about it," Naoki said, waving it off. He held the two coins out to the boy. "How about you go play a couple games at the arcade? I'm sure they've got one set up here."

Ryoji had a somber frown as Minato looked at him, but he gave a nod. He still didn't quite understand the situation, but he hadn't thought leaving the honden was the right choice to begin with. Honda was scratching the back of his head at the interaction betwen the two, although he'd been watching Souji and Sayuri walk off.
"Uh... should I take Koromaru to find the others then?" Honda asked.
----------
Yuugi lowered his guard as Abel's expression softened. He gave a pained smile. Atem's own glare softened at Yuugi's reaction to Abel. If Yuugi thought the tension was past... Jounouchi had an awkward frown. Well now he felt kind of bad... and then Abel began to speak. Jounouchi looked mildly impressed, and looked towards Yuugi. Because he was coming up empty for a response to that. Atem's expression became less aggressive. A king needed to be respected by his people, and it didn't seem like that had been handed to Abel with his title... and then Abel shifted.
Jounouchi practically flew back several feet in surprise, practically tripping over his own feet and preventing landing on his bottom thanks to a tree he smacked against. Atem tensed up, but didn't move. He looked more like a Ka at the moment, and... considering he was a demon.. Yuugi's eyes widened and it was evident he fought the urge to step back. This was what Atsuro had meant?!
"Y-you're still... I mean, you still have your memories though, right?" Yuugi finally said, "You're still talking to me like K1, Abel-kun. You're right, maybe I don't understand it. Maybe I can't. I'm not telling you to take Atsuro-kun back, either! I just... do demons have to be evil? You're not... there's a difference between darkness and evil!"
----------
Adil gave a mock frown at Atsuro for his returned jab. It was clear he was teasing him back in regards to the reused comment. He walked forward and past Atsuro, before pausing to look back at the other black haired teen, * "Well then, we should both solve that, right? Yuugi-kun tends to keep himself in a pretty large group, so it shouldn't be too hard to find them if we look for them. Maybe your dog can use her nose?" *
----------
Okay, damn, the kid was unsettling enough without replying to his scolding with a smirk. He was about to move forward and guide him back to the Shrine when Naoki gave an unexpected response... in an odd voice. Seth blinked and looked at the other apparent teenager as he gave a gentle scolding to the kid.
The child gave a chuckle at Naoki's scolding. He'd expected better from him... and then Naoki pulled out a wallet and dropped it on the ground. The child took a quick step back and had a rather aggressive posture. Seth noted a glint of silver in his hand that seemed to vanish as soon as Naoki's expression changed to one of guilt. Had he imagined it...?
The boy looked down at the coins in Naoki's hand as he told him to go off to play. He gave a dull frown for a moment before looking up at Naoki with a sickeningly cute and completely false innocent expression.
"I'm gonna tell on you to my little brother!" the child shouted.
Seth's eyes widened... no way, it was impossible, but..., "Wait, did you say little brother?!"

Minato nodded. "Yeah, that'd be best. You should probably tell Yuugi-tachi all about what happened too."
Koromaru gave a whine, but he didn't object too much, and walked over toward Honda and Ryoji. Minato nodded toward the dog before heading back off in the direction of the honden, keys in hand.
---------------------
Abel saw the collective surprise in reaction to his true form, but his expression remained flat. He'd known Jounouchi would react the worst; the man seemed rather... jumpy. He looked back down at Yuugi as he started speaking again. He scowled. He'd already gotten this speech before. The different between now and then was then he'd been begging for Yuugi to forgive him.
"...Good and evil are only a matter of perspective," Abel said. "There are definitely those who see me as evil for what I'm doing, and there are those who worship me for it as well. And my memories... they're slipping with every day. It's only because Seth continues to remind me of them that I can remember I was once the human named Kimura Keiichi."
Abel made a decision at that moment not to tell Yuugi how he had treated Seth since Atsuro's departure.
-----------------------
Amaterasu gave a bark as Adil pointed her out again. Atsuro sweatdropped. * "She not my dog." *
At that point Issun decided to climb out of Amaterasu's fur. "I'm sure Ammy would have no problem leadin' you guys to the others. Oh yeah, my name's Issun! Nice to meet ya!"
Which would have been nice if, y'know... Issun was speaking English instead of really archaic Japanese. Instead Adil would get treated to a weird talking green bug climbing out from Amaterasu's fur and possibly freaking out.
-----------------
At the little boy's threat, Naoki's eyes widened and he paled. One would think this was from fear, and if you were referring to the facade he was currently putting up, you would be right. Naoki looked pretty panicked right now. He started waving his hands back and forth.
"H-Hey, come on, don't tell your little bro..." Naoki said. "I know your brother doesn't like me much, especially when I'm hanging out with Seth, but really, we're not doing anything bad. Really!"
He bent down and looked the boy in the face. "Come on... can't we keep this between you and me? Pretty please?" He held his hands up in front of his face in a "prayer" position and had a nervous grin on his face.

Ryoji looked confused as Minato walked off, and realized that the blue haired teenager intended on going on his own. He frowned, but didn't say anything. Honda looked over to him and gave a different sort of frown. If this was what he was like all the time, school (he had gone to school, right?) must have been hell for him. It wasn't like Honda knew what he'd acted like there. He straightened up and put out a large sigh.
"So, you two ready to find Yuugi then? I think that guy's got things covered."
----------
"Who are you trying to convince?" Yuugi said with a determined yet worried frown. Atem blinked and looked towards Yuugi, "Right now it sounds like you're trying to convince yourself by convincing us. I still consider you a friend, Abel-kun... and it doesn't matter why you remember us, but you do. And you obviously think of us as friends. You came to warn us!"
Jounouchi wasn't really contributing. He had calmed down a little bit after Abel had spoken, but he still seemed nervous. Even with everything he'd been through, the supernatural had never been his thing.
----------
Adil gave a smile towards Atsuro at his comment. She may not have been his dog, but she was clearly protecting him. He opened his mouth to say something to that direction when Issun jumped out and began speaking complete gibberish. Adil turned and looked at the green but sticking its head out of Amaterasu's fur and blinked.
* "Uh...." * Adil looked towards Atsuro and pointed at the "bug" in confusion. It was a fairly calm reaction, but one had to remember Adil had been on the Island for at least a little bit.
----------
Seth's realization faded more to... well, disbelief really, as Naoki continued the facade that was being put forth. Seth could tell Naoki was faking it if only for how over the top he was being with it. If his suspicions were right, not only did the "little boy" already know what Naoki was, he would have abandoned any notion otherwise at Naoki's reaction. But that didn't explain why he was so old...
The little boy frowned at Naoki's continued facade, and really it just looked like a grumpy little child. He hadn't lost the less aged look in his eyes he'd put up once he'd informed Naoki he was gonna tell on him. He crossed his arms and scowled for a moment before deepening his glare and kicking Naoki in the left shin, just above his ankle as he shouted at him.
"Stop acting like such a wimp!" he scolded.
Seth was moving forward without thought. Really, had he put half an ounce of thought into it, he wouldn't have even tried. If Naoki was going to react to that, Seth wouldn't have stood a chance of reaching the kid. As it were, he was able to reach the kid and yank him by the wrist so that he was in front of him.
Seth's back was to Naoki, the kid wrapped in his arms at his front, and he was turning his head to tell Naoki that things weren't what they seemed... when his brain finally caught up with his reflexes and he realized if Naoki had intended on reacting, the kid would have been dead before he'd taken a single step forward.
"There are more efficient ways to kill me than suffocation..." the kid mumbled into Seth's lower chest given how Seth was pretty much shielding him. Seth didn't hear it, as he was staring at Naoki.
"You... knew, didn't you?" Seth said to Naoki. His tone indicated he felt like a complete idiot for not realizing it sooner.

Minato made it to the honden quickly enough. He didn't bother looking around to see if anyone was watching; all anyone would see was him staring at the door anyways. He very quickly climbed the steps and walked up to the lock before inserting his Velvet Key into it. He gave a pained smile as the lock clicked open. That was what he'd thought.
With a push, the door swung open to reveal a room full of blue light, and he stepped in.
------------------
Abel looked away as Yuugi said that. Those... hadn't been his original intentions. His original intentions had been to play with them a bit. But he'd changed his mind after seeing Yuugi. Just like how he'd changed his mind about sucking Atem dry.
"I can't say I argue with that line of thought," Abel said. "I probably am just trying to convince myself. But I can't keep this up." He looked pained. "Too many people have died because I'm a coward."
------------------
Atsuro looked confused for a moment at Adil's own confusion, but after looking back at the bug, he understood. * "O-Oh! That is Issun. He friend of Ammy. He only speak Japanese." *
"...Hey, Atsuro, are we gonna go or not?" Issun yelled.
"...oh, sure, lead the way," Atsuro said. Issun dropped back down into Amaterasu's fur as the wolf began to walk again.
-----------------
Naoki hadn't really expected to get kicked in the shin. In retrospect, he should have expected it, considering who this was. He reached down to grab his shin after the little boy kicked it. While he massaged his bruised shin (it wasn't really bruised, but it would definitely look that way), Seth jumped to the wrong conclusion and pulled the boy close to him. By the time Naoki straightened up, Seth had made the connection. Naoki dropped the facade he'd held as Seth spoke.
"I thought it was obvious," Naoki said. He looked down at the boy. "Though I'm quite curious as to how you got here... and why you're so old."

There would be... well, a vision for lack of a better word wash over Minato's view before the more familiar Velvet Room appeared. At least the one he knew from the Island. It was the wooden inside of a room. At initial thought it would seem like the same wooden room that had been there a while back when Souji had kicked in the door.
However, it wouldn't take him long to realize that rather than a mirror at the back, there was a mask. White with the vague shape of a butterfly over one eye, frayed and blue. It certainly didn't match any masks Minato would know. The floor had a stylized butterfly shape over the bottom of it... at one point it may have been blue, but it looked in rather bad need of repainting. In fact, the whole building seemed rather run down... and then it would be gone, and Minato would be sitting in the seat he'd only sat in once before on this Island.
Igor was sitting in his usual chair, his long legs up. Minato would probably catch half a second of a raised eyebrow before the long nosed figure unclasped his hands and spread them wide. Minato would likely also be aware that the attendant wasn't the one he'd seen before... or even female, for that matter.
"Well, this is a surprise. I believe it has been quite some time in your world since you've visited? Have you finally found the need for our services once again?" Igor asked.
----------
Yuugi stepped towards Abel, causing both Atem and Jounouchi to tense up. He reached his arms up and put them on Abel's shoulders, giving a pained but encouraging smile.
"You don't have to be a demon or a killer to be strong, Abel-kun..."
----------
Adil didn't really understand what "Issun" was, but he found himself just nodding. The situation still didn't seem dangerous, and aside from Atsuro's continued self doubt things seemed fine enough. He sped up to come up beside Atsuro as Amaterasu lead the way.
----------
The boy stood there in Seth's arms for a little bit longer before finally pushing the taller teenager off of him. He looked back at Naoki for a moment before looking up at Seth. Seth looked back down at him with confusion. Cain seemed to be considering something... and then he smirked. Whatever he'd figured out, he had no intentions of sharing it. He looked back at Naoki.
"If that little conversation between you two was any indication, I don't think the answer is any of your business, Hitoshura. It is interesting to see both of you alive, though."
Seth reached out and grabbed the boy's wrist. There was an actual expression of surprise on his face. The boy had tried to sidestep with the fluidity of a warrior, but Seth had actually predicted the movement and in a show of battle prowress Naoki would have never seen Seth display, he had the boy's arms both twisted behind his back a few seconds and feints later. He leaned over so that he could look the boy in the eyes, a feat granted by the height difference.
"You are not yanking me around any more Cain! What are you doing back so soon and at this age?!"
"Don't think you can't die, Seth," Cain growled back in response.
The surprised anger lasted only for a moment, and then he was smirking. As for Seth's part, the previous comment had clearly caught him off guard, his grip had loosened but Cain didn't seem inclined to move. Naoki's own skill in battle would make it clear that if Cain had wanted to, he could have yanked free as soon as Seth had reacted to Cain's threat. Instead, the child continued.
"Do you realize what it would look like if I made a fuss? To most people, it would look like you're assaulting a child..."

Minato didn't have time to contemplate the vision that had just appeared before he appeared in the Velvet Room. For a moment he looked confused, but he decided he could add that to his list of questions. Sitting across the table from him was the ever-present Igor and an attendant Minato had never seen before.
"Yeah, I couldn't find the door," Minato said. He put his hands in his pockets. "I've got a few questions I hope you can answer. But first and foremost... who's this guy?"
He motioned toward the male attendant standing next to Igor. The attendant blinked and gave a chuckle.
"My name is Theodore," the man said. "I am pleased to meet you."
Minato decided now was not the time to ask too much about this man and turned toward Igor again. "...Igor, one of my friends is dying. I don't know what all's wrong with him, but it started around the time he lost the ability to summon a Persona. Do you know anything about this?"

Abel tensed as well when Yuugi reached up and put his hands on his shoulders. He looked away at Yuugi's words.
"I know that... I should know that," Abel said. "...but what should I do, Yuugi? I don't know what else to do anymore."
-------------------
As it turned out, Amaterasu didn't lead them toward Yuugi for one simple reason: Abel. Abel was still there. Abel was with Yuugi. Atsuro did not need to be with Abel. Kid was in bad enough shape as it was.
So instead, she led him toward who was probably the most harmless member of their group: Teddie. Who seemed to be kind of lost.
"Hey, Teddie!" Atsuro called to the blond. "What are you doing all the way out here?"
--------------------
Naoki narrowed his eyes as Cain made his point. He already didn't like the man much, and he had to make that point. He turned toward Seth. "He's right. You already look suspicious enough with the position you're in, Seth. Best release him before he decides to start screaming."
He glared at the boy. "Your king's at this festival too. Why come spy on us?"

Igor didn't lose his everpresent and annoying smile at Minato's question. His fingers lifted up and hit back down upon each other again for a moment. A long enough moment that Minato may have been wondering if he was going to get an answer. It was right before Minato would be about to speak again that Igor finally responded.
"You're already aware that Personas are embodiments of the masks one wears to face life," Igor stated, "But those masks are not invincible. And when one refuses to wear but one..."
----------
Yuugi bit his lip at Abel's question. He was putting up a good front here, but he really didn't know what could be done either. He didn't know the full situation, as Abel had a tendency to point out. And Abel had said he couldn't be two people at once...
"Only use your power when necessary...?" Yuugi said, sounding about as unconfident as possible.
----------
Teddie was looking around when Atsuro shouted his name. The blond jumped and looked towards Atsuro with a surprised expression before running up to him. He noticed Adil and blinked, and the Egyptian lifted his hand in a wave. Teddie turned towards Atsuro.
"Have you seen Sensei, Atsuro-kun? Yuugi-kun told me to find him, but..."
----------
Seth opened his mouth to object. Cain would have to take time to scream, right? Couldn't they do something about it before then? But if Naoki was going to tell him to release him rather than help... he frowned and took his hands off Cain's wrists. The boy chuckled to himself and stepped away from Seth. He looked back at Naoki as he asked his question.
"Infinite worlds, Hitoshura," Cain responded with a smirk. Seth looked confused. Had that been an answer...?

Igor had taken his sweet time to answer, and still Minato had no answers. Just a cryptic comment that made him wonder more. A mask that someone had refused to wear? Had Souji rejected part of himself...?
"What do you mean?"
----------------
Abel scoffed. So Yuugi really didn't have any answers for him. "Doing that doesn't do me any good. I'm trying to not look like a coward, Yuugi."
----------------
Atsuro blinked and shook his head. He hadn't seen Souji since they'd split up that morning, and it had been a couple hours. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen Naoto and Kanji either... well, as long as they were avoiding the mess as usual.
"Nah, I haven't seen him lately, sorry," Atsuro said. He raised an eyebrow. "How come? Is something up?"
--------------
Naoki narrowed his eyes further at Cain's response. Oh yes, that answered his question all too well. "How on earth did you end up in another world, Cain? Your soul should have returned to your homeworld upon your death."

"I am here to provide aid via Fusion and awakening of Persona," Igor said, "The task of finding the answers belongs to you. But time is running short..."
----------
"What does using your power when you need to have to do with looking like a coward?" Yuugi asked, "If you need to show your power more to get respect, then do it. I'm just saying that you don't have to run away from people that care about you!"
----------
Teddie frowned, "Didn't you see the god cards in the sky? Yuugi-kun-tachi think that something might be wrong with Sensei!"
Adil looked at Atsuro with a fairly lost expression. He couldn't speak a word of Japanese, so Teddie really was spouting gibberish as far as he was concerned. The blond was worried about something, though...
----------
Seth blinked, "Wait, he ended up in another world?"
Cain ignored Seth, instead choosing to fix a flat glare on Hitoshura, "I would think the answer would be obvious. I'm not the master of my curse, after all."
