It had been a few months since the young budding author, Daniel J. Mathewson, first published his so far only work called Planet of the Guinea Pigs. While the book gained some moderate commercial success on the market, there were a number of critics who called it "childishly idealistic" for a story based on William Golding's Lord of the Flies, even a "Lord of the Flies in space." Though to its defense, Planet of the Guinea Pigs was written primarily as a children's book.
Glancing around the busy broadcast station lobby with a full manila folder, Danny raised a finger awkwardly in a feeble attempt to get someone's attention. "Um, excuse me..." he said. "Does... anyone know where I can find Studio Director Kelsey Nintendonut I's office at?"

As Daniel looked around the studio, a young man suddenly bumped into him rather hard. "OUCH!"
Both of them on the ground, the young man, revealed to be Gantz van Drake, reached around and quickly collected the papers that he had seen fall from the man's folders. "Pardon me sir, but I was in a hurry." He handed the papers to the man, "I've got an important date that I can't be late for." He handed the papers back, and found that his sunglasses had been askewed, to which he quickly adjusted. "You okay there?"

Now that PotGP had been circulating for sometime, he was... more or less willing to pitch the idea that he'd admit may be asking a bit much... But, they say that if nothing's ventured then nothing's gained, so he might as well at least try.
Still, he seemed a little hard pressed to find anyone who would tell him where to find the studio director's...
"Oof!" His search, and thoughts on such, were cut off when a boy appearing in his late teens knocked him down, though clearly not intentionally.
Danny awkwardly pulled himself up rubbing his sore bottom as the boy helped him gather his papers and apologized. "It's OK," he assured him in a quiet, thoughtful tone as his papers were handed back. "I'm fine..." Grasping his folder, he added, "But if you have another moment... do you know where I can find Ms. Nintendonut's office around here?"

The teen looked at the man confused. He thought a bit about this before looking around. "To be honest, I didn't know there was anyone that worked here under that name..."
And there was good reason for that, the only Nintendo Nut 1 Gantz knew was the one from deviantART back when he lived in the Real World. "I was just here to talk about participating in a game show... Didn't make it in, but it was worth a shot, considering I needed some extra cash." He seems to spot something not too far away. "Ah!" He points to what appears to be an information booth not too far off. "Maybe you can ask somebody there for help."

Danny brightened up a little as he saw where the teenager was pointing. "Ah, information booth. Thanks..." he said politely. He set off for the booth, letting the younger man be on his way.
A bit farther back, however, was a small individual walking inconspicuously through the hustle and bustle of the lobby. He looked a lot like a Shy Guy, yet his cloak was an uncommon purple. Whoever he was, unlike Danny, he apparently wanted to remain unnoticed by the busy people around him...

"Not a problem." Nodding at the job well done, Gantz turned to leave...
However, that little splash of purple caught his attention amidst the crowd. Just happened to see it really. "Hm?" He turned to the purple thing and found out it was some kind of purple robe... He lowered his sunglasses to take a better look at it "What the-?"

As the Shy Guy slipped into the back corner of the lobby, he carefully and telekinetically lifted one of the barriers keeping out general public, making not one single sound. Once on the other side, he carefully replaced the barrier while still being silent about it. Then, when he was certain no one was watching, he slipped down a restricted hallway.
"Are you sure?" Danny asked the lady at the information booth with a frown. "But... This was kinda the time she told me she'd penciled me in..."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Mathrewson," the woman responded as she hung up her phone. "Ms. Peterson got an important call from the staff committee, and she won't be available for another hour or so..."
With a sigh, Danny picked up his folder and stood up. "Guess I'll just have to see what I can do for the next hour so so then..."

As Daniel said this, he took notice of Gantz suddenly weaving his way through the crowd, a curious expression on his face as he seemed to be walking for... Somewhere.
When he reached the destination, Daniel was surprised to find him stopping near a restricted hall way.... "The presence stops here..." He seemed to notice the Restricted hallway after a second. "........ Thanks for making it easy on me buddy..."
He felt at the open air a moment before feeling the barrier. "Hmmm...." Thinking a second, he snapped his fingers before focusing.... After a moment, due to unknown magic, SOMETHING seemed to open up, and Gantz walked in.... It closed back quickly, causing him to disappear from sight.

Danny stared curiously as the teenaged boy slipping through the crowd towards the back. Huh... where's he off to...?
Meanwhile, PSI Guy slipped down the hallway, dodging from door cavity to door cavity while expertly avoiding the attention of any stray worker passing by. Eventually, he reached the door he was evidently searching for.
Bingo, he thought as he slipped into the door labeled "GENERATOR ROOM".

With Gantz, he had an easier time of sneaking around. When he saw a few workers approaching, he quickly hid around the corner and, after taking a second to think, he cast an invisibility spell on himself.
With that, he casually walked out from around the corner and past the workers. From there, he had an easy time of it, tracking the energy signature he had started following... "Where are you going?"
After a moment, the trail ended at a door labeled 'Generator Room'....
Curiouser and curiouser...

PSI Guy stared around all the mechanics in the room. around all the walls were various control panels and security systems while attached to everything in the middle was the big generator itself. Well, one of the big generators powering the area...
"Um... Are you allowed in here?" asked Danny, who in those words suddenly revealed he was standing a few feet away from Gantz not long after he traced PSI Guy to the Generator Room entrance.

Gantz jumped and looked to Danny, "Oh you again." He shook his head. "No. No I'm not..." After looking around a moment, he lowered his voice a moment. "But I have a feeling the guy that just snuck into this room doesn't either..."

Working swiftly, PSI Guy slid over to one of the control panels and began playing around with it, carefully working around various security systems.
Meanwhile, outside the room, Danny stared at the door with a frown. He felt what was unmistakably a PSI signature behind it, and a strong one at that. "Well, whoever that guy is, he must be one tough psychic..." he remarked quietly.

"Well, there's only one thing we can do now is there?" Gantz grinned a moment as he took the doorknob. "Something tells me this is gonna be messy. You can go for help if you like. I'll be able to handle him until help gets here."
Regardless of how Danny answered, Gantz turned the doorknob quietly.
-------------------------------
PSI Guy was likely surprised to find a sunglasses wearing youth now standing at the door. "You know, I hear you can learn a lot going backstage to organizations like this." He took notice of PSI Guy working at a control panel. "But something tells me, that isn't what you had in mind..."
His hand went to Soul Calibur hiding in it's sheath.

PSI Guy turned with a snort; his expressive Shy Guy mask seemed to practically form into a smirk. "Guess security team standards have really gone downhill these days," he quipped.
Meanwhile, Danny looked awkwardly around the hallway wondering where to go for help. He wasn't even sure where the security booth in this place was!
