Minato was rather glad Honda didn't question what he'd said too much. He really didn't want to have to explain everything that had happened in regards to that, particularly his taking of the seal. He looked away as Honda asked his question.
"I don't know," Minato said. "I can't even think of why this is happening to Souji. He doesn't even have a soul to lose like I did."
----------------------
Atsuro turned toward Pegasus as the man began to leave, but didn't say anything. He didn't think he wanted to be with Pegasus much longer. He continued to pet the wolf until Issun lept up out of Amaterasu's fur and to Amaterasu's head.
"Man, you're more trouble than you're worth," Issun said. "But don't worry, we took care of that Abel guy for now. Well, actually, we didn't do nothin'. Another guy who looked just like him appeared and chased him off."
Atsuro paled and stopped mid-pet. "Wh-What...?"
--------------------
Abel didn't seem phased too much by the group, but his eyes were more human now than they were before. He didn't allow any expression to cross his face as he looked down at Yuugi.
"I'm fine. The situation has been handled. The gods in the sky were only the foolish overreactions of a few gods taking human form over one of God's servants," Abel said. He allowed his gaze to flick toward Atem for a moment, and just a moment, before turning back toward Yuugi. "So Atsuro ended up running off to live with you, didn't he?"

Honda frowned. All this gibberish about souls and afterlife and whatever made his head hurt. Seemed like an overcomplicated way to mess with an already confusing situation far as he was concerned. He let out a sigh as he considered what Jounouchi would do. Aside from flip out. Jounouchi had always had the better social skills of the two of them. He gave a sideways glance to Minato.
"We should tell the others. And pursue any ideas you might have," Honda said. He looked at Souji, who was miraculously staying on his feet while still being asleep, "And prevent him from flipping out more, if that's at all possible. Does he know...?"
----------
Atem noticed the flick, but he really wasn't sure what to make of it. Mere notice, a sign of something more? He couldn't read Abel these days, and it greatly bothered him. He crossed his arms and continued to watch, Yuugi seemed to have the situation under control and Abel didn't appear ready to lash out at any moment.
Yuugi gave a nervous expression at Abel's words. Well, they'd met Obelisk but not Osiris. So that meant he'd finally shown up. He looked towards Atem for a moment, "Did you want to meet Osiris? He can probably speak Ancient Egyptian too, given the others."
"Would it kill these people to learn a little Japanese?" Jounouchi said with a frown, "Especially if they're gonna crash a Shinto festival!"
"If they want to talk to me they'll find me themselves," Atem said. He looked back towards Abel, "Atsuro didn't run off, and if you're his friend you should know that."
Yuugi gave a nervous chuckle, "I'm sure he was exaggerating... K1-kun, do you mean a demon showed up?"
----------
"What's wrong with him...?"
Honda jumped in surprise as Sayuri walked back into the area, walking over to Souji. She hovered over him for a moment before giving Minato a rather critical look, masked somewhat by her worry, "Do you know?"
Ryoji and Honda exchanged a glance at her question, seemingly both inclined to let Minato answer. Really, he did know the most about it.
----------
Seth had sat down on a bench and lain his head against the back of it. He closed his eyes as he looked at the sky (it was clear, but the light wasn't hurting his eyes). He wasn't asleep, he wouldn't let that kind of guard drop happen, but he did look it. Even his breathing had become regular. And while he wasn't smiling... at least he wasn't frowning, either.

Minato didn't respond to Honda. He knew he had to tell the others, especially with how much Souji's condition had deteriorated just in the past day. He was turning toward Honda to finally answer him when Sayuri spoke up. Minato jumped rather badly and turned toward the goddess as she walked over to Souji, who was still asleep and standing up. It probably helped that he was leaning against a tree, but that was some feat.
Minato looked down and away from Sayuri as her attention turned toward him. "I've... got some ideas. Izanami, I think he's dying. Or even worse... already dead."
-----------------------
Issun tilted his head. It took him a moment to figure out what Atsuro's problem was, and when he did finally figure it out, he looked rather guilty.
"Oh... oh crap, that was that Abel guy you used to work for, wasn't it?!"
Atsuro didn't respond. He fell back onto a pile of leaves. He didn't seem to notice. Amaterasu gave a whine and curled up next to Atsuro as a protective gesture. The wolf didn't say anything, only staying close to Atsuro. Issun wasn't quite as mute as Amaterasu, and lept up onto Atsuro's shoulder.
"Uh... hey, it's gonna be fine. I don't think that Abel guy was here for you, so.. don't worry, okay?" Somehow Issun got the feeling he was missing the point a bit.
-----------------------
Abel did not respond to Atem's statement. Just because he'd let him go didn't mean that Atsuro still hadn't run away from the court. Abel gave a slight scowl as Yuugi asked if it had been a demon.
"I mean a demon," he hesitated for a very slight moment. "It was another Abel, and one that works for YHVH. He was there to kill Atsuro."
-----------------
Shortly after Seth closed his eyes, another figure sat down on the bench next to him. Naoki said nothing, not wanting to disturb the human man. This was the first time he'd seen Seth look truly peaceful out of any of their very few meetings, after all.

Izanami frowned at Minato. He wasn't dead, and if he was dying the shinigami weren't doing there job. They were present when anything died or was near death, be it human or avatar. Honda shifted his weight awkwardly and Ryoji looked a little panicked as Minato mentioned Souji may already be dead.
"He isn't dead yet, and if he's dying his aura is all wrong... its weak, but not..." she shook her head. It would be pointless to explain to mortals. She looked Minato in the eyes, "Start talking."
----------
Yuugi and Atem exchanged glances. Another... Abel? Jounouchi just looked confused at that, aware it was a potentially bad thing simply due to Atem and Yuugi's expression. Atem crossed his arm, seeming to be in thought. Yuugi pretty much voiced what he was thinking.
"That... you mean one that chose to become the Messiah? Two of the same... well... can show up here? And why would he come just to kill Atsuro-kun! That doesn't make sense!"
----------
Seth had felt the weight on the bench shift, but hadn't bothered moving. If there was anything he had to worry about invading the Shrine, he'd be well aware of it. And if it was some lunatic? The worst they'd do is stab him, which he'd recover from. How fast he'd developed a complacency over deadly situations... well, whoever it was didn't seem to be moving, so he supposed they were just sitting there. Ignoring it lasted maybe a minute before a voice in the back of Seth's mind warned him how foolish he was being. His peaceful expression faded and he sat up, turning to the left...
...And pretty much flew off his seat. There was an expression in his eyes that indicted Naoki was pretty much the last person in the entire world (multiverse?) that Seth wanted to see. While he already had his hands on the COMP, Naoki's own speed meant he'd probably get a chance to do something (even if it was just react to the unusual reaction) before Seth could get anything done.

Minato sighed. Was he really going to have the explain this again? It was already bad enough he was having to deal with a friend quite likely dying.
"If what you're saying is right, then I don't think what I know will really apply. But this tiredness Souji has is a lot like the tiredness I had after I sealed Nyx," Minato said. "But I really don't think it's the same deal... Souji's an avatar, he wouldn't have a soul would he? Plus, I have no idea what would even cause this to happen to him. It's been quiet this whole week; nothing that would cause him to die."
---------------------
"I don't know," Abel said, crossing his arms as he said so. "I don't think he was here for Atsuro. I think he was here for some other reason, though what would send YHVH's little pet dog here is beyond me. I know that by the time I got here, he'd decided he was going to kill every god in this shrine."
He uncrossed his arms. "Considering he went after all of the gods in this shrine and Atsuro, I wouldn't make it took large of a stretch to attack you just for associating yourself with Atsuro... or for that hunk of gold around your neck." He motioned to the Pendant as he said that.
----------------------
Naoki had expected Seth's reaction. After all, he highly doubted he was the first person Seth wanted to see. However, it didn't stop Naoki from looking rather hurt as Seth jumped to his feet and pulled away. He reached out and grabbed Seth's arm before he would have a chance to fully pull his COMP from his pocket.
"Do not react rashly, Prince of Bel," Naoki said. "Unlike some demons, I have the decency to not attack at a festival. I won't attack you today."
He removed his hand from Seth's arm and leaned back down into the bench. He seemed to be waiting for Seth to do something before making his next move.

Izanami frowned at Minato's response. She looked back at Souji with concern. An avatar required a base amount of power to maintain. It wasn't so much that they weren't alive that the god functioned as a soul to the body. Which... in a way could prevent a death. Like a coma could develop, the body lived while the soul had already passed. She looked at Minato again.
"Do you know of anything... unusual lately?" she asked. Her eyes flicked in direction of the honden. There had always been something here... a gate for lack of a better term, she supposed. She looked at Minato, "There are places I can't go. I'm not human. Is there anything you can do?"
----------
Yuugi looked down at the Puzzle as Abel indicated it. He'd almost forgotten about their connection to Zorc... could the other Abel be here in relation to that? Atem put his own hand on his chest, and Abel's own senses probably made itclear he had the Ring hidden under his shirt.
"Would... do you think Zorc would be enough to get his attention?" Yuugi asked, "With the Items here, it would mean he's effected two realities, right?"
"Uh, question..." Jounouchi said, causing Atem and Yuugi to turn to him, "I'm not expert on religion and all that, but if someone like this YHVH dude wants someone dead, shouldn't we just... you know?"
Atem shook his head, speaking before Abel could, "You're likely more familiar with more modern stories. The Hebrew slaves in Ancient Egypt worshipped a different sort, and He doesn't react well when people don't follow Him... at least from what I understand of their stories."
----------
Seth locked up as Naoki grabbed his arm. That speed was why he was going to be dead... at best. He looked towards the seeming human with fright in his eyes, but seemed surprised as Naoki let him go, leaning back. Seth hesitated at that action, his hand remaining around the COMP... and in his pocket.
"But you'd defend yourself," Seth said, speaking deliberately. He seemed to have calmed down a little bit at least. He shook his head, "His Majesty ordered me to attack you if I saw you again... You told me to remember he's a demon, but so are you."

Minato blinked. Anything unusual? In fact, there was one thing he could think of that had been unusual recently. He'd seen it twice in the past week, after all. He frowned as Izanami mentioned places she couldn't go. She'd looked toward the honden as she'd said that... so did she mean something about that?
"There might be a clue in the Velvet Room, but when I tried to find an entrance to it, Koromaru just lead me and Ryoji to that honden," Minato said. "And... this blue butterfly landed on the lock. I left after that because I got a bad feeling, but..."
He reached into his jacket and pulled out a glowing blue key. It felt warm in his hand, and for some reason, it almost felt like it was pulling him toward the honden.
----------------------
Abel gave a serious nod as Atem explained the YHVH Abel had known to Jounouchi. He turned toward Yuugi. "As for your question... I don't think so. After all, he didn't sense the ones I had on me."
He reached into his jacket and slightly pulled out the Millennium Torque just enough that the others could see. He frowned and crossed his arms again. "But if he did get a lock on Zorc's power, he would sense that it was demon related, and YHVH believes that using a demon's power for even the smallest things is grounds for damnation."
------------------------
Naoki's expression did not change as Seth pointed out that he too was a demon. He put his hands in his jacket pockets and sat up a bit.
"Your king's a fool for continuing to keep this revenge mission going," Naoki said. He sighed. "Demon kings are always far too prideful for my tastes... There's really no use in attacking me in the middle of a festival, with all of these innocents around, so I would recommend that you calm down a bit."

Sayuri gave Minato an odd expression at his mention of the Velvet Room. She didn't know of anything called that. However, she did know about a blue butterfly. After all, hadn't one constantly hung around the TV World after Souji had arrived? ...and before he'd awakened, he'd used multiple Persona, just as Minato could.
"I asked Souji-san this once, and now I'm asking you. Does the name Philemon mean anything to you?"
Honda and Ryoji exchanged a glance. Philemon? It was clear neither of them knew that. Ryoji had noticed when Sayuri had keyed into Minato's words, though, "Does this have to do with that butterfly...?"
----------
"That doesn't answer why he sent someone here, then," Atem said. He had a bit of unshown respect towards Abel for taking the Items with him. If Zorc had awakened somehow and was after them... they were safer with Abel then they would be in many places. He looked up at Abel, "And if he didn't attack you, that implies you aren't why he's here."
Yuugi frowned and looked at Abel, "Is there something you're dealing with that might have caused it? I don't think I've ever seen a god show up here for no reason at all..."
----------
Seth's reaction became softer at Naoki's words. Abel was a fool for continuing to try and exact revenge. He'd blamed it on being a Bel demon, was it that simple after all? Seth looked towards the main area of the shrine and the crowds and pulled his hand out of his pocket. If Naoki broke his word, better him than everyone here. He looked back at Naoki.
"I agree, and I've tried to tell him that. It... could have gone worse," Seth said. He hesitated for a moment before walking back to the bench and sitting down. He put his hands between his legs and looked down as he leaned forward, "He'll know I spoke to you."
"Then again, I suppose this gives me a chance to try to save my own ass," Seth looked at Naoki, "I know I'll be lucky to end up dead if I have to fight you. I'm not deluding myself about that in the least. But Abel ordered me to try and kill you next time I saw you. I think he thinks you're trying to manipulate me. He outright called me gullible over trying to convince him its a waste to kill you."
"The thing is, I thought about that myself. And... I don't think you are. It would be a perfectly valid tactic, especially given Abel's past reactions to his Court... and especially myself... being used against him," Seth frowned, "In fact... I'm not sure why you're not. Don't mistake this as me being ungrateful, but why aren't you? Maybe I'm misjudging a demon, but you've seemed sincere in everything you've done and said in relation to me. There has to be a reason."
Seth wasn't saying it, but he really was the opposite of ungrateful. He'd bonded with a demon before, but... Nirad had been acting out of pity and fear, hadn't he? Looking back, he knew he'd annoyed the Garuda with his attitude then. Well earned annoyance, to be honest. This was different, more honest, and Seth was grateful.
It was a strange feeling, but he was pretty sure he could tell this demon anything. It couldn't shock him (Seth didn't even want to imagine what he'd been through, especially having once been human... and having to kill his friends) and it wouldn't get back to Abel. Even if Abel could be convinced to ally with him... it wouldn't get back to Abel. Even in the literal hell he had chosen to remain in, he had a confidant. What were the odds?
Still... there had to be reason. At the end of the day, he was a demon.

Minato raised an eyebrow. He'd never heard the name Philemon before. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to know it, but she'd asked Souji the same question, so Izanami obviously thought he'd know.
"...I've never heard that name before myself," Minato said. "Why? Is Philemon important?"
----------------
Abel looked toward Yuugi and actually gave a grimace. "Lately I have been searching for Cain and Kaido's killer, a demon calling itself Hitoshura." He figured it was no use hiding that fact; Atsuro likely told them all about him upon running away to Yuugi. "Hitoshura works for Lucifer, and is easily one of the strongest demons I've faced. It's possible YHVH's pet came looking for Hitoshura after he came here."
Was that it? It seemed there was too large of a time gap for that to be the case. It had been over a week, after all. If that wasn't the case, though, Abel had no idea what was.
----------------------
Naoki remained silent as Seth spoke on. Naoki had never been much of a talker, so he was grateful at least one of them was talking. His expression slightly softened as Seth spoke on. So the human actually believed he wasn't manipulating him... that was good. Naoki had been afraid Seth would believe that, especially with how rightfully paranoid he had to be after gaining his memories. He looked away from Seth and clasped his hands in front of him.
"...I'm not entirely sure myself," Naoki admitted. "I suppose I feel a bond with you. I can understand what you've gone through as a result of your King's transformation into a demon. And I suppose I feel guilty as well. Some of this hell you have gone through is my fault... It was my fault that you gained this curse, and I suppose some of the blame for Abel gaining his true form can be placed on me as well, though I know he would have completed his transformation eventually."
He looked up. "But most of all... I don't want you to have to suffer for this. You never chose to become involved with this war in the first place, did you? You never chose those scars on your body."
He pointed at the scars visible on Seth's neck as he said that. Naoki didn't know all of the details, but he knew the basics, and he could infer from there.

Sayuri raised an eyebrow at Ryoji's question. He'd seen the butterfly? To her knowledge only Souji had been able to see it before. She'd not kept a close eye upon the incidences at Tatsumi Port Island, but it was reasonable to assume Minato had seen it as well. Sayuri shook her head.
"I can't say for sure. More importantly, that butterfly you mentioned. Are you familiar with myths surrounding butterflies?"
"I only know a greek association..." Ryoji said. He had a concerned frown, "There was a woman named Psyche, and she's usually associated with butterflies..."
----------
Yuugi frowned at Abel's expression. He didn't give them a lot anymore, and he realized he may have hit a cord without meaning to. Jounouchi looked confused at Abel's response and seemed to be trying to figure out what "Hitoshura" meant. Yuugi was about to respond when he noticed a flicker of expression on Abel once again. He looked at Atem, who seemed to be trying to figure it out as well.
"What are the other options?" Atem asked, "Your own words earlier implied that we could be at risk too. I'd rather not be uninformed."
----------
The answer wasn't really what Seth was hoping for... and then it confused him further. He made no effort to hide that in his expression (why not? He was guarded around everyone else). Naoki had admitted to a bond to him. He was a human, Naoki was a demon. He turned away with a stoic expression as Naoki said he felt guilty. He closed his eyes. It wasn't Naoki's fault... he looked back as Naoki continued.
He was about to answer that it had been his choice when Naoki mentioned the scars. He lifted up a hand and put his finger tips on the scars peeking up from his shirt. He didn't even consider he'd show more of them in that action, considering the cross-shaped scars on his hands. His hand curled into a fist and dropped.
"They're better than the alternative," he said, turning away, "Had I not gotten these, we'd probably be... I mean, I'd consider you an enemy. YHVH was using me as a backup Messiah after Abel made it clear he was going to turn away from Him. I would have ended up killing Abel in His name."
"We can't talk again after this. Abel is dead set on seeing you killed, even if it kills me in the process. I'll be lucky to convince him of my reasoning for not fighting you here," Seth hung his head. His bangs concealed his eyes, "I doubt he'll allow me anything resembling rest tonight, because he will know we talked."
Seth's voice had dropped down to a near mutter as he continued to talk, and it had started when he said they couldn't meet again. A bond, huh? He couldn't say he didn't feel it in return. But it was pointless. He sighed. Well if he had to receive Abel's wrath anyways, he could try to convince him again... No matter how futile it would likely end up being. He lifted his head again after a moment and looked at Naoki.
"Is there something more than that going on? I told Abel I think its a waste for you to die because of your potential as an ally... he seems to think there's more. I'm effectively five thousand years old here, I should be able to figure this out..."

Minato looked confused as Sayuri continued. He'd never known much about myths, much less ones about butterflies. However, the moment Ryoji mentioned a "Psyche", Koromaru began to frantically bark.
"...I don't know anything, but I think he might," Minato said, pointing toward Koromaru.
Meanwhile, whatever magical-staying-standing-while-sleeping powers Souji had finally wore out, and he slid down into a sitting position. It didn't seem to cause him to stir at all. Minato turned toward him for a moment as he slid down, but once it was clear he wasn't waking up, he turned back toward Sayuri.
-----------------
Abel gave a full-on scowl at that. "The only thing I could think of that would directly involve you would be if he'd come here in pursuit of Nyarlathotep. However, if that demon's gained the ability to travel dimensions, there's not much we can do about that. He's already powerful enough." It was clear Abel was annoyed by that fact. He was having a hard enough time finding the demon. If he'd gained that much power... he didn't want to consider that. "Honestly, I think he'd likely attack you just for collaborating with me. I don't see him as being very discriminate in that fact."
-----------------
Atsuro hadn't been able to keep his composure for very long. In fact, the moment he had been sure Pegasus was both out of eyeshot and earshot, and that no one was coming near, he'd broken down again. Amaterasu had responded in kind the moment the tears had started falling, and stood up and placed herself in front of Atsuro. He'd ended up embracing the wolf and pressing his face into her fur ruff to keep from showing his tears. Bizarrely enough, she smelled like flowers, but he wasn't really focusing on that right now.
Abel was here. He was terrified and at the same time, relieved. Maybe Abel was here to kill him. A rather large part of him hoped that was the case. But now there were two Abels here... and both of them likely wanted him dead. He didn't know what to do. He was so confused. He felt like he was breaking, which was probably a fitting comparison.
"Uh... hey, Atsuro, dude... if it makes you feel any better... I don't sense any of that power from before anymore. I think they're gone... at least that they've been gone," Issun said. Atsuro pushed himself up and wiped away some of the dampness on his face, as well as a few stray wolf hairs that had managed to stick to his face from the tears. He probably should have expected that, what with using a wolf for a pillow.
"...If he's here, I'll just have to stay away from him," Atsuro said. "Easy! Nothing to it!" It was a little too optimistic, and Amaterasu gave a worried whine at that, pressing herself against his legs again. He gave a pained smile. "...I'll be okay. I'll be fine... you don't have to keep worrying about me, Ammy."
--------------------
Naoki kept his eyes trained on Seth as the human tried to claim the scars were better than the alternative. True, he would have become an enemy of theirs, but compared to the hell he was going through now... "Do you really believe that?" Seth had continued on, so Naoki assumed the human hadn't heard him.
He looked away and grimaced as Seth hung his head. Things were worse than he'd thought between Abel and Seth. He'd known things were bad, but Seth's descriptions of what would happen... this was abuse. Abel was a demon, but even so, Seth was his brother. He didn't need to treat Seth like this.
He looked further away as Seth lifted his head. There was a guilty expression on the demon's face, but at the same time there was a slight flush of pink. Most people wouldn't notice it. "...No. If there's anything else going on... then I suppose I'm blind to it too."

Ryoji gave a startled jump as Koromaru began barking, and Honda looked confused. That dog had always been extremely smart, always seeming to understand what humans were saying, but he wasn't sure what Sayuri had said that would worry him so much. Sayuri had looked towards Koromaru as well as he began to bark, and was takinga step towards him when Souji slipped down. She jerked her head towards him in surprise, but calmed down after a moment and continued her approach to Koromaru.
"Do you know more about what's going on then they do?" Sayuri asked, "About butterflies?"
----------
"We have another demon to worry about?! This is turning out worse than Malik was!"
Yuugi gave a nervous chuckle at Jounouchi's words. There was not an ounce of humor in it. Surely Jounouchi didn't mean that? He looked back towards Abel, "Can we help...?"
"I don't feel like hiding from this, but if what you're saying is true, it's your problem, right?" Atem asked. He didn't like the idea of their group being targetted for Abel's problems.
----------
Seth didn't notice the flush, and after a moment turned away. He was looking into the distance again, and it was clear he was more inside his head than anything else. He let out a sigh.
"The final choice was mine. I could have remained neutral to the whole mess. Don't blame yourself," he finally said. He shook his head and looked back at Naoki, "But I'm serious. If you show up again, I've got no choice but to try and kill you. And I know I can't. So... please, stay away."
Seth found himself wincing at the last words. Had he just... begged Naoki to stay away? Was he that attached? He turned away quickly. Maybe he was just scared for his own fate. Cause Naoki didn't have to kill him. That made more sense than this odd attachment.

Koromaru gave a whine was Sayuri approached him. The dog took a step back, but stopped as he realized that Sayuri only wanted to talk to him. Even with how Sayuri was a friend of the group's (as far as Koromaru knew), she was still a goddess, and Koromaru didn't exactly trust god figures.
I know that the butterfly that led me to this island was called Philemon, Koromaru said. And I know that butterflies are associated with life and death, and that one floated around Minato's body on the day of his funeral.
"...What's he saying?" Minato asked. He could only hear barking from the dog, but he was sure he was saying something.
-------------------
Abel scowled at Atem, but he nodded. "So long as you haven't done anything to specifically provoke these demons, they are the concern of the Court of Bel only. I only thought it may help to inform you of these facts."
He allowed his scowl to drop. "That was all I wished to talk about. And please do be careful with Atsuro. He's so very fragile."
----------------
After prodding Amaterasu some more, Atsuro finally managed to get out of the clearing and back to walking toward the main part of the shrine. If Abel was gone (both of them...), then he'd be fine, right? He just needed to get back to Yuugi, anyways. They were probably worried about him, after all.
He rather quickly managed to get himself lost in the crowd, and lo and behold, Yuugi was not where he'd seen him last. He probably should have expected that. However, Adil was. Atsuro blanched, then willed his expression to look somewhat normal. Didn't need the guy who could already read him like a book to be more worried.
* "H-Hello, Adil!" * Atsuro called, raising his hand. Amaterasu gave a bark as Atsuro called Adil's name. * "I thought you with Anzu!" *
--------------------------
Naoki continued looking away. Seth continued to tell him to stay away, and yet Naoki felt like that wasn't an option. Especially since he knew how Abel would treat Seth. He looked toward Seth and his expression was flat.
"I can't do that, Seth," Naoki said. "We will meet up again eventually, whether we like it or not. Your King will make sure of that. In fact, I'm sure that he's sensed the bond I have with you, and he will make you kill me yourself.
Despite his words, he stood up. "Please be careful, Seth. I don't want to see you be hurt any further by your brother."

Sayuri had paused when Koromaru stepped back, and only advanced when he seemed willing to let her approach. She crouched down as he spoke. Honda looked to Ryoji and gave a shrug, but Ryoji was focused more on Minato. He looked concerned with the whole situation.
Sayuri looked towards Minato as he asked his question. She took a moment to answer. She didn't know much about Philemon, whose name was even adopted as a product of man's theories. He kept to himself, and what little interactions he did have tended to be with humans. What she did know was that he made it a point to not interfere... this much interaction seemed unusual.
"He didn't say anything that helps the situation," Sayuri answered, "If you've met a butterfly, then you should follow up on that. I won't forgive you if Souji-san dies because you failed to follow up on all possibilities."

Yuugi frowned at Abel's comment. It wasn't a sign of his nervousness with the situation, he seemed genuinely upset by the way Abel had delivered it. But he didn't say anything about it. Atem didn't look very pleased with it either... but it was Jounouchi who voiced what they were thinking.
"And whose fault is that?! Isn't that guy your friend?!"
-----------
Adil jumped as Atsuro addressed him, and spun around in a rather uncharacteristic swerve of surprise. He calmed down as soon as he saw who had called him and gave a smile and a wave. He nodded his head as Atsuro finished up his greeting.
* "I was with her, but Yuugi-kun's grandfather showed up. She took him to meet him. How are you doing?" *
----------
Seth looked back towards Naoki with a disapproving frown when he said that he couldn't stay away. He hesitated when Naoki suggested that Abel may arrange matters so that they'd have to face down. Seth opened his mouth, but paused. An argument was escaping him. After a moment he shook his head.
"If he arranges a meeting, it will be to see if you'll kill me. I don't think he wants me dead," Seth replied. A painfully practical question arose, "Would you? I know what you attempted before, but would you now?"

Minato frowned as Sayuri relayed what Koromaru had said. So they were at another dead end. He clenched the key in his hand tighter as she finished up.
"Don't worry, I plan on it," Minato said. He looked down at Souji, who was sound asleep despite how he'd managed to land. "You should probably take him with you. I don't think it would be right to leave Souji sleeping on the ground."
------------------
The expression Abel gave Jounouchi at his comment was completely flat, and it was from that it would be at the very least clear to Atem that he didn't really care about Jounouchi. He very slightly tilted his head to the side as he spoke.
"He was. But the demon realm proved to be no place for him, so he ran," Abel said. "He was never dedicated to the cause in the first place, anyways."
Of course, that wasn't the whole story. But Abel wouldn't drop his authority just to tell this dog that he honestly missed Atsuro's company. He was acting as the damned King of Bel, not some silly little human riding on Naoya's coattails, dammit.
-------------------
Atsuro blinked at Adil's reaction. That was a bit... different from how the man reacted before. Had something set him on edge? Was it possible he'd run into Abel? It was possible, especially if Abel was still here, which Atsuro doubted but it was still a possibility.
* "I feel more good than before. What about you?" *
Atsuro winced a bit at his sentence, and hoped that he'd at least managed to get that to sound coherent. He honestly had no clue if it was coherent or not; his English had never been all that good in the first place. At least Seth had been able to give him a couple lessons before, but it was still pretty bad.
--------------------
There was an uncomfortable pause after Seth's question. In truth, Naoki didn't know how to respond to that. He'd have to kill Seth if the man tried to kill him, or if Lucifer ordered it. At the same time, he didn't want to kill him.
"I don't know," Naoki finally said.
