"It's all right, Namia," said Sain. "We all have things to hide. It's when you choose to tell them, to whom, and why, that counts." He looked to Warren, frozen to the wall. "I don't hold that against either one of you."
He bent down to pick up Warren's glasses, studying them closely. Why would he need these so much right now, Sain wondered. Seeing things wasn't exactly a priority right now for him.

She Gave Sain a small smile. At least someone was okay with it...
"Now let's see..." Namia pointed two fingers at that seal on his arm, causing it to glow, ever so faintly. "Seems like an older variety, one made in the 1800s," she Surmised. "...put his glasses back on. They keep his seal intact, weird as it sounds."
Dispite what went on, she couldn't help but admire her work. normally, the freezing flames quit after icing something, but her variety was a true work of art. This shot worked like actual flames, and the proof was that the ice was getting thicker as tme went on.

Warren continued to smirk as the glasses were placed on his face. The moment they touched his face, it was like a magnet, and they pulled right on. A similar shift to what had happened to when Warren had taken his glasses off occurred, and Warren suddenly looked very afraid.
No no no no no no this was a bad idea what is wrong with me no no no
Warren began struggling against the ice, and he looked like his heart was going to give out from the panic. Really, he was more like a normal rabbit than a person right now...

Sain looked over the demon. Well, he didn't look much like a demon anymore.
"All right," he said, hoping Warren didn't remember that the transformation was partly his fault. "I think you're... all right, now, Warren. Are you hurt?" He discreetly ditched the metal rod he'd picked up.

"You still remember, don't you?" Namia piped up. She began to giggle, then laugh with a great force. "Haha, I'm sorry, but to see a Demon mess up on his own? That seal's keeping you from being your true self, and it was given to you by someone from your current world, am I right?"
She took a good look at her pendent for a moment, the looked back at him. "That sort of spell comes from England," she quietly noticed. "I would know, I was in England for a portion of my life. Lancaster, specifically, is my home town."

Warren didn't respond to Namia. Really, it didn't seem like he could, and he still looked rather scared. More at the fact he couldn't move than anything else.
Tch. She's smart. Too smart. ...She scares me a little... no, dammit! Stop thinking like that! Warren thought to himself. I bet she's a friend of that stupid hick farmer who sealed me...

Sain was a bit bothered by Namia's laughter at Warren's expense, but he kept it to himself. For now he decided it would be best to try to free Warren, if only to calm him down.
"Warren, stay calm," he said, "I'm going to get you out of there." He looked to find his sword, curious if it was still hanging in midair. Seeing that it wasn't, he picked it up, carefully cutting away at the ice.

"You won't break it like that," she said, looking at the wall of ice. "It was forged from a type of fire, and Fire's burn whatever they find." she held up her hand, slowly poring small flames on it. the ice slowly cracked, then decayed on its own, to which she put her hand down.
"Now then," she said, keeping a close watch on him. "how well can you explain without talking, Preytell?"

Warren hadn't stopped shaking even as Sain tried to reassure him and break him out of the ice. He hadn't even stopped shaking as the ice finally started melting away. He was just keeping his eyes locked on Namia as she asked her question.
Thing was, he had no intention of answering Namia's question, because the moment the ice decayed around his feet, he had broken off running. He was going to put as much distance between himself and Namia as possible. He was going to run back to the hotel, and lock himself in. Hopefully they couldn't find him.
...'Course, he forgot he'd given them his business card.

Sain blinked. "Well, that was... semi-expected." Sain scratched his head. "I wonder where he ran off to." Without realizing it, he dropped the business card, and it landed face-up on the street.

She looked at the card closely, getting the hint she needed. "Void City Hotel..." she stopped, turned, and walked the other direction. He obviously didn't want to be friends after the way she acted, so there wasn't Much point to her chasing after him.
It wouldn't matter anyway, he's too timid in that form. she thought, giving a deep sigh. Of course, it is that seal making him like that...
"Sain," she said, softly and without hesitation. "I... Want you to do this one alone. I'm not coming." She looked to him, her dazzling Emerald Eyes waving from incoming tears. "And... if you find him, tell him I give sincerist appologies."
A small tear fell to the pavement, causing the soft greys to turn rather dark. The greys continued this, as a miniature rain fell from her stained, little eyes. She was crying uncontrollably, only this time, the tears weren't false.

Sain turned to Namia as she began speaking.
"All right," he said with a hint of solemnity. "I understand." His eye caught the business card he'd dropped, and he crouched to pick it up.
"Void City Hotel..." he muttered to himself. "Well I guess I should get to finding that, wherever it is." He looked around, trying to catch sight of it among the buildings.
This entire situation has gone from mundane to supernatural very quickly, he thought. I'm going through a strange world to find an inn where a terrified rabbit demon is taking refuge from a magical girl... He wasn't really a knight here, since Caelin was in an entirely different place. Did the bounds of chivalry still hold up, to help any in need, and be responsible to acquaintances?
Yes, he affirmed himself. That's why I became a knight in the first place. Where I am has nothing to do with it. I have honor to uphold. Sain said a meaningful goodbye to Namia before he went into the city, in search of the hotel.

Namia turned for just a moment, seeing Sain's retrating figure. She was half expecting him to convince her along, but then again, it was a demon they were talking about.
She wiped the snot and tears on her sleeve and chased after him. "Wait up!" she called back.

"Oh!" Sain said, surprised. "Well, all right. Let's go," he said encouragingly.
