Namia slowly began to stop, then realised her actions. "Oh, I'm sorry, Mr." She said, trying to look innocent. "I... haven't really seen anything quite like that for a while. I had to laugh!" She opened her little vest and fished out a few dollars, something she was holding onto.
"Here. I've got more, so take it!" She smiled at him, then looked to the side. "Hey, It'a a bunny man!"

Sain accepted the dollars, looking at them curiously.
"Little strips of paper?" he asked, confused. At first he thought this was some weird method of payment. But why would someone use paper as payment? It was hardly worth anything.

Warren gave another eep as Namia noticed him and retreated back into the alleyway. At this point, he was starting to look like he was going to make a run for it. In fact, if anyone startled him right now, that would probably be the likely reaction.

Namia looked disappointed. She had to think, what would a seven year old do at times like this? Remembering, she started to tear up, slowly begining to cry up small tears. "I scared him..." she softly said.

Sain felt guilty. He never could resist helping a crying woman. Turned out age didn't matter.
"Oh!" he said, rubbing her back with a gloved hand. "It's okay. I already made friends with him. Here, let me try to calm him down for you," he said reassuringly as he turned to Warren. "Hey," he said in as soft a voice as he could. "It's okay, she's not going to hurt you." He'd had experience dealing with a terrified horse, and the key was persistence and a soothing voice. Of course, with nonsentient animals, the words didn't matter. But Warren clearly understood speech, so that was of equal importance.

Warren gave a gulp and poked his head out from the alley again. After a moment, he very warily walked out from the alleyway. Once again, he cursed his current situation. Had he been in the right state of mind, he might have been able to actually do something besides run away like that.
He slowly began approaching them again, and after a moment, felt confident he could walk toward them. Problem was... he tripped on one of his fallen balls. He ended up falling on his back rather painfully.

Namia put her hands over her mouth, gasping at the trip. Well, this wasn't working out.... "Oh no!" the red head exclaimed, brushing the bangs out of her face. she slowly walked towards him, but only a few feet. "Mister? Are you alright?"

Sain was startled as well, reaching into his pack of supplies for a restorative Vulnerary. He smiled. The neat thing about Vulneraries was that they could be both ingested, for serious wounds, or lightly spread over the affected area, to speed up healing in less serious injuries.
He pulled one out and approached Warren. "That was a nasty fall..."

Warren gave a nod as Sain spoke, and then realized the others were approaching him. He looked up at Namia, and gave a smile as he realized what she had to be. Even in his diminished state, he could sense the magical energies she gave off. Looked like he wasn't the only one being untrue to himself.
He pushed himself up and brushed himself off, pushing away Sain's vulnerary as he did so. He didn't need that at all. He checked to make sure his glasses were still on his face (which they should have been in any case; they were enchanted so that the only way they'd come off were if he consciously removed them, after all), and then turned to Sain and Namia, giving an embarrassed bow.

Namia clapped her hands, giggling softly. "Mr. bunny man's alright!" She opened her eyes at the demon, then noticed his smile. Her expression hit a downfall for a moment, then she picked it back up. No! don't give it away! she thought to herself.
Could he have really known? Was it that abvious? she was trying her best to hide it, but, how? Then it hit her. He must of sensed her ability. Still trying to keep up the act, she looked at Sain and Smiled. "So what's your name, mister?" she said, her saphire pendant dangling from her necklace.

Sain smiled back at Namia, admiring her sapphire pendant. "I am Sain, of the Caelin canton of knights," he said, almost as though rehearsed. As many times as he'd said it, it essentially was. "I'm from a... different place than here, as it happens," he continued, "and I'm not... sure how to go back."

Warren continued smiling as Namia asked Sain what his name was. As Sain explained, Warren was digging into his jacket, finally pulling out two business cards, which he held out to Namia and Sain.

She looked at the card and squinted, acting like she had zero reading capabilities. "Wa... Worn? um... Oh! Your names is Warren! That's a nice name." she commented, grinning, two of her baby teeth missing. "My name is Namia Fredrick, how do you do?" she asked, giving a polite curtsey.

"Warren Shire," Sain read to himself. "Rabbit... demon?" he said with slight apprehension. He's a demon...? He seems... too timid to be one. He adjusted his armor. Unless it's a sham.

Warren looked a little embarrassed as Namia said his name was nice. He scratched the back of his head, looking down as Namia asked how he was, and then as Sain read out his description on his business card.
He tried to give a small smile, but it was clear it was forced. Something about Sain's reaction to the card told him the knight didn't really trust him much now.
