"I hate people..." the anthropomorphic cat mumbled to herself. She hated crowds so much and she was standing against a tree in the main plaza of Void City...which clearly wasn't helping. It was taking all she had to keep herself from freaking out. She was waiting for her best friend Kenneth to show up...but he was late...really late. In fact a few hours late.
"Shit! Where is Kenny!" she whined out loud.
Clearly not here yet... a voice echoed in her head.
"Shutup! I don't need any crap from you today!" she shouted out again. People were starting to give her looks.
"What are all you idiots looking at!" she snapped at them.

"Who are you talking to?" A voice of a young boy asked.
Next to Ruby, against the tree was sitting a young green anthropomorphic cat boy. He was otherwise known as Osaign, but preferred the name Simon over it.
On his lap was a laptop, clearly playing a game as he looked back at it while typing rapidly.
His computer bag was beside him as he finished the match and then looked back at Ruby.

Badness and Psycho clumsily attempted to put the hornet's nest back on the tree branch that they had removed it from last week. They weren't even looking at the two cat-people. "Or maybe it's an otaku!" Psycho exclaimed, suddenly breaking out his needlessly heavy Japanese accent.
"Well, she is a cat-girl." Badness acknowedged before the metal hook finally settled on the branch.

"Not talking to anybody!" she snapped at the boy ", Just...thinking out loud." She folded her arms and pouted.
She overheard the other two nearby talking about something and thought they may be talking about them. She looked their way for a second, glared and turned her attention toward her feet.

"Um.. okay miss...! Maybe your 'friend' Kenny might know where my sister went. I can't find her at all... Oh by the way... My Name's Osaign, but call me Simon..." The Boy responded looking at her one second and the next having his eyes glued onto the screen. He was playing a RPG based game. Lots of Swords and stuff included on his laptop screen.

"12 bucks for a half-dozen donuts?!" shouted Ironside Pirate captain Edward Acero at a street vendor. He coated his hand it metal and punched the vendor through the skull and took the donuts. "Here ya go, Boggs." said the strange metal man to his first mate, Thomas Boggs. "Yay, ah love donuts!" he exclaimed, taking the box right out of his captain's hands.
They both noticed the crowd staring at them after committing such a violent murder on the street. "Don't worry folks, we're not here to cause any trouble" said Edward. "And besides, you all know that was highway robbery, right?" The crowd returned by muttering "well, yeah..." or something along those lines and went on with their lives. "Oi, cap'n, look! S'a cat-girl! Y'think she's a Devil Fruit user?" They both grinned widely at the prospect of another member to be drafted into their pirate band.

"Oh, please; this island's so freaky it's obvious when you're talking to someone telepathically or something." Badness pointed out. "I mean, there are hardly any normal people on this island. Look at that guy."
He pointed to a passing-by velociraptor wearing a business suit and carrying a suitcase.
"He doesn't even have any super-powers! He's just a dinosaur who works as an accountant." Badness laughed. "This... This place is fricking ridiculous."

Ruby snapped.
"What!? EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP!!" she shouted and for about three seconds was silent ", a;dlfkjasd;lkgjagd;lkahsdf!!!1!!!111!" Suddenly she tweaked out and tucked into the fetal position.

The two pirates walked over to the catgirl who was in fetal position. "The hell is your problem?" Edward asked Ruby as he threw his cigar on the ground and stomped on it. "You crazy or something?"

Ruby was rocking back and forth now repeating.
"Not crazy, not crazy, not crazy........KENNYYYY WHERE ARE YOOOOOU!?" She suddenly shouted out again now looking terrified.

Simon was more concerned for Ruby than the other dudes around her.
"Urm... hey.. you okay?" Simon then asked raising an Eye brow trying ot feel at her forehead to check her temperature.
He thought she was having some stroke or fever.

The moment he touched her, she tweaked out and jumped backwards, now standing again but breathing heavily.
"What do you think you're doing!?" she snapped ", Don't touch me, I'm fine!"
Clearly she wasn't but she hated the fact that she had just had such a breakdown in front of all these people. She folded her arms across her chest and didn't look at any of them.
