Fluttershy was still in awe. Evidently Rainbow had learned danmaku even faster then the ones teaching her.
"Yay, go Rainbow Dash! Woo hoo!" she cheered... with less volume than was probably needed. But she caught this, and cleared her throat. "Yay, Rainbow Dash!" she cheered again. Slightly louder, but still mostly ineffective. Oh well.
Her stomach growled, and she tried to stop Meiling and Rainbow, flying to catch up with them. "Wait! We should eat first... No sense working on an empty stomach," she reasoned.

Michael said, "...I think they're a little too far out to stop them now, Fluttershy. Besides, you know Rainbow better than any of the rest of us; I'm sure you know how she gets..." Michael then thought for a minute. "Besides, if she hasn't eaten, she won't stay working for too long. And... I'll help you make something for her later; I'm certain she'll really appreciate that."
Marisa and Alice started walking back, Marisa shooting Satori a thumbs-up. Marisa thought 'Nice work, Komeji. Nice work,' knowing full well that she'd be able to hear it.
Michael then said, "I'll open up your Chi pathways after breakfast; I agree with Patchy; it'll probably be good if you learn to use Chi to heal. C'mon, let's go in."

Satori bowed lightly at Marisa's mental comment and thumbs up before she and Patchouli moved in to eat. Spike's breakfest was well made, a tribute to how hard he worked for Twilight in Equestria, and as a result, even though it was more or less only vegetarian, the two magic users did enjoy it. Satori, despite picking up some methods on how not to be so annoying, was still as socially awkward as ever however. She made Patchouli look like the life of a party and that was saying something. Thinking about who she could start a conversation with, she realized that she couldn't effectively speak of anything when she already knew everything. So maybe she could just pretend. Opening her mouth lightly... yeah, that wouldn't work on any of them.
Except the Pegasus pony. She didn't fully grasp Satori's power. She caught a glimpse of it, sure, but that didn't mean she couldn't attempt it. It was better then remaining utterly silent. She was shocked, however, to be able to read the minds of Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy's wasn't locked away either. Normally she couldn't read the minds of animals. Actually, they never really had a thought. Orin and Utsuho didn't think much as they only really, to her knowledge, thought of how best to serve her. So she never had to finish any sentences and they enjoyed her company. But these beings were different. Scooting lightly next to Fluttershy, the Pegasus would kinda get the feeling that, despite her power and poise, Satori wasn't really the spoiled rich girl type. She ruled a deserted Hell, how could she be?
She was, instead, the more lonely type, isolated by her own powers save for Orin and Utsuho. Some people might've thought she wasn't, but they never saw her apart from the game she appeared in... a.k.a another villain to be beat down. In essence, she actually shared traits with the yellow Pegasus, as hard as it would be to believe, while sharing intellectual traits with Twilight. Why compare everything to ponies? Deal with it. Anyway, when she finally found something to ask that didn't sound like she should already know it due to mind reading prowess, she was still careful on how to word it. "So... do you feel strongly for the rainbow colored pony?" She knew the answer already, so she was naturally apt to get asked why she'd bother asking that.

With a satisfied smile, Spike finished up the rest of his sausage and scarfed down his fruit salad. Checking around to see that everyone else's plates and bowls were empty, he said, "Ok, everyone finished?" and began going around to collect the dishes. "I'll just heat up Dash and Meiling's food when they get back back from their lessons on being 20% cooler."
That said, the little dragon carried the dishes over to the sink.

Fluttershy thankfully started to eat some of Spike's lunch. He was a great cook! The soy sausage especially was delicious. She looked up to notice Satori sitting next to her. Sensing a great loneliness in her, she gingerly scooted closer to her as well, not minding being closer to her. It seemed like the girl could use a friend. She locked up a bit on the question. Her wings naturally extended to get air under them, and fluttered lightly. She blushed, embarrassed. Flutter, shy. Hehe.
"Well, um." She looked away. "She is my friend, why would I not feel strongly about her?" Of course she was hiding her true feelings. She thought of Rainbow Dash as more than just a friend. She couldn't imagine life without her. She'd grown up with Rainbow, so she felt like she had an understanding of her greater than anyone else. But she could never tell Rainbow, or anyone else for that matter of these feelings. Her fluttering wings would betray her feelings, though, even to someone who didn't have mind-readying powers.
Poor Fluttershy winced, even more embarrassed. She couldn't seem to control her wings anymore, which were twitching on their own.

Marisa and Alice shot a furtive look between themselves. They had no idea whether she was just getting air under her wings like Rainbow had done before (to Michael's embarrassment) or if this was a legitimate emotional reaction.
Michael, however, had no such confusion. He knew that Satori most likely already knew the answer to that, and Fluttershy's wings only confirmed his suspicions. 'I thought so...' Walking over to the pale yellow Pegasus, Michael ruffled her mane a little, saying, "Your wings say otherwise, dearie... heheh. Don't worry too much; I know that she feels something strong for you, too. She was really worried, for you and all the rest of your friends, before you showed up here... but I think she was the most worried about you."

"If it came down to life or death, I think Rainbow would kill for Fluttershy without hesitation in order to save her. The ponies aren't known for ever doing something to cause harm, much less fatalities, but it is still a strong possibility," Patchouli replied. "There is a strong protective drive in Rainbow, after all. It works for all of her friends, but for sweet, timid Fluttershy, her childhood friend, it is naturally the highest it can ever get. And considering how chaotic and unstable this world is, a lawless land without any true order or governing force, such dedication is a blessing from whatever god you choose to believe in." She sipped some tea she made, then realized... "Of course, you all already have experience in that regard. Discord and your dear friend Pinkie Pie combined could make up the sadistic and non sadistic chaotic portions of our island respectively, couldn't they?"

Whistling an old folk melody (coincidentally, one identical to the melody humans would recognize as belonging to the classic My Little Pony theme), Spike carried the used dishes over to the sink to wash them. He missed at least most of the conversation, not paying attention to it. As he continued to wash, he turned around and piped up, "Hey, when we're all done here, let's go see how Rainbow's training's going."

Fluttershy blushed a lot. Her secret was out, it looked like. She hunkered down and hid her face between her hooves. It honored Fluttershy that Rainbow felt that way for her but it was still incredibly embarrassing. "Please don't tell Rainbow Dash about this," she pleaded. "I... Just please don't..." She would do anything for Rainbow Dash too. She would do anything for all of her friends, but for Rainbow Dash...
She had no answer to Patchouli's question, and was relieved at Spike's interruption, it gave her refuge from the thoughts. "Spike! Oh, I've never been so happy to see you!" She zipped away from the others and was by his side immediately. "I'm all ready, we should go now, Spike."

Michael thought, 'Well...damn. I was hoping that that would reassure her, but it looks like it had the opposite effect... Oh, well. I think I know how to proceed from here.'
Alice walked over to Fluttershy and gave her a hug, trying to be friendly. She said, "I know that you don't want to say anything, but you cannot just bottle this up... believe me, I know how you feel; I was in your position not that long ago." She looked over at Marisa, who smiled a huge grin and waved. "It starts to hurt after a while, and I would not wish that on someone as sweet as you. ...Think about it, at least... please?"
Alice walked back over to Marisa and the two of them went out, heading over to the training grounds.
Michael furtively snagged a candied apple; he didn't know how much Rainbow liked them, but he figured something sweet like that would be appreciated. ...And it wasn't like he'd be lying about who it came from; Fluttershy had made it a day previous... Mike thought to himself, 'She deserves a happy ending... both of them. ...I'm such a sucker for happy endings; there's been far too many sad stories about these two already.'
Michael then followed the rest out, thinking a thought to Satori. 'I hope that this works...'

Satori could feel the tension and instantly regretted asking the question. Fluttershy's tension of not wanting the secret to be revealed, Alice's from remembering, and then there was Michael's thoughts, hoping to make a happy ending. The biggest tension and negativity from thoughts came from Patchouli, however, and she knew why, being a mind reader. Patchouli also cared for the witch, Marisa, but it seemed she was with Alice. She was trying to cover up her thoughts with quotes from books she had read, but Satori could see past them. Her neutral expression betrayed nothing to the others, however, but then her eyes looked up at Satori. Say one word and they will never find your body. The satori gulped, blinking lightly at this predicament, until she felt two happy thoughts coming their way.
The voices outside confirmed her suspicions and brought her relief. "You did amazing, Rainbow. I'd swear we were ready to move onto Spellcards at this point."
"Thanks! I mean... it was a little difficult to do it without being annoyed at someone. Maybe I channel my energy better that way, but that was still awesome!"

Spike raised his eyebrows as he heard the voices outside. "Oh, sounds like they're back already."
That said, he sprinted over to the door and opened it, peering out to see Rainbow and Meiling approaching. "Hey, how was training, guys?" he called out eagerly. "Your breakfast is a little cold now, but I can heat it up for you!"

Before Alice could leave, Fluttershy whispered to her and Marisa. "Please... Don't tell her for me. I want to... do it on my own." She let them leave after she said this.
She brightened up when she heard Rainbow and Meiling returning. When they entered, she gave them a nice wave and a smile, walking up to Rainbow Dash. "How did it go?" she asked. "Did you get the hang of.... whatever that was called?" She realized her wings were still extended and quickly folded them down against her body. Oops. She hoped Rainbow didn't ask about that.

Michael furtively put the candied apple back. If Fluttershy wanted to do this herself, then he wouldn't interfere. 'I just hope that this works out,' he thought to himself.
Alice and Marisa both silently acknowledged her. Marisa waved to Rainbow, saying "So, I take it it went well?"

As stated before, Rainbow didn't think anything of the "wing boners" as, to her, it was natural. "Getting some wind on the wings Fluttershy?" Rainbow giggled. She was making fun of Michael's assertions more then Fluttershy. The question was would the yellow pegasus understand that? "Anyway, Meiling says I'm a natural."
"I'm beginning to wonder, really, if we're sure she didn't come from Gensokyo originally," Meiling said. "The only thing is she still exerts a lot of power, but for the most part, she's doing amazing." At the thought of breakest, both Meiling and Rainbow went inside and ate. What was heat? Nothing but a change in temperature. But enough talk. The food was delicious nevertheless!
